I've spent most of my life blaming others and my lack of Luck.
I became bitter, resentful and empty.
Only when I chose to try has hard I could, at every key aspect of my life, that I learned: "the world doesn't owe me anything".
It took me 4 years of struggle and planning, but I changed my life! Never again shall I become comfortable in my own misery! I Will fight until I die!
There's a version of myself that is still stagnant. Still addicted to bad habits and still refusing to accept responsiblilty.
Each day accepting responsibility makes me better because i am not that version of me.

I have to admit, my parents didn't do a good job teaching me assertiveness so this speaks volumes to me. I feel compelled to please others, to the point where I sometimes let them overplay their hand, and instead of pushing back I just walk away.
If I ever have kids, one of the many essential things I teach them will be that it's important to be kind and respectful, but when someone is deliberately making you feel uncomfortable you no longer have any obligation to make them feel comfortable. All part of the reprogramming process, I guess.

I fell hard the last couple months. I've been thinking of ending it constantly lately. Ive seen you post a few videos but haven't really watched. Ive ruined the best parts of my life and myself. When you reach the bottom you can only go up, but Ive just reached a new bottom. The song on the radio played while i was looking at my friend's grave, the lyrics are on his gravestone. I want to believe it was a sign from him, and now I'm watching your videos. I'm gonna try again tomorrow and try to pull myself together once again. Thanks again Gravemind.

This title reminds me of the 12-step suite written by Mike portnoy of dream theater, where he details his story of alcoholism through five songs. The 12th step being "responsible." I have used those songs in my own way to improve my life and I can't wait to see what this video brings.

This fine gentlemen changed my life when he brought me to Psycho Cybernetics. Read some books damnit! They'll change your life!
