Bill Wyman comes through real nice on this mix! Master player.
Couldn't agree more!
Yes. Missed in the band, but glad he's still active. P.S.: Ron Wood is the best second guitar the Stones have ever had.
@@Tipi_Dan I totally agree. Mick Taylor is a great guitarist, but not suited for the raw rock and roll of the Stones
Nowhere enough significance was given to the moment Bill Wyman left the band. he was SO integral, and you can hear them flailing somewhat in the years after Steel Wheels. They lost that lightness of touch, that musicality.
@@OlafProt I really dug Bill's early solo albums, especially Monkey Grip. It was essentially Little Feat backing him up.
It's truly remarkable they survived through this era
nice to hear wyman's bass. so underrated
It's really cool because you usually can't hear him on the other live tapes from this era
He’s a fabulous bass player! 👍🏻👍🏻
Yes Bill and Charlie were great together.
Bills bass playing is not "underrated". He played bass for the Rolling Stones. Why do people overuse the word " underrated". It is stupid. Just because someone didn't go to the show and say " Wow, the Bass was so great" doesn't mean it was "underrated". "What a great album Exile is, especially the Bass playing".
@@mechcavandy986 PROBABLY THE BEST !!!
European tour 1976 was the first time I saw them live. Two nights in a row. By that time, I was already hooked on the Stones ❤❤❤ and still am 🎸🎸🎸🎸
Ich habe sie Mitte Juni 76 in Stuttgart erlebt. Es war kathastrophal.😢 Jahre später wusste ich warum: Keith Baby starb kurz vorher den plötzlichen Kindstot😢
Just out of curiosity. How old were you when you got to see The Stones back in 76?

@@lnaregerhard in Germany back in the 70s and 80s was the band ‘the who’ as big as the Rolling Stones and Queen??
Saw the Chicago show in 75, my first “real big” concert! It was awesome, loved how they started out with Honky Tonk…
The old Chicago Stadium. With Billy Preston and Ollie Brown. The Crusaders were the opening act.I was at the third show.First major concert for me.
@@robertschuster6922 👍🏻I was at the last show, don’t remember the first band but the Stones was definitely worth the wait. Big cock blow and all on Star Star
So did my father. He had incredible life my dad. It's even documented but that show was one of his finer achievements in his life!!!
RIP Mr Billy Preston 🪦💔 great piano player and a great performer as well. 🎹
BILLY PRESTON IS DEAD ? I DIDN' T KNOW !!! OH GOD 😭😭😭😭😭
Just saw them last night in Vancouver! So damn good! Legends! In the presence of genius. History. RIP Charlie, Brian.
This is an absolute gem, thanks for posting...I hadn't seen much of their 76 tour
What a concert. This has so much colour theatre and vitality. Is that Billy Preston doing that dancing segment. You just wonder where Mick was getting that endless energy from.
Cocaine
From the CIA, according to Keith’s autobiography!
clearly drugs
I saw them in 1980 in cleveland. One of the best shows i've ever seen.
81
Yeah probably lol
81, 89, '06
This is on or around the time Mic told an interviewer couldn't imagine singing "Satisfaction" at 40. Now he's doing it at 80.
That's because he figured he'd get satisfaction by 40. Still eluding him because it cant be obtained through external means or pleasures.

My first Stones concert 1975, Philly Spectrum. I'm 66 and saw 7 more. Soundtrack of my life. 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
Philly boy here. 1st: Steel Pier, 07/01/66. 2nd: Spectrum’69, then ‘72, then ‘75…and all tours since… except Hackney.
Que afortunado
Saw them in Philly in' 78 and '80. The '75 tour was one of their best.
Saw them for the first time June 15t 2024, in Ohio. Hackney Diamond Tour. They were amazing!!🎸🎸
I was there with you my Stones friend
They had the Lotus pedal stage. They were great. I got to see them play at Sptctrum in 1972 that was the show. Mick Taylor on guitar. They did almost the whole Exiled album but they have so many goodies that don't get played. Best true rock show ever. I seen a ton of great bands. People love Zeppelin to bad they didn't get to see Mick Taylor play his slide and notes with his thumb over the top. Never seen that style again. Soo good
Love Keiths 'Mother of Pearl' guitar. My first Stones show was 7/4/75 in Memphis.
Unforgettable concert in Naples 1982. The band at his best. No electronic, no computers, it was only rock'n'roll
And no cell phones! I freakin hate seeing all those! Put it down and e njoy the Show!!
I was there, I was 13 !!!
Wouh! Sacré concert. Le meilleur des stones, a mon avis.
Et moi mon oncle m a offert le love you live vers 90 qd j avais dix ans. Je le connais par cœur. Mon disque préféré. J ai enfin les images.
Mon dieu. Les souvenirs.

