This would actually be a cool idea for a villain for Transformers Animated. Sentinel Prime was always a jerk, but having him become the villain and change his name is cool. Plus it gives an origin to Jhiaxus.
I love the idea of Sentinel Prime becoming the bot who wished to rule and unite Cybertron by any means necessary.

He actually became the Decepticon Jhiaxus. But the way he looks and acts does look like The Fallen reincarnated.

Nothing against Jhiaxus, but everything, even the timing of S3 ending and a possible S4 beginning aligns perfectly with the Revenge of The Fallen movie! Sentinel becoming a newer version of The Fallen would have been dope to see!
Jhiaxus is a very unusual name for a Cybertronian.
I think it's a reference to the Marvel Comics
@@kalebendres we he (Jhiaxus) first was main antagonist in first run of G2 marvel comics. And his name is was a pun by Simon furmon (English not my national language so that why i butchered name of legendary transformers writer) as he see the cancellation of g2 comic.
Quintus ,solus,nexus ,micronus ,onyx, in comparison it seems fine to me I'd find it more unusual to meet a Carl prime named cybertronian
I feel like if TFA did continue beyond Season 3, Sentinel getting a villain arc would be the next logical step for a character like him.

You know it makes me wonder if they made Sentinel Prime the villain in Dark of the Moon because he was an asshole in Transformers Animated?
Possibly? The Michael Bay movies surprisingly took quite a few things from different transformer universes. For example, the plot to pull Cybertron to Earth's orbit via space bridge? That was from the G1 cartoon, the Ultimate Doom three parter.
