Found out the hard way when a friend pulled the jack towards themselves, the handle popped out, hitting them up under the lip, cutting through and requiring stitches. @WatchJRGo mention this in your last video
Fellow V-Rod owner here trying to help you out. The oil leak coming from the alternator cover might not be good. Open it and check the triple sprocket bolt and make sure it’s not backing out (common issue). This bolt needs to be locked tighted and torque properly (simple fix). If it’s backing out then it can cause major damage and or cause you to lose oil pressure eventually so you should check it immediately. Also your mufflers have been gutted and turned into megaphones. With mufflers like that make sure that you’re running A plug-in tuner which you can probably see under the seat or backseat. If you don’t run a tuner with gutted or aftermarket mufflers it will run extremely lean (Stock is even lean from factory because of EPA) worse than stock and cause damage to your valves and overheat. Previous owner might’ve had slip on‘s and a tuner which he probably sold separately from the bike.

You have to be very careful not to break the front brake light switch when changing the lever.

The local HD dealership/store near Ft Hood closed, they consolidated inventory with a store about 30 miles away.
The local Nissan dealership is closing, the Mazda dealership closed, the local Honda dealership has many 1/4 to 1/3 the number of cars they had 2 years ago.
When you have car and motorcycle dealerships near military bases closing up shop....

One thing Harleys and BMW bikes have in common is parts cost. That's a neat V Rod. Good luck.

It's a good looking bike, but $2200 and no tank cover (unless I missed it)? There are some nice stock on eBay for about $800 (or an aftermarket carbon fiber one for about half that). But this sure makes me appreciate the 851 through 916 Ducatis--so easy to work on.

So I know you're primarily concerned with content, but at the end of the day, will be interesting to see whether the money you've spent would have been better spent just buying a better condition V-rod in the first place. Many garage queens out there...and lots of examples of high mileage but meticulously maintained bikes.

My uncle owns a very popular and very large European car repair shop and all of his mechanics and technicians call it that. In fact when it pulls up, they start blowing the 'rape whistles' to let everyone know it's there.

You’d be surprised at Harley putting metal parts that rust on your expensive bike.. I believe they do that so you buy the more expensive replacement chrome parts. (As in your Mirror arm)

It looked like your steering was a bit loose. The forks shouldn't fall that easily from side to side. They should fall but somewhat more slowly.