I was there also and 13. Would have loved to meet you there. Me and my friend had no tickets. We did get two.
😮😮😅😅 Dichoso 😊😊
My fav Stones era❤️
Ladies & Gentlemen.... Bill Wyman on Lead Bass!
Wow amazing finding this. I was there. A long time go.
Hand of fate is one of my favourite sont from the Stone
Well, there wasn't much to like off 'Black and Blue'.
Thanks for this amazing show!
He this is amazing best camera shots thank you for posting
Great era. I just started to love Stones music..❤🎉
RIP Mr Charlie Watts. ❤🪦
I love that you can totally hear the pick ing of bills bass lines in the mix…gives it a completely new sound…
It’s awesome thank you for posting
Fantastic fun performance by the Stones. Rare to see Mick dancing with Billy Preston and Billy singing with the Stones as backing. Such great musical rapport!.........R.I.P. Billy Preston
Billy Preston, worked with the Beatles and the Stones. Would have looked good on his CV.
Incredible to realise that Keith just lost his son earlier in the day of this show.
Omg! The Show Must Go On! We can't imagine...I didn't see the concert yet. Idk but that's sthing I'll be thinking about.
How did you know that? I had like I didn't know cause I was told by him And I don't think he thinks people remember that
"Maybe it's in the book" Something like that would be by his friend and co writer James Fox.
Still, an empathetic fan to remember.
@@mrettajames it's a well documented story. It's even on his Wikipedia page
Nice to finally see (after 40 years) video of what I've been listening to on Love You Live
Well, almost fifty...
On this exact day before this concert, Keith Richards had received word that his third infant child with Anita Pallenberg had died. He went on with the show, anyway
he is not listening the rest of the band, literally, his timing is a mess in this show
Not exactly true. Keith lost his child one day later June 7th. And he played a very emotional concert that day. To deal with his pain.
@@SJ9336JE His third son Tara Browne died on June 6th and not 7th.
He was also shooting dope so he probably didn’t give two fucks..maybe.
with the help of an “I don’t care” drug called heroin

Great bass!
I’m very pleased to know am not the only one that loves the song but when last did you played it?😊
Epic. Bet it was loud. 50 years later and it’s still fn rockin
Wyman is so strong in this mix. IMO The Stones lost their swing when he left.
mon 1er concert, inoubliable moment !!! j'avais 16 ans et quel inquiétant bordel aux alentours du Pavillon
Thx for the upload...
I was there when that happened. I was 19.
Mijn eerste Rolling Stones concert in het Zuiderpark stadion Den Haag Nederland. Ik was 14 jaar oud. Mijn laatste, tot nu toe in Amsterdam. Ertussenin 176 Rolling Stones concerten gezien over verschillende continenten. Hopelijk komen er nog een paar bij.
Man the Billy Preston Tunes were killer!
This performance took place just hours after Keith Richards learned about the death of his 10-week old son, Tara Jo Jo Gunne, and he attributes going on to do this show and the band as saving him from suicide. 💔 You just never know what is really going on in someone’s personal life. So say what you will about this performance… but perhaps you’ll view it through different eyes knowing what you know now. We love you Keith! ❤💫❤️🩹
I’m very pleased to know am not the only one that loves the song but when last did you played it?😊
😢 Wonder how he could play so good, especially "Happy"... Wonderful Keith ❤
I never trust a word of what Keith Richards says.

Que buen video. Excelente.

Love the '75/'76 tours. Stones at their rawest, most decadent and dangerous.
Dangerous like the time Jagger shat his pants in front of the Angels. Tough guy that he is.
@@armadillo1231 Issues?
Actually, he stood his ground, told them to stop it, NEVER left the stage and finished the performance, while the HA damaged their own image forever... @@armadillo1231
Yeah but sadly Jagger sung so bad and sloppy on those tours.
I think 72 USA tour was their best.
this is great.Bills playing is superb you don't get to hear him this well usually
I never really noticed Bill Wyman's playing this much. He sounds great.
Great! Interesting live period - not just the regular set list from previous and later periods
A great venue! Saw The Kinks here at the Pavillon de Paris a year later, with Tom Petty and Nils Lofgren as the opening acts. This was the biggest indoor stadium at the time, and seated about 4000 spectators, so it was much more intimate and with better acoustics than the 18 000 seat hockey rinks of North America that such acts were accustomed to. I saw the Stones 14 years later in Toronto at the Skydome--they were tiny moving dots far away on the stage.

In 1978 was a teen beginning.. Hear lot of music, AC/DC first álbuns, Frampton, Boston, Wings, Tom Petty, Supertramp, etc also punk, lot of different stuff.. From my father ( classic, opera, Barry White, Donna, Summer, the Killing me softly song, Aretha Franklin..), older friends, friends of my age, radio station.. Once one of my older friends passed by a B&O store near by home, and told us that he saw a great band concert in a VHS, and color TV ( black and white that time and two channels..), day after we go see it... Then all the afternoons .. A bunch of kids seeing and hearing the concert.. The seller man sometimes ask Do you want the volume more high?... Yes Please.. Was This Concert.. After we became to buy the records, became Fans.. First concert in Madrid 1982...That's the way, the story I /we knew the Stones and fanatics..
Thanks for the great story. Enjoy.

Mick Jagger sure knows how to make a grand entrance, strutting in with his fancy shades, sport coat, and perfectly coordinated scarf. And oh my, have you seen Keith and Ron Wood? Hilariously twinning in their matching outfits! What's the deal with that, right?

I've heard him say, that this was the night just before show that he learned his newborn son had died of crib-death -- the stones offered to cancel this show -- but he insisted on playing. and he played real good, IMO _- especially the first few songs -- he looks like he's in agony in some leads...Heis grieving through his music. thanks!
