Ben the trombone soloist works as a tech at my highschool and my friend everyday is always playing it and in front of him😂. We got him to play it for us one time to. Love his solo one of the best things ive ever heard if not the best.
Why is everyone talking about the trombone solo but not the MULTIPLE trumpet solos!? Omg those trumpet solos (same person) were AMAZING! Props to whoever that was 🫡🫡🫡
BECAUSE THE TROMBONE SOLO WAS SO GODLYYYYYYY 😍😍😍😍😍 I was seriously in LOOOOOOVVVEEEEEE with how the guy did it. Phantom regiment was the corp who sparked my joy and love for Band honestly. Their performance was SOOOO outstanding in 2008 and this yr omggggg I am beyond amazed by their performance!!
That Trombone solo at the beginning hits sooooo hard!!! I saw it in person at Murfreesboro and i swear it was like 90° and 100%humidity and that solo and this show in general made me forget it was hot.
The SUTA at the company front was VERY loud at finals. I wish we could hear it on the video. Phantom is back, baby. It’s been a steady climb since 2021 when they saved the world for drum corps as we know it.
Just rock solid to me!! The brass was absolutely amazing and definitely deserved better placement but it is what it is I suppose. I love how they actually march and play and still have the power at the same time which makes it even more amazing!!! I’m not saying they ever stop to play but they definitely play a lot more while marching than other top 10 corps from my perspective. Bravo guys and gals !!!
Hearing Muse's "Supremacy" by the phenomenal Phantom Regiment will go down in one of my favorite moments seen so far. 😍😭😍 So amazing... so many chills!!!
Phantom Regiment is GOATED!! This show has a certain life pumping through that not many other corps could match. It is always a treat to come and listen to this show.
Legit question for those who saw them live, were they the loudest?? The recording sure sounds like they had another volume level that nobody else had. The pre closure sound is like the early 90s when they were like a wall of sound with the low brass. Really love how they tied these theme to that music. Bravo kids, really brought the emotion out of that music.
Yeah they are kinda loud, but some had microphones on their instruments to be heard, like thay trumpet in the beginning. But over all yes they are very loud.
Devils are the loudest. They amp the entire hornline to louder than any other corp, and they ALL amp to some degree. BD was so loud at San Antonio that I almost couldn’t distinguish notes.
@@liamallen2156 BD did seem loud for the opener. But the entire hornline is not amped lol, a few soloists have mics bud. The only time the mics are even "hot" is during solos. Otherwise all you would hear is a few horns covering up the rest of the brass. Further, the latency between the wireless mics and sound board would cause a delay so it would be impossible to play in time. I'm not talking about that few moments where mics are used. Phantom wasn't mic'd for the closer power chords anymore than BD was.
@@brown55061 You know like every corp these days has mics set up on the sideline right?
