@@_SayitAintSo I believe it was in Madden 18, and you would direct the exact spot where you were throwing the ball to instead of just hitting the receiver
7:25 I'm fairly certain that ball was thrown that far out of bounds on purpose. This happens often at the end of the first half in games. A team that is within their QB's maximum throwing distance to score a TD, but is outside of their kicker's FG range, lines up for a Hail Mary play with less than 5 seconds on the clock. They snap the ball and the QB looks to see if there is a receiver breaking open or has a step or two on the defender trailing him. If the QB sees that, he'll try to throw it to said receiver. If there's nothing there, he'll just chuck it up and out of bounds on purpose so there's no chance of the other team intercepting the ball and running it back. This allows the QB to take a shot at the endzone if it's there, but still run the clock out and get to halftime if it's not. The receiver in the area he threw the ball to was double covered by a CB trailing and a safety over the top. This was an intelligent play by the QB. So, I wouldn't call that a horrible throw considering he was trying to throw the ball out of bounds.
@@sussydababyballs8813 doesn’t mean he would’ve tore it on the giants. He would’ve been playing a different game. Giants have an amazing defense but their offense is hot garbage im sure Odell would’ve helped win some of those games that the offense lost for the defense
