Thanks for this! I never got around to revisiting the Polaris Lance + Dawn Chorus combo since this isn't a solar season, so it's nice to see you showcase the build
Hey Tizzle, big fan. An interesting idea I had for a video (or a series) would be for you to take a single build and show how you would adapt it for different content. For example, you mentioned because this was a GM, you didn't need healing nades and empyrean because you're not trying to stay alive in the thick of every thing. So maybe you take a single exotic (like Dawn Chorus) and show how you would use it running seasonal content, running onslaught, running GMs, etc. I've always been intrigued by the idea of having one build that can do it all - maybe there's still some truth to that if you create variations of the same build. Just an idea!
One way they can make Daybreak a more favorable option than SoF is if they just gave it back it’s refunded super energy on kills that they unfairly took away, and maybe even re-enabling the boosted burst glide speed during super.
They should bring it to prismatic warlock needs something I'm not 100% sure exactly what but our current roaming supers are not that great.....SOF is but caught a small nerf and doesn't get the fast cooldown
They just need it to deal more damage in general. To bosses and every other enemy type. SoF will ALWAYS come out on top, even if Dawnblade gets its super refund back solely due to the fact that you can use your weapons to weave in a damage rotation while using SoF. Stormtrance/Arc warlock has this issue in general, similar to Daybreak since even with the damage buffs to both chaos reach and stormtrance, the damage is piddly against everything except red bars.
@ daybreak deals enough damage with Dawn Chorus. What it needs is a reason to be used instead of SoF, something like its old extended super energy on kill.
I wish Dawn Chorus also improved scorch stacks by 10% or something. The increased scorch damage makes people incorrectly take it for ignition builds, yet the exotic is more prevalent when you actually don’t cause ignitions. I believe it would see a lot more usage if it also caused more ignitions whilst also dealing good scorch damage when you’re not igniting things, which is almost never anyways.
I hear ya there on the burnout. I stopped playing D2 a little over a year ago. I was tired of everything. I decided to come back and try it about a week ago and nothing has changed lol. I've been enjoying your build videos.
ah yes infinite ignitions except i miss my shots and my fireteam leaves me and i end up alone in space and boom tizzle's new video pops up, giving me infinite confidence and infinite ignitions except i miss my shots...... Cool shit tho. I really love watching these videos where you use the "buffed" exotic weapons and make the gms look like a vanguard op. ALSO IRON BANANA SANDBOX TESTING WEN???
Doomfangs would be really good this week for this gm. Only problems is not being able to stun the champs in super. If you have teammates it’s not much of a problem
honestly i’ve been using the void adaptive linear fusion from the dawning with my envious bait and switch for some safer dps without potentially wasting shots or blowing myself up. i’ll definitely be usuing this built tho it’s been tearing up master lost sectors
Love that you made this build! It was my go to for season of the wish and I'm excited to try it with hellion. For the big shields, i tested with revision zero and its anti barrier properties let it shoot theoigh the sheild to pop the center. Not sure if using the seasonal artifcat for anti barrier scout would do the same here? Will test later tonight.
I was always a daybreak fan and a Polaris lance fan. Unfortunately I just can't use the lance anymore and I have been rocking the same build but with 1K voices (auto reload from GL hit has been amazing)
Daybreak and dawn chorus really is some of the most fun you can have on warlock. It only sucks against anti barrier and overloads while in super but it’s not the worst.
I wonder if phoenix dive is better overall for this build. At the end when your health was getting low, you could have done a quick phonix dive to get a health bump and then keep going. The fact that you get phoenix dive very often with this build, maybe that offsets not having a healing rift?
yeah phoenix dive is great. I just went with healing rift since I figured I would be stationary plinking away with polaris lance. But it does have a shorter cooldown, so would get more hellion procs
Also strongly recommend skyburners oath surprisingly , its basically a mobile version of Polaris lance , i like both depending on how fast the content is.
