GAIT ANALYSIS 2

We continue our exploration of human gait, and this lecture focus on the subphrases of stance phase of gait and the swing phase. Earlier in part 1 video we defined gait, the events and subphrases. The stance phase is divided into three subphrases and they are:
1. The loading response or Weight acceptance phase
2. The Mid stance phase
3. The Push-off phase
Each of this phases are explained in detail and later on the Swing phase of gait cycle is defined and illustrated. The swing phase is made of three sub phases and they are:
1.The early swing phase or initial swing or accelerating phase
2.The misdoing phase
3.The late swing or deceleration phase

Are you able to show different clinical scenarios affected by gait !!! say if you have stroke and there is pelvic tilt if the L hip goes up and R hip goes down , which muscles are weak and during the stance phase , could you give certain examples for certain phases to analyze which muscles are impacted or weak !!!
