0:17: 🧴 Review of new CeraVe skin care products including a cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen.
3:44: ✨ CeraVe's oil cleanser is a great option for those who don't like residue or oiliness, while their ultra light moisturizing gel is a lightweight and hydrating option with niacinamide.
6:06: 🧴 The X skincare routine includes a lightweight moisturizer and a hybrid sunscreen.
9:37: 🌞 The CeraVe Resistant Formula sunscreen contains niacinamide and has a subtle white cast, making it suitable for sensitive skin but may not work well for deeper skin tones.
12:39: 🌞 The new CeraVe sunscreen is an upgrade from their previous product, with easier application and water resistance.
15:38: 🧴 The speaker recommends CeraVe PM for skincare routine and praises the effectiveness of the new hybrid sunscreen and cleanser.

I’ve been using the cleanser for more than a year (Europe) and it’s great. It’s much more gentle and «hydrating» than the hydrating cleanser. I was initially disappointed that it wasn’t an oil cleanser per se, but that disappointment didn’t last as it does everything I want it to. I typically rinse twice with it just to be safe, and sometimes use the SA cleanser as the second cleanser. I am an impatient person when it comes to cleansers and this one clicks all the buttons. Fast, gentle, removes everything easily👌 I have one in my shower and one by the sink. Affordable and great!

I used a line from Neutrogena for years, but it seems like they either stopped making it or it was kept out of stores during the supply chain issues a few years ago. 6:16 i bought this after pausing in versed gel cream. It worked wonders for me during the winter but recently it’s been stinging my face a lot now that it’s summer. I like that this ultra light weight moisturizer is fixing my barrier and makes my skin feel great.😁 I am a combo oily and acne prone

I'm glad I watched this before buying the CeraVe Oil Cleanser! I was hoping it would be a value/budget friendly oil cleanser option for double cleansing, but I think I'm going to pass on it now knowing it's more of gel. Thank you for your thorough reviews!

I very much appreciate Dr. Dray's honest review of the CeraVe products, which I find at Wegman's. I am not a fan at all of the sunscreens, and I thank Dr. Dray for demonstrating that the new hybrid formulation still leaves a white cast. Dr. Dray's bottom lip says it all.

I got curious about Cerave's foaming oil cleanser after watching this video and ended up buying it. I was using Cerave's foaming cleanser as I have combination and acne-prone skin and the hydrating one is just too heavy for me. However, the foaming cleanser was sometimes drying and I didn't feel like I could use it more than once a day if I needed to. This foaming oil cleanser is perfect for me. Dr Dray is right, it is not oily at all. It is a very lightweight gel with some squalene oil that leaves your skin clean and soft. Possibly the best cleanser I've ever had for my problematic skin.

Please could you do a video on why some people cannot use Cerave and some people can? If you know of any reason. I have never reacted well to any of the products, haven't used for a few years and thought I'd try the foaming oil cleanser yesterday...instant bad reaction to it! After exploring forums I've found a lot of people experience issues with Cerave as a brand with irritation, burning, congestion, texture, reactions etc. I can't understand why it is and would love to see a video exploring this 😊

I’m so glad you did a review on the new cleanser! I use CeraVe Hydrating facial cleanser for normal to dry skin, which I use for my AM routine. For my PM, I use Vanicare after my first cleanse. The new cleanser will be my next purchase, so I can use for my AM and PM routine.

    • @lauracosta7856

The normal to dry CeraVe cleanser is a creamy cleanser that doesn’t foam up. Since I double cleanse with my p.m. routine I use Vanicream to help wash off the make up and sunscreen off from my face. The reason I use the CeraVe cleanser in the AM because its active ingredients.

I do use and love cerave, however I did try this product and I found it to be drying on my skin. I tried the new oil cleanser by laroche posay and that one did not make my face dry at all and took all sunscreen and makeup off. So for anyone out there who wants a similar experience and cerave may feel to drying for you check out laroche posay.

The cleanser is not an oil cleanser, but I suspect it's the company's version of the Avene XeraCalm A.D Lipid Replenishing Cleansing Oil - also not an oil cleanser - at half the price. I've switched to the Cerave from the Avene. Half the cost and without the slightly sticky Avene consistency.

I have used the foaming oil cleanser for over a year now. I love it. I use it for face and body. I agree with the misleading “oil cleanser” name. When you look up reviews it’s rated really low because people think it’s a traditional oil cleanser but it’s actually a very gentle foaming cleanser. If they had marketed it that way it would have much better reviews. It cleanses my skin, removes water resistant sunscreen without stripping and does a good job on body too. I don’t wear makeup so I can’t speak to that but it’s a HG for me.

I am one of those who would love a single cleanser, as i don't wear makeup, just water resistant sunscreen, so will try this. I've used the Avene Xera Calm oil cleanser,as the first step in a double cleanse, but does'nt remove sunscreen well, so am using Hada labo oil, which has always been a winner. Thanx for reviewing- most helpful.😊
