I did see some G1 Mlp, but not much, so the Discord twist didn't really bother me, honestly. I can see why it would bother others, though. However, I was six years old when I started watching G4 in 2010, and I love the show despite its flaws. I didn't even watch the ending until two years after it because I just wasn't ready yet. Anyway, G4 holds a special place in my heart despite it flaws. I also never really dealt with the fandom, so it was something I mostly enjoyed by myself, and I'd only tell really close friends about my enjoyment of it because part of me was ashamed of it...because I'm a man. I was a child when I started watching it, and even back then, I didn't like to tell people about it because it was a "girl's show," and I was a boy. And there were times when I was either made fun of or ridiculed for it, with the latter being something my dad would do, and so I mostly kept it to myself. I feel that if a boy wants to watch Mlp, then he should be able to if he wants to, and a girl should be able to watch Transformers if she wants to. However, unlike Mlp, Transformers is my favorite franchise and has been a part of my life for most of my life, even pre-dating mlp for me. And I'm gonna be real with you...there's toxicity here, too. Though, perhaps it's not as bad as G4's fandom. Maybe one day all Transformers will be able to come together, but until then, welcome to the world of...🎵 The Transformers! More than meets the eye! Look as I haven’t been that deep into the fandom of mlp but don’t get me wrong I like the grimdark sometimes but I never went that deep just saw transformers one it’s not that bad

Let's be honest here, when did any fandom had no toxicity? (Mention at least some i am not aware of no toxicity if that's alright) but still, i'm also been trying to get into Transformers and honestly, i'm basicly used to the amount of toxic waste that is in the fandoms ever since controversies of a Object Show community content creators, the pure cringe content farms of Monster School of Minecraft and even the toxic reddit of SMG4 on the hatred of Meggy and SMG4

Im sorry you had to experience all that :( Ive been losing interest in G4 too mostly because i get sick of the hate its stans sling at other gens especially g3 and 5. Seriously not every gen NEEDS to be like g4 -_- Now the tf fandom has its own baggage but i welcome you into it. Just be wary of geewunners they're kinda a bore

But, in all seriousness, I've been a transformers fan since i was young, so I'm glad you're apart of it too, I only interacted with mlp due to my sister, but other than that, nothing else, but other than that, im honestly glad you're enjoying transformers, and if you need any voice acting help for your different series you do, then I'm open to help, thats if you need help with that of course, if not that's fine.

Transformers Prime is my favorite show from my childhood and is what introduce me to the Transformers franchise. I'm glad that TFP got you into it too.

i started falling outta the show in 2021. starting in season 8 i got anxious when new episides dropped and i barely enjoyed the eqg specials and i was disapointed int he seasosn 8 finale. and alot of scenes were hard to watch for me. and lately ive barely felt like watching any mlp content the show, top list even bronies react. I was always more into pokemon but i think mlp really screwed me up and made me more anxious and sensitive. plus im autistic

As a former Brony fan myself, I got into My Little Pony in the Summer of 2014 because of my cousins are Brony fans and my friend that I go to school with was a pony fan. Then in the Summer of 2015, I decided to left the fandom because it just fells like it just making me dummer. So I got back into Transformers and Power Rangers. I still like some of the fan made music.

Sorry that you've been harassed by trolls on the internet if I may make a suggestion to help you with if you want to put yourself in the video maybe get a cartoon model as a stand-in like a vtuber if that helps if not

Coming from someone who came out severely disappointed in the show's finale, but for different reasons outside of the twist, and caused me to not find anymore joy in watching the show again after that and chose to focus more on the finale to Tangled: The Series, which was a much better finale in my opinion, I'm sorry went through that. You made the right choice in leaving the fandom and moving on to Transformers. As for me, I'm more into both Transformers and Littlest Pet Shop (specifically the 2012 series) since that was the one Hasbro brand I grew up with. Other than that, I moved on to better stuff like The Owl House, Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal, the movies of Cartoon Saloon, The Dragon Prince and the aforementioned Littlest Pet Shop series from 2012. Wow! So sorry you had to go through this. Totally understandable why you left. Fandoms can be toxic. Also I heard that some toxic fans were sending death threats to the voice actors and fans of G5 which is crazy! No one should send death threats to people.

I honestly do not blame you. I myself have had to experience something like this. I was once a part of the SMG4 fanbase and to start of with I did my best to try and stand how crazy the fandom was, but in the end (due to a certain controversy that everyone kept b’ing about) I just couldn’t take it anymore, so I left the SMG4 fandom and joined the DEATH BATTLE community.

I never left because of the fandom, (kind of) I think the fandom mostly ruin the show for me, for their awful fan service, I stop watching it around 5 and decided to tap out on 6, it had nothing to do with the toxic side.

Plus I’m absolutely fine in the Thomas and friends fanbase.

I will never forgive the bad bronies at all.

Gosh. I’m so sorry you had to go through all of that BS in the Brony Fandom. I can respect your decision of leaving the Brony Fandom. Those bronies are just stupid and brainless man-children.

I didn't discover G4 until around 2016-2017, so I thank my lucky stars I missed out on some of the earlier "nut-jobbery" shall we say. And I totally agree about the points of "HURR HURR DISCORD EEZ GROGAR" , "SAVEMLP", and "G5 IS RAWR" being a collective 150 shades of stupid. When I first found the fandom, I was impressed at the huge amount of creativity and versatility of these characters from Phantom of the Opera music videos, Fallout Equestria, and so much more besides. I've got over 1000 fanfics on my FiM library (and a decent% in physical book form). I myself have made a fair bit of art and a smallish handful of story dabbles, I've even attempted directing a few fan-fic audio dramas. Anywho, on behalf of the decent people that still exist, I want to say I'm so incredibly sorry to hear about your negative experiences and we wish you well in all your future endeavors pony or otherwise.

I like MLP and Transformer, but I'm not a part of the fandoms cause of how crazy it is. I'm really sorry that happened to you. To be honest, the fandoms people create do get a crazy but it doesn't justify their action. Which is the reason I stay out of those. I'm glad you got away from those jerks they weren't good enough for you anyway. P.s. I felt the same way with season nine they did Discord dirty. But outside of that we got a good show to remember. 😊
