Advise is to use a folder - expanding file - (not the ones that you have to punch holes in, but the ones with division sections that you can stuff notes in. So what I do in college and useful in school to is have one section with planer, one section exam pad and then label the others for each subject) this allows you too keep everything easy on hand. Easy and light and I wish someone had told me that sooner.
I have never been school shopping, in my 13 years of going to school, so watching these gives me a ton of serotonin!! Hope the fam has fun during school!
When I saw y'all getting supplies at Dollar Tree I kept talking to my screen saying that it was a big mistake because supplies are much cheaper at Walmart. Lol. Oh well. Now you know for next year!
Plus, most of the stuff you get at dollar store usually has less for your money. Less sheets of paper etc. Filler store is almost always a rip off. The one exception I've found is kids valentine's cards.
Omg I was thinking the same. Like ohh nooo things are for cents at Walmart during back to school season and the rest of the yr maybe dollar tree will be cheaper but definitely not now
I'm from Scotland and its interesting how many more things you need to buy for school. I guess its different ways the schools are funded, but my school always provided all the paper, folders and notebooks that we needed. Things like rulers, gluesticks, sharpeners and colouring supplies were often in classrooms to be borrowed. Everyone had to bring something to write with and I'm sure that was all some people had. I always got excited about school supplies though and always had my own of everything - and I still seem to love school supplies even now I've graduated university so these are always fun to watch!

THIS IS THE FIRST VID OF YOURS IVE SEEN AND I LOOKED THROUGH THE ACCOUNT AND EVERYONE HERE SEEMS SO NICE AND I LOVE THE BIG FAMILY AND HOW YOU HELP FOSTER AND ADOPT KIDS I LPVE YOU SO MUCH
I taught school in the poorest area of Philadelphia. The school district gave us a measly $100 a year for supplies. I even had to buy my own copy paper. Many people do not realize how much we spend of our own money. I bought countless backpacks, coats, etc...
If you're only taking 4 classes, I would get one of those big notebooks that has the cardboard dividers so it's like 4 in 1 in it and just have one notebook for school. That would be so chill
No lockers here in Arkansas either. Everything went digital so the school provides chrome books and kids use those instead of books and notebooks. That is for middle school and high school anyway.
I work at a Walmart and do the resets on overnight and the section with the Mini Brands in toys just got reset so Brody’s toys should be in stock soon-ish.
when you dont have a locker you grab a big binder and fill it with lose leaf and use dividers. life savor. when i mean big i mean big. but then its the only thing you have to carry around.
I'm a teacher myself but I still love shopping for my "school supply" every year and I agree that teachers spends their own money for their students. Whenever I go shopping I also buy extra stuff like pencils, erasers, papers, crayons, cause sometimes there are kids who lost their own stuff or forgot to bring them to school. But the expenses are so worth out because of the love we get from our kids😊 I salute all of the teachers 😊
In my school we only use lockers at break and lunch and this was before corona we have to carry everything and it ain’t that hard to be honest some days it can be but not all the time
It’ll be ok y’all. I have to carry my stuff around too. But this year they cut down our lists for books since we have to buy those. Going digital. But my advice would be only carry the things you need for classes that day. (I’m a junior). Trust me my back thanked me after I started doing that💀
Lockers are a luxury!! I didn't have lockers either!! And I carried alot of stuff in my backpack then my instrument for band all around campus. They will get over the not having lockers lol.
Didn't have lockers at my school (in the UK) we only carried the books we needed for that day so 6 lessons = 6 books, PE kit twice a week, ingredients for cooking once a week.
Schools should really just have the text books in pdf form and give all the kids a cheap lap top that is locked except for school stuff. My school did the laptop thing, but we still had heavy books.
In the UK, we don't get lockers and the day I really hated was when you had PE and cooking on the same day. Then you had to carry your books on top of that too.
You could take items back to the dollar tree. You just can’t get a refund back to you. You need to exchange for a new item. In case you didn’t know! =]
When I was in High School (9th-12th) we had lockers and majority of people used them. I would go between each class period to get my desinated bookds/binders and etc for that class and put the ones that I carried from the classes beforehand back in the lockers. I would only bring home the stuff I needed for whatever class had homework/needed to study from that day in my backpack(if it was alot of things that is hard to carry at once) or if it wasn't that much then I would just carry it home and leave my backpack in the locker.
As someone from California where schools never have lockers I was shocked about them being shocked about the school not having lockers 😫 (I know some schools out here have lockers but in my experience I’ve never seen lockers in a school only in movies and stuff lol)
Thank you for taking us on your schoolsupplies journey. I love all the comments and discussions. I missed Hannah. Lucas is so handsome without glasses, does he wear contacts as Savannah? Thanks to the graying of the new kids faces, we get an idea of their heights and ages. One standing next to Jake and one behind Ariana. As for you coffee table, Crystal, you can put it at the end of a couch or in the studio of Alex and James? Or use it as a play table or collection items for the younger kids?
