OHMYGOD HEY!
I recently travelled to New York for the very first time with my boyfriend Aeron James to see just over 20 shows in 2 weeks.
We came back with a huge amount of merchandise from over a dozen shows including WICKED, BEETLEJUICE, FUNNY GIRL, BAD CINDERELLA, SWEENEY TODD, SHUCKED, and more!

Am I the only one dying with laughter every time Aaron almost hits Mickey Jo when holding up a garment.
That made me laugh every time. His face every time a sweater appears above him is priceless.

I love the Playbills. I have a Playbill binder where I keep all of mine. Can’t wait until y’all make another Broadway trip.
I came here to say the same thing about the Playbill binder. I have one and I love having them all together but still being able to look at them all.
I just got back from the Beetlejuice tour! Britney Coleman is Barabara, it's great.
The plushie sandworms are selling like hotcakes, so i'm sure they are still being made for the surprisingly large number of tiny beetlejuice fans.
Also, my orange cat was enraptured by the whistling you did while holding the Titanique playbill. You got a birdcam level of attention from him.
I am SO EXCITED about the Beetlejuice tour! I will look forward to getting my own plushie Sandworm
I saw the tour a week ago! It was so good! It was the first time in a long time (or maybe even forever) that I didn’t see any understudies lol
I have no idea why I've enjoyed watching your NYC trip experience as much as I have.
Impressive haul! Apparently I took our standard sized playbills/programs for granted. I buy frames for my playbills in bulk and have them mounted in a grid on my walls. Differing sizes would drive me crazy
I really enjoy you guys because you have such a positive attitude. You’re great tourists, never had a negative thing to say about anything on you New York/Broadway fling. Good for you….that’s the attitude.

NY is so crazy expensive lol. Makes me appreciate how affordable theatre is in London!

It's actually not that expensive if you know the tricks to get cheap tickets. But yes to tourists and people who have never been it can definitely seem expensive. The last time I was there I saw a lot of popular shows and all orchestra seats for like $60 . So it is possible to get inexpensive tickets, but most people don't go to the actual box office to buy tickets, or don't buy tickets from the cheap theater sites or enter the lottery. Nyc also can be cheap as long as you don't go to the tourist traps for merchandise, food, etc. Highly recommend asking for tips from a local if you plan on visiting
@@kassinwonderland22 It's all relative- even $60 with the poor exchange rate is a lot. I can get front row wicked seats for £29 and see a lot of shows (albeit from the very back) for not much more than £20

16:18 I laughed out loud Mickey when you deferred to Aeron on what the proper colloquialism was for your burgundy Parade shirt and I can confirm it's called a *sweatshirt* over here. If it had a hood it would be a hoodie but no hood makes it an ordinary sweatshirt. Pullover and jumper are 100% British words for what we (United States & Canada) call sweatshirts and hoodies. On this side of the Atlantic a jumper (or jumper dress) is what you in the UK would refer to as a pinafore. Hope that helps! 😊
An entire new wardrobe came back with you how nice :) I think my favorite items are the non black tee shirts (Kimberly, Sweeney) & the pins because I also am a big pin guy. Since BJ is an ally putting the bracelet on the sandworm was a inspired & perfect choice. Also about a half a second before you pointed it out I also yelled at my screen "That's Kerry Butler!" maybe because it was so easy to identify or maybe I was just doing some fanboying who knows.

21! Wow what a great trip. My sister & I went to London last May & got to see 7 shows in 4 days & still got to see the city too😂
What an incredible haul of Broadway merch. It's a wonder it all fit in the suitcases you brought or did you have to buy an extra suitcase or duffle bag to accommodate all the souvenirs?

The cups tend to be my souvenir of choice. You can get a soda and it's $10. Many even give a free refill at intermission. It is the cheapest souvenir. I get so sad when it's just a generic cup.

I love this! I got a free pin for Shucked because I went(for the second time) Tony nominations day and they were giving out pins that say "Yes we corn" with a drawn corn.

This makes me to excited to watch Hamilton at the end of the year. They Australian cast is touring and are coming to my country.
The playbills we have are similar to the British one, so we have to buy the playbill. 🤩
The Beetlejuice sandworm was called Big Sandy in the show but as far as I'm aware they didn't actually sell them at the merch booth - least they didn't at the Winter Garden or online. Maybe they were a tour or post run thing because believe me I used to check their website regularly and drool at the merch I couldn't afford when i saw the show
They sold them at the Marquis and online. :) I decided to opt out when I saw the show, regretted it, then purchased it online.
Great collection. Think I would end up with a lot of stuff if I went to Broadway. Would really like some Parade merch and hope it will come here.

When I get show specific cups, I usually throw away or recycle the lid and just keep the cup. I'm going to lose the lid at some point anyway. LOL.

21 shows impressive, and you have proven your love of theater. Did you have room in your suit case for all that merch or did you have it shipped ?

So just to point something out, I'm an American and yes we have Playbills in our Theatre over here that yes are free but we do actually have brochure programs too. Mickey never once mentions in either the New York Vlogs or here that they have Brochure Programs too like what they have in the UK, I currently have four of them. And while yes he's right that Playbills are usually free, the Brochure Programs you have to pay for. I just wanted to point this out because they way Mickey Jo goes about it, it sounds like we just have Playbills when that's not true.
this made me wonder how much of y'alls wardrobe is musical theatre and/or disney 😂

Disney productions used to have Showbills rather than Playbills, because Playbills would have tobacco advertising and Disney made their own rule against tobacco ads in their products long before there were laws against it. I can't remember exactly when that changed -- around 2005 or so, maybe?
I can confirm that is indeed the wrong lid on the frozen cup lol, I got one from my Broadway trip when I saw it and the lid is blue

My roommate made the Hamilton pins! He's kicking himself for not having made up his own backer cards for them with his name. 😅
He also says, "Did they not get a Playbill binder at the Playbill office?!" Because they sell specially-sized binders for storage of your Playbills. (There's zero chance they'd have fit in your suitcase.)
