The pound-for-pound king is set to reclaim his throne. WBO welterweight world champion Terence “Bud” Crawford will defend his title against former welterweight world champion Kell Brook in a special edition of Top Rank on ESPN Saturday, Nov. 14.
In the world championship co-feature, Joshua “El Profesor” Franco will defend his WBA super flyweight title against former world champion Andrew “The Monster” Moloney in a rematch of their June bout, won by Franco via decision.

Just like he stated. He can’t be legendary until he shares the ring with the names he mentioned like Pacquiao, Spence, Garcia, Thurman and hell even Porter. You can’t go out without fighting at least one or two of the big names in your prime!

seeing this for the first time after knowing what he's accomplished thus far, hearing him say the things he said 2 years ago and looking on the present, damn ..his mindset has to be the strongest as well as his willpower, Errol wasn’t the fight he wanted but he achieved P4P, but down the line he may find the right dancing partner before retirement. I also would like to say that his personality already aspires champion and success.

Those who know boxing and been watching it for years like myself(since 82, seen a lot of great fights as they happened) - man, we know we're watching something special every time we're privileged enough to watch Bud Crawford fight. He's a generational talent and one of the coolest and realest dudes in the sport.
Top Rank needs to do a way better job promoting this guy. We need to see stuff like this year round not just on fight week. This guy will go down as one of the greats and will be talked about for years especially after he gets better opponents. I hope he get's his team in check so he can be promoted properly. He should be a massive star at this point!
@arrowakano You got Shawn Porter out there asking for a fight that he turned down. Keith Thurman wanted smoke but they didn't want to negotiate. Boots wants a fight. So has options! They can still push him even if what you say is true. Just keep him in front of fans, with interviews, guest appearances, etc.

Gamboa was in his prime when he fought bud and got destroyed, tank and Haney sent 12 rounds with him when he was washed up
Wasn't in his prime but was a much better gamboa than what Tank and Haney fought. Gamboa would've beat a lesser opponent but only Crawford could've did that to that Gamboa
Gamboa came up in weight to fight Crawford and people questioned why was Bud fighting him in the first place. Gamboa was already rocked and dropped in his lower weight division before he fought Bud.
crawford was also a huge dude at 135 fighting gamboa who came up from 126... nowadays gamboas body is more adjusted to 135 so he feels the power less
Crawford was 159 on Fight Night and on his way to 140 Gamboa had just moved up for the fight and damn near knocked Bud out in the ninth

This guy is the real deal! Complete boxer and a good person. Versitile style and he backs up his talking. He is underrated. He is by far, the best boxer as compared to other champs. He is really good.
"Bud's" ability to switch hit is just sublime. Moving from orthodox to southpaw with such ease is a quality that very few fighters in history let alone the elite level can perform. Crawford doesn't lose speed nor power and that's something special. The only other fighter I've seen do it is Mike Tyson.
Marvin Hagler is a great one too.

Finally a quality interview with Crawford. Crawford called out all the top Welterweight fighters as soon as he got Undisputed at 140 but non, not even one of his Critics mention that. Without a doubt I am a Crawford fan because he does what he says he's going to do in the ring and he NEVER dodges another fighter. He called guys out and they said "Crawford has to get a belt and prove himself in the division before he gets a fight." Crawford got the belt and they are still dodging him.
