all devices are already produced in big quantities and modifications by chinese companies, the prices significantly lower than originals
11/18/16, Ryno/MotoPogo; other than just a novelty if they cost anything like a segway these things are hardly practical. I mean who's gonna buy such a thing to ride on often less than perfect pavement, in traffic? Sidewalks are out of the question. You can't carry anything, what do you do, wear a backpack?
I am riding EUC or almost 2 ars. On my NINEBOT ONE E I broke in 18 month 7.000 km driven. I dont know any better pereonal transporter than the EUC.

This device is very interesting. I would like to be a local dealer of this in my county! I live in Pagosa Springs ,CO----- I believe that in my area there is a BIG need for these . Can it be driven legally in the BICYCLE LANE? Do we need a license?
I’ve seen very busy bicycle lanes where there was a stream of bicycles unable to pass one another in the city. The hoverboard would have to be in that line up. But in smaller rural places they would work well.

Its a shame these designs ignore the balance/ dexterity challenged ie; the huge senior market.

Ryno kind of suffers from design identity issues. He made it kind of look like a motorcycle, but it's usage is like an electric bike. The end result is that it looks all dorky.
I challenge any one to cut internet phone tv and any tech use for more that a month.

The guy with the monocycle invented the transformer type of bike that went from mono wheel to motorcycle I wonder what happened to that?

The problem will not be in the using but in the licensing, insurance, everything you need to drive a regular car, you will need to drive ANY kind of POWERED vehicle that is not muscle powered.
Not true. You can operate an ebike - a kind of POWERED vehicle, only muscle powered theoretically (pedals are really nothing but a decoration, the electric motor does all the job) - without a license, insurance, registration, license plate etc. All you need is a DOT-approved helmet and at least 16 years of age.
I see a monobike and I think of the bikes from the anime Venus Wars. The Ryno doesn't go as fast as those monobikes.

Hoverboard? You gotta be kidding me. Electric motor and lights. Where do you plan on keeping the batteries? In a backpack? Otherwise you won't have enough power to go a hundred feet.
So the Ryno Bike guy was basically saying that they stole the idea from a video game, eh? (oh, and it's not a bike. The B-I in bike means two, as in two wheels. This is a self balancing, electric uni-cycle.)
These are all slow and booring compared to the fastest euc's ;)

In my state, the Ryno would have to be street legal and licensed. IT would also have to be on the street and is not able to be run on the sidewalk. I like the design, and even more like the reason it was designed. Perhaps his daughter will be motivated to enter into a STEM field as an adult.
Hover board would be great I could ride it every where I live in a RV park and a small town of around 3000. It would be great to show it off here in my town. Ronald.
#1 the rino, just needed a small chain belt non steer style extender ready for sharp up hills and most awesome to attempt, climing up&down stairs,then it could go ANYWHERE on ground, in the exception of that blunt metal front stand, also an added option front wheel could make it accessible to very high speed for the tilting reason. Almost the same for #4 topic, that bike was too big to be that slow.
Devices are mostly all right, but please, spare me the long seconds looking to the faces of the "inventors". Some time they are displayed even longer than the very inventions they try to introduce to the public
One wheel with gyro , you reinvented the wheel literary . I hope future scooters, motorbikes will adopt this space saving technology.
Just amazing auto electric development of this technology and I believe really good for human usage...
I notice that they don't claim that these ideas are safe, for one good reason: There aren't any brakes. If there was, the wheel would pivot forwards and your face would make friends with the road.

i hate the way onee wheel looks and that nasty ply wood foot pad is so basic
unlike the trotter which looks so cool and it has nice rubber foot pads too
which know when you take you feet off and stops the motion
,i love the way it has intelligent speed control too when your in motion for a while on flats it goes into a sort of cruse control you can of course speed up and slow down but if you don't do that it travels at a auto cruse pace i love
don't bother spending so much money on a one wheel they are not as good as the trotter and cost far far too much
I'm in the process of making my own one wheel scooter and thanks to all the plans and data already out there a lot of the software can be found quite easily and helped me smooth out the algorithm I was originally using and hopefully I'll have my first working prototype within the year

Dang I want one of these damn things, but I am 57 and don’t know how long I would be able to ride it ( if I even cab now) I used to snow board a lot and I miss it badly. This I could do right outside my house. But dang it they are costly, if ir wasn’t for that I would get one to try.
