You need to make a demo reel for your registration application. In this tutorial, I'll show you step-by-step how to make a demo show reel to highlight your best work.
You will find some tips on making a Demo Reel on registration page 2. There you will find a red asterisk and INFO button. That is where you will find these instructions.
THE DEMO REEL SHOULD BE PROFESSIONAL & DIVERSE - We need to see clearly that you have the skills and ability to make DIVERSE video content that is of the highest professional quality. (16:9, steady & smooth, properly exposed, perfect focus, well composed/framed, color corrected/graded, no noise, "blocking", "banding", "grain", "warp", "wobble" or other digital artifacts and aberrations like shutter mis-match).
SUBMIT One Unlisted or Public UA-cam link or a live VIMEO link for a "standalone" and dedicated DEMO REEL only please. Do not submit channel, website or G-Drive links, "home videos", broadcast news hits, corporate videos, corporate pitch reels, event video links, VLOGS, review & instructional videos, or "talking head" videos please.
DEMO REEL LENGTH 1-2 MINUTES LONG - with a variety of short clips (3-5 seconds each is recommended). We want to see what you can do so please get to the content right away and make a great first impression by showing us examples of your professional level work.
IMPORTANT - IT MUST BE CLEAR & OBVIOUS THAT THE DEMO REEL CONSISTS OF YOUR WORK - For individuals, your name or for companies, your company name must appear on the DEMO REEL title/description and match your application information. Do not submit work or links from any other creators, companies, brand sites, or channels that you do not own unless it is clearly explained and can be verified.