I use Char instead of Torches since it's a 20 swing in ability points and helps with packs of mobs at a distance. I was previously using Sunshot but this season swapped in Polaris for the Champion benefits. It's a decent build whenever there are lots of solar shields. Since my focus is less on melee I use Bolstering and Firepower on the gloves to really play into the enhanced Solar grenade.
This Nightfall this week can be run solo and farmed lower level as theirs no insta-wipe fairly simply. Deterministic Chaos Lmg with built in Anti-barrier is useful as theirs plenty of heavy ammo and Void boost. Polaris is solid but slightly nerfed without surge & not as potent as last year. Attrition orbs on a primary goes hard too. I also recommend Iron Banner Expunge as it helping me with burnout this week so far and there's lots of pvp seasonal challenges that reward a lot of bright dust. ✌
Personally I love Incandescent timeworn wayfarer. If you're specifically wanting to build into helion run it with strategist but I personally prefer enhanced dual loader. People don't seem to realize that the origin trait applies weapon damage so with Incandescent this is one of the best ignition weapons in the game and the hand cannon and pulse can nuke adwaves with voltshot without spending the perk so you can compete with jolting feedback weapons in uptime and spreading damage. Trustee is also a good option for ability energy from indirect and direct damage ticks and some good perk combos like pugilist and Incandescent.
@ I tried it today and I got all the way to the final part of the boss fight and died because I had 30 seconds till darkness encroached and I panicked😂. Woulda been my second ever solo GM. lanecap and icebreaker go burrr
No supers stunning all Champions wouldn't be OP. Champions were never a good "endgame" enhancer nor were they a well implemented system so now that they're finally making new modifiers, adding banes, and we're basically getting the nightfall card back Champions have no place and should be removed.
A bit late on this, but I feel like consecration titan is really stale so I would really like a super fun iff meta build with an underrated exotic that could still perform an endgame if that’s a challenge you would be up to
My team made it to the final boss shield phase and all of the adds spawned with the boss inside the shield. Damn near impossible to stay alive let alone break the shield. No hunter lol
Bungie wants you to interact with others and make friends, not continue to play their massive multi-player online game solo. Thats why they added text chat and LFG but they are adding a solo playlist at some point so if you want to continue to be a loner at least you'll have a playlist made for you. I'm not trying to be a dick, trust me, I wish I could do playlist strikes, map strikes, all seasonal content, and all annual event content with matchmaking off and be able to turn off seeing randoms in patrol because blueberries have a bad tendency to just get in the way of what you're trying to accomplish but by the same token I've met some of my favorite people through lfg and have had more fun gaming with them than just brute forcing my way through content soloing it.
GM Behemoth. Not to be confused with Codename Behemoth or the Behemoth subclass.
Also not to be confused with "my blind date was a behemoth"
I love that this is a constant with destiny naming stuff lol

I LOVE this exotic. Thanks for showcasing it! I used it to solo flawless Warlord’s Ruin
Still can leave that cage in warlords ruin .
You gotta love popping a roaming super only to see Champs pop barrier...
Then you just sit there and watch your super go into the trashcan
And that’s why song of flame exists.

Ever since you talked about dawn chorus in the outbreak perfected video, it is my go to for most rough content.
Very classy, honest & educational video. Thank you for the upload and build info.

I used to use dawn corus a lot. I forget Helion is added to the basic solar kit now. Kinda crazy how good solar warlock is
Dawn Chorus has always been a long favorite and real ones remember the speed run of old Dawn Chorus+Bottom Dawnblade on Hollowed Lair
Let’s go love Dawn chorus I’ve been using again for the past couple months. Cooks with helion!

The problem with the game is that solo players have a tuff time with the harder content so it's frustrating and not fun🙄

Such engaging gameplay. Sit far back and plink away with scout. And people wonder why destiny is dead 😂
Another reason is parts of the community like you complaining about everything. It's a play style. Nobody forces you to play the same way.
Yeah someone choosing to play that way in a solo GM is why the game is dying.
@@TheBigSlugger I doubt that rushing in headfirst is a viable strategy in a solo gm
