Thank you so much for watching. Yes, the restaurants open on a rotating basis with as many as two being open on the same evening. One of our issues were with the reservations we made at check-in. We made our reservations for the week when we checked in but somehow the front desk attendant mixed every one of them up in the system. So for our first dinner reservation we were placed on the standby list and was able to get a table because some of the guests didn’t show up. With that being said we think making the reservations at check-in is fine however double check that everything is correct before leaving the front desk . And ultimately what happens is guests will make reservations and only about half to three quarters of the people would show up allowing everyone on the standby list to be seated (they would just have to wait an extra 10-15 minutes before getting a table). When we brought up the issues about the reservations to the manager it was then she offered to give us our own private dinner on the day of our anniversary. So in our case in an odd way the front desk mix up allowed us to have an even greater experience. ❤️
@@HollyG95 I’m not sure what they called it but the menu was different from the other restaurants on the property. The food was decent however the entire experience was extraordinary from the private restaurant to the private waiter it was most remarkable.
S Hotel 5 star upscale resort!! Stayed there last year, customer service is excellent!! I will definitely go back! Don’t forget the Bob Marley rum drinks 🍹 Happy Anniversary 🎉🥂

This year we're celebrating 29 yrs and I wanted to book something more intimate. This is exactly what we were looking for. What room type did you have, the mini king or King?
@@lindamv4391 good catch. That is where the jerk chicken, burgers, fries and other “lunch” items were. I think I tried the jerk chicken from there once maybe twice. We just decided to eat inside at the buffet most of the time.
Hello 1). You mentioned top floor Oceanview suite are the elevators slow? 2). What did you think about the the Oceanview suite with private cabana on the 1st floor? Which would you suggest? Thank you
@@lindamv4391 at certain times of the day like check-in and check-out the elevators could be a little slow. I thought about having our room switched half way through to experience the private cabana suite. But every time we wanted a cabana one was open so we just kept the original top floor suite.

Thank you for watching and we certainly did have a good time. The 2 complimentary drinks are from a beach bar/small restaurant on Doctors Cave beach which is actually separate from the hotel. The two businesses worked out an arrangement for S Hotel guests to get a couple of drinks while on the beach (albeit a limited selection) which is technically a public beach.

Yes, although it wasn’t a whole lot of people doing it. For those that were the hotel seemed cool with 💨🍃 on the balcony, on the beach and even by the pool.
We didn’t see a “specific” tour desk but I’m sure either the front desk or concierge would be able to help you. Almost every taxi driver and security guard we ran in to either did tours themselves or knew someone with a company that did tours. Also we saw the Chukka tour bus at the hotel picking up or dropping off, all through the day.
I’m not sure. All of the restaurants have specific hours with only the cafe being open 24 hours. I imagine they could accommodate you depending on your request.
I kept hearing about it and I have to admit I was a little disappointed that I didn’t get to taste it. But I’ve never seen the inside of a fast food restaurant with that many people. That alone tells you the food is great 👍🏾

I am going to try this HOTEL. I have stayed at the Sunset Beach hotel many of years ago and a villa in IRON SHORE a few years ago.
How were they? Maybe we have to look at those when we return.

Yes, although it wasn’t a whole lot of people doing it. For those that were the hotel seemed cool with 💨🍃 on the balcony, on the beach and even by the pool.
Does the hotel have a tour desk
We didn’t see a “specific” tour desk but I’m sure either the front desk or concierge would be able to help you. All 3 of the restaurants, the buffet, snack bar and cafe are included.
Do they have 24 hour room service or certain time frame for room service?
I’m not sure. All of the restaurants have specific hours with only the cafe being open 24 hours. I imagine they could accommodate you depending on your request.
Breakfast close at 10:30am. Lunch start at 12 noon. They have outside grilling with flies covering the food.
KFC in Jamaica is the BEST!!
