Solved with a simple GA written in Python; X = 0.3333333333333333 . 1/X = 3.0 , 27**X = 3.0 , difference = 0.0 , solving the equation. Program run time 3 seconds.
1/x=27^x raise both sides to 1/x y=1/x y^y=27 i know that 3^3=27, but thats too close to guess-and-check, so allow me to use this neat method i found online 1. find any number, like 5 2. take 5th root of 27, call it a 3. take a’th root of 27, call it a2 and keep going 4. to increase efficiency, every 2 iterations, take the mean of the 2, b, and use that in the next iteration a=27^1/5=1.9331… a1=27^1/a=5.5007… b=(a+a1)/2=3.7169… a2=27^1/b=2.4271… a3=27^1/a2=3.8880… b1=(a2+a3)/2=3.1576… with iterations approaching infinity, this gets us to 3 y=3=1/x *x both sides 3x=1 /3 both sides x=1/3
Although appeared complex but I think I have learnt a new approach to this challenge from Sans. Thanks for sharing this unique approach with Onlinemathstv sir. Respect...👍👍👍
Hello" Equation with unknown vatiable as a member of usual algebraic expression and in power element principally can't resolved in algebra and needs special functions. So it's not algebraic task.😂