I graduated from high school in the valley a few years ago and there are no lockers anywhere but for PE/dance!! I never had any issues with it, you rarely ever have to carry books because there are kept as a set in classroom.
Oh Man I’m From Hawaii And I Never Had A Locker Either, We Didn’t Even Have Actual Classes. We Had 3 Big Tents On A Farm Lot With A Big Warehouse Which Was Our “Computer Lab/ High Schoolers Class Room” And Each Tent It Was A Mixture Of 3rd Grade To 7th Grade And The High Schoolers Came Just To Chant With Us Then Go Into Their Vans To Either Get Stationed To Each Of Their Project Groups.. Like One Group Would Be Down At The Beach While Another One Was Down In The Valley Or In The Forest Doing Their Schooling Just To Learn More About The Agricultural Practices In Each Individual Environment.. Our Pre K- 2nd Grade Had An Actual Classroom But They Would Also Be Outside In The Yard Doing Environmental Projects.. But Then When I Went Into A Bigger School That Had Lockers, A Cafeteria And Individual Classes, I Never Felt So Lost In My Life.. I Was So Use To Being A Big Family In My Past School Not Needing To Feel So Left Out Cause Your Different From Others But When I Moved Schools I Was Alone, I Never Could Get My Head Around Transitions Into Different Classes Every Hour And So Much More.. But I Grew Out Of It After 2 Years, But Did I Regret It? No! But I Did Miss My Previous School No Doubt On That To Where I Would Have Love To Go Back To My Old School
We had lockers at my school but nobody used them. We didn’t have enough time between classes to get anything from our lockers, so we had to carry everything all day anyway. if anyone had one it was just to hold their coat.

Hope that helps.
@@aliyafenske8850 elementary schools have little cubbies, not lockers!
I love how aaron said the coffee table was perfect for brody's mini brands lmao the shade 😂
I been waiting for this video I hope all of the kids have an amazing school year especially Emma And the boys I am so excited for them to start school with their new siblings and can’t wait to meet them as well and that is a lot of school supplies for a big family and they fit in so well me watching y’all videos over the summer was the best I definitely can’t wait for the new intro and everything that is going to be so awesome good luck Ariana on your test I love Lucas haircut
I watched 3:42 on repeat like 20x! Wow 😯 Auroras speech is so much clearer 👏🏽
Looks like a game night table to me! I could see a good game of battle ship on it.🚢
Advise is to use a folder - expanding file - (not the ones that you have to punch holes in, but the ones with division sections that you can stuff notes in. So what I do in college and useful in school to is have one section with planer, one section exam pad and then label the others for each subject) this allows you too keep everything easy on hand. Easy and light and I wish someone had told me that sooner.
Your family brings me happiness and joy! 🥰❤️🩹
Luke looks so good without the moustache
Kylie made a beautiful custom made table for Shelley, I'm sure she could make a beautiful one for you too
I too am a retired teacher and your generosity is appreciated many teachers spend their own money to buy school supplies for needy children
Luke looks even cuter in this vlog!! 🤭
Omg Auroras speech is coming along great! I understood her perfectly when she said "mom, I want that"
Y’all should use an app and scan your receipts to get money! Such a great idea!
Yes!
I said the same thing everything is like 50 cents at Walmart. Dollar tree everything 1$ . Walmart is so much cheaper
Plus, most of the stuff you get at dollar store usually has less for your money. Less sheets of paper etc. Filler store is almost always a rip off. The one exception I've found is kids valentine's cards.
Omg I was thinking the same. Like ohh nooo things are for cents at Walmart during back to school season and the rest of the yr maybe dollar tree will be cheaper but definitely not now
And staples has notebooks and stuff for 25 & 50 cents!!!
How different does Luke look i didnt recognise him at first with no glasses and a shave 😂😂
I love you guys you have made me feel Betty about my self I went through so of the foster care stuff and never met my dad and didn’t live with my mom for the longest time I do now and I’m happy just watching you videos makes me feel like I’m there love you all❤️❤️
Put your coffee table close to the front door when kids comes home from school all the back packs can go on be they go to their rooms you know they'll head to the kitchen for a snack before going to their rooms...that's the first think that pop in my head back packs all in one place
THIS IS THE FIRST VID OF YOURS IVE SEEN AND I LOOKED THROUGH THE ACCOUNT AND EVERYONE HERE SEEMS SO NICE AND I LOVE THE BIG FAMILY AND HOW YOU HELP FOSTER AND ADOPT KIDS I LPVE YOU SO MUCH
I love them too! They’re such a great family 💗
it’s the best! no joke!
