It's quite sad that most people know queen only for their greatest hits, it seems like not enough people appreciate their other, underrated classics like the millionaire waltz or March of the black queen and spread your wings and Brighton rock etc. I mean yeah their hits are really awesome songs but I think their other great songs deserve praise. for me, there aren't many queen songs I don't like
Matt Potter the only complaint that I’ve ever heard of ADATR is that it’s uninspired, and I realise that while no entirely right, they weren’t wrong, I then realised that it while it didn’t feel inspired, it felt original and polished. Since then I’ve come to think of ADATR as one of Queen’s most interesting Albums.
So saddened that I missed Queen at their beginning. I would have followed them forever. Instead, I'm following them now, sans Freddie - R.I.P. All of the members are KILLER QUEEN

Those “medleys” are the fucking best. Whenever I see any of those on youtube I literally stop whatever Im doing and listen the shit out of them. BTW no other band has something similar, or at least close to being as good as Queen’s. Best live band ever.

the bass playing is amazing - john could track fred on the piano with fluid bass runs that are way beyond the capability of the average rock bassist. Mcartney is the only other bass player who could do this - this isnt an average rock band - they were the four best musicians england had to offer since the beatles split. in my opinion they carried on where the fab four left off. Opera and Races are Abbey Road and the white album for the 70s. Some bands are just light years ahead of the rest

John Deacon is extremly underrated to which everyone is very much indept and has alot owing to him eh, its such a shame queen are continuing on with out what id say are the two members that defined Queen and who they were and sounded, and just that whole chemistry that they had built after the 22 years they stood by each other for eh thats what made queen a truly a great band (original rock band) with led zep. John Deacon you are the MAN and we miss you very much!!!!! a true humble ledgend!!!!

This is when Deacon drops the Fender P-bass for a Musicman Stingray of which this was one of the first ever produced - They gave it to him. He uses this for a few years then goes back to the Fender - Don't know why
I totally agree "my fine friend" ;) As a bass player he's just incredible! (He composed bites the dust, brick back leroy brown, friends will be friends, and listen to the line in bring back that leroy brown, seaside rendez-vous, good company, breakthru, innuendo and so many songs!) But he's so dicret (I'm a french guy, do not know if "discret exists sorry...) and he deserves so much better...Cheers!
god john's a talented bastard. someone told me that another one bites the dust was voted the best bassline ever, i think this bassline is technically amazing. absolutely brilliant musician, really miss him.
