Learn how I transformed an ordinary pair of dress shoes to incorporate a fully functional spy otf knife knife! With just a flick of the shoe a 4 inch blade will pop out from the toe. This device is similar to the ones in Batman warn by the joker, as well as the shoe knife in the Kingsman. Warning, this project is very dangerous and should not be copped. Enjoy the video!

I was litterally thinking of making these shoes BEFORE I saw this video. I searched knife shoes and found this. GIMME DEM SHOES
Hmmm adding some studs in the flat part of the foot would be nice if you're doing Taekwondo. Then put some studs on the heel. That way there's more force in the kick like putting brass knuckles for the foot. Usually use the flat part of the foot or the heel. In the case you're doing Muay Thai maybe put spikes or studs on the shin bone, maybe with shin guards under your pants.
too bad your not like an actually shoe maker then u could have made like an alternate soul that hides the blade better

I'm so happy, you built what I suggested. I've been wanting to build this for awhile and it was nice seeing what you did. Also the shoe knife I believe started in the CIA and was popularized in the original bonds as shoes worn by 2, 3, and 4.

It might be possible to remove the entire sole of the shoe, and rout out the insert from the other side so that the blade can extend without making the shoes look butchered on the underside.

why don't you ever really use a dremel? it would make the cuts a lot cleaner
I've seen several versions of these shoes and my personal favorite are boots where a slightly thicker version of the blade comes out of the heel. Aesthetically I just find them to be more appealing they
make a cane that you can pull out a sword.

This is an awesome idea. I think a double action as opposed to a single action Out The Front Knife would give you a few more options also hot glue doesn't have that great of a tensile strength and 2 part epoxy would really hold everything a lot better. But the basic proof of concept works now we could improve your kicking techniques slightly. Overall very well done

I remember the first time I saw this gadget was in Will Smith's movie Wild Wild West..sure it didn't get much use in that movie or rarely in any movie it shows up in but it's still a pretty cool little gadget that you could see a spy using...then you got the versions where the blade it also a ballistic knife and they can launch it as they kick..though I've only seen THAT one in an old PS2 game.

I know this video was from 5 years ago, but a more modern vesrion of this could be made with the Microtech Exocet...blade fits the joker/kingsman blade profile a bit better and is much much smaller. Cool video!