Crystal: “Hey Max, are you excited to school supplies shop?”
Max: “ No “
💀💀💀

I just started a collection of Funko pop. Bad me!!!! My daughter works at Walmart too!!! Hahahaha!!!! We are so in trouble!!!! 😀😃😄😁😆😅😂🤣
when you dont have a locker you grab a big binder and fill it with lose leaf and use dividers. life savor. when i mean big i mean big. but then its the only thing you have to carry around.
Just watched Crazy Middles backpack tour!!
Same
Are they the same families or no
Me too!! Lol
@@janetramirezgonzalez8737 yes Crystal is Shelly sister
@@janetramirezgonzalez8737 yes, all of the kids are cousins!
Lucas looks really cute without glasses
We in South Africa had no lockers in school. I am 30yrs unemployed life sucks and watching yourl make me Happy
In my school we don’t have lockers so in my bag I have to carry everything and even a iPad in my bag and it’s so heavy btw love your videos.
We have chrome books instead of iPads and I know how heavy the bags are🤣
In my school we only use lockers at break and lunch and this was before corona we have to carry everything and it ain’t that hard to be honest some days it can be but not all the time
@@IslamicLofMilly yes in my school before covid we didn’t use them but with an iPad in your bag it makes them much heavier
@@rebekkahbelcher117 yes it’s ridiculous how heavy they are
@@laceybamber6298 In my school we’re not allowed iPads or laptops but I think when I go to college if I decide to take it it will be heavier
I love that your kids get an extras of their things so that they can share it to their friends 🥺❣️
It’ll be ok y’all. I have to carry my stuff around too. But this year they cut down our lists for books since we have to buy those. Going digital. But my advice would be only carry the things you need for classes that day. (I’m a junior). Trust me my back thanked me after I started doing that💀
Coffee table would be great for someone’s bench at end of their bed.Sit on as you dress.🥰
Have a blessed day everyone ❣️
Arianas little sass about her pencils is freaking funny, I kept rewatching and laughing 😂😂
Getting a “deal” isn’t always a good deal!!! You get what you pay for!! Lol
Exactly
They have a lot of kids so they’re probably trying to save money
Lockers are a luxury!! I didn't have lockers either!! And I carried alot of stuff in my backpack then my instrument for band all around campus. They will get over the not having lockers lol.
buy another piece of that coffee table. place each in front of each "side" of the expansive sofa. :)
And stack them! Lol
Put them the other direction even on each half of the couch since there’s even a divider in the couch
I was a senior in 2009 and we also did the kid backpacks. Mainly because they were very cheap and actully huge. Mine was Bob the builder
That was such a low stress school supplies haul! Well done!
Lucas looks so great without his glasses and new haircut!!!!!
Luke is so handsome! I just saw his face without the glasses he looks so good!
and news hair style look great
And he shaved the mustache thingy.
In the UK, we don't get lockers and the day I really hated was when you had PE and cooking on the same day. Then you had to carry your books on top of that too.
You could take items back to the dollar tree. You just can’t get a refund back to you. You need to exchange for a new item. In case you didn’t know! =]
I’ve gotten a refund from them before
@@smilebehappy6102 yes exactly I know I have returned for a refund before.
No lockers?! Haha that’s crazy to me. I feel there pain I had a locker in high school. I can’t imagine not having one for all my books.
y’all guys are amazing, i love your videos, i’ve been watching them all day. your family makes me want to adopt foster care kids in the future. ❤️
As someone from California where schools never have lockers I was shocked about them being shocked about the school not having lockers 😫 (I know some schools out here have lockers but in my experience I’ve never seen lockers in a school only in movies and stuff lol)
I love you guys and Aurora’s speech is getting so much better
Wait Lucas looks good in today’s video he had a glow up over night
The girl boss notebook Luke was holding was SENDING ME 🤣 it was perfect
Aurora starts speaking clearly now😍'I want that' 😀
Thank you for taking us on your schoolsupplies journey.
The “thank you” after Ariana was finish singing “one mo chance” 😂😂😂😂 lmao 9:07
I graduated from high school in the valley a few years ago and there are no lockers anywhere but for PE/dance!! I never had any issues with it, you rarely ever have to carry books because there are kept as a set in classroom.
I live in Italy and here we don’t have lockers lol, I think they are just an American thing😂
Americans barley use lockers either lol it’s just a thing in movies.
We have them in Sweden, when I was younger >12 we had drawers, and then 13+ we had lockers
Grocery stores usually carry school supplies at discount this time of year too!
Brody when Aurora is asking for bubbles * puts hand on head * as if yo say “ chill sissy “ 😆😆
Thank you for supporting teachers! We appreciate those small details!
