The great Otello and an adorable Desdemona👍
Glorious. aug11_1 Though the audio is a tiny bit out of sync, it was still quite enjoyable. I’m a fan of Fleming, but she seemed a tad foggy in her phrasing here. No matter, really. When Domingo incarnates Otello so fully, as he does here, he inspires everyone to forget everything, and just be with him as he makes love to “il Duce del nostro Duce.” Bravi.

So "Verismo" was basically just a bunch of italian composers trying to be Wagner.
Beautifully sung by Domingo if you like off key and flat.
Well past his prime here,he was a good otello in his day,but not in the same league as del monaco or ramon vinay
At least he knows what he is singing.

São sinais mostrados pela rosa dos ventos.
A pandemia espalhando ao mundo a chance
De fazer brilhar a luz, saindo do imaginário
Mundo em que foi destruído, sem alcance. (*)
