- I'm guessing these are outtakes from the Behind the Music episode on Heart...So this interview's probably from 1997 or 1998. Nancy gets candid about Starting out and Joining the band and Writing hit songs. :)

retsevlis: Yes, life is funny that way, but...there are also many cosmetic enhancements available. LOL! I have a friend who looks 20 younger than she did ten years ago and it's all about Botox and line fillers. To Nancy's credit, she's very fit, but the face does what it does, and women in their 60s can't look 35 without some help. So all I am saying is - don't beat yourself up if you're 60 and don't look the way they do. Enjoy!

It's amazing looking back now of my introduction to Heart. I was in the Navy onboard an aircraft carrier and off the coast of Catania, Sicily and a shipmates received his issue of Rolling Stone and these girls were on the cover. I listened to Crazy on you over and over. They were and are part of my life. Dream Boat Annie album was very ocean in nature and I really related to that. Thanks Heart.
I was in the Navy on shore, then ... just north of your ship, Sal. Naples, Italy ... A few miles of separation ... received the most mail in my entire division. Commander-in-Chief's Mess, Cincsouth Allied Forces Southern Europe. Once in a lifetime. I'd call the mess each day I was off duty to see if all the mags were still in the box ... little blighters you to filch Rolling Stone, et cetera ... oh, well

Hi NatureGirl. I am actually a 41 yr old Black male. I was just observing that the Wilson Sisters in current interviews come off more youthful. More like they are Ann-52 and Nancy 46 even though Ann is 62 and Nancy is 58.

Such a wonderful story. I played in various bands in my home town and surrounding cities and wether or not you make it famous , all the band stories seem to start out some what the same. Young full of hopes and dreams, and just focusing on the music and the best you can be .love stories like this. And these girls are super talented. Always one of my favorites. And one of a kind.
