I really like to see Nebraska beat down Illinois in St. Louis at Busch Stadium. Maybe Illinois would be game to move one of their home games against Nebraska to that location
Almost none of these players have a shot in the NFL. Likewise most have no interest in a college education - thus the best you can do is to try and make money while you can (i.e. in college) via NIL and hope it sets you up a little after you "graduate".
100% … Why nobody with a microphone is willing to at least acknowledge this problem is a mystery - - Especially since an obvious solution would increase any BigU./NU revenue by selling at least 200,000 more tickets per season (plus TV contracts). The “student athlete” farce has been well documented even before the humiliating Kevin Ross (Creighton U.) illiteracy story broke in 1989. [the NCAA even had VERY min. academic standards from ‘89 to about 2001, before they were abandoned]. I wish each of the 32 NFL teams had a Minor League Pro AAA team that used Univ. stadiums / facilities (with no classroom req.) for these 3000+ players. … … The remaining players would get a clue their odds of making a living as a pro are close to zero … and they would become real Student Athletes (still given valuable 4 yr. scholarships worth $100,000+). The Cornhuskers would have two great teams to support. - - NU could use their stadium every week between their Pro and college and teams.
Which Non-Oklahoma Big 8 team is Nebraska football's biggest rival? Is playing at Arrowhead a draw for Nebraska fans? Would a two to four game series against Kansas or Missouri held at Arrowhead be a big revenue producer? Or would the revenue be about the same if the games were held at the home stadiums for each university? Do games being held within a 500 mile radius help with recruiting? Are the Huskers considering having more games in Texas to help with recruiting?
We have two really good backs in Nebraska. The kof on Crete he averages 9 yards per every time he touches a ball and we have a kid in Omaha that averages almost 7 yards per carry didn’t they both want to come to Nebraska and we did not recruit them and they are a lot faster than anything that we have now if you look at Dante, his longest run of the season was about 10 yards and Johnson on his run, his oil 20 yard we don’t have anybody that can take the balland go all the way to the end. We need to replace Riola. We don’t even have an RPO because he does not know how to run so the defense can just concentrate on him throwing the wall or hand it to one guy see what you think of that.

If I was under 15 hour drive, i'd go to that game. Sounds like a damn blast!

I'm with connor because in this day and age a Brooke Barringer would probably have transfered

Dante got the ball in a lot of short yardage goal line situations. Emmit could have taken some of those.

Neither of those kids would have ever seen the field at UNL
😂
I know for a fact ty robhad had much bigger nil offers the last two yesrs ,he stayed
Dowdell was probably booted out. Addition by subtraction. Still lookin for his first missed tackle.

No Nebraska gear on a Nebraska channel and says “non-con”. Will be taking thoughts with several grains of salt.
I can assure you Dowdell wasn't worth the squeeze.
$3.00 sez Holgerson will not take him back.
I want to say holgro isn't going to be lining up in the jumbo package a lot. So he doesn't need a bowling ball. He wants a all purpose back. Like EJ.
Oh yay, baseball talk 🙄
