I am a fan! Came across your videos while planning a trip to Asheville and now I’m hooked. Your joy is contagious. This place is now on my bucket list. Thanks for the tips
thanks for documenting this! We're looking to go to Grutas in February for 2 days but still deciding on whether to rent a car or take the bus. I'm not 100% comfortable renting a car in Mexico as it may be a bit of a headache dealing with insurance, getting lost etc. How did you find taking the bus there, was it pretty simple from CDMX? Cheers from Toronto!
this is so adorable! i am planning a trip to grutas de tolantongo for my birthday and i needed tips, and so good to see black vloggers talking about this region!
Im Mexican-American and you seen more of Mexico than I!!! Im so happy you're enjoy my motherland! There is so much to see! Don't stop! because soon I will follow!
I was actually searching for a person of color to post a blog on The hot springs in Mexico, Thanks for sharing your experience my close friend and I will be traveling in May 2020 and this location was on our bucket list
You are living the life my man! Glad to see you are not brain washed by the U.S. media lol. I barely found you a few minutes ago and love your two videos I've seen. This one and the one at the cenotes. You bring a sense of freshness to your videos. Have you ever visited Cascada de Basaseachi in the state of Chihuahua? If you haven't done so, I highly recommend you look into it. It won't disappoint. Keep up the good work!
Yes I’m far from brainwashed and if you listen to the American media it will have you second guessing but I hate watching tv anyways . People in Mexico are so friendly. I’m glad you are loving the videos.
How much was the Uber drive to Ixmiquilpan?! Are the caves and pools accessible through public transport? I don't really want to rent a car from DF but if its impossible to do so, I will.
I paid the Uber driver around $80 for a round trip. I would ask the driver if they are willing to make that journey first before you request. I’ve done this two times without a problem. You will pay at the entrance of the Grutas and you will be able to access each area (pools, restaurants, etc) . I hope that helps!
a Thanks for the love! I truly appreciate you. It’s a beautiful place and I can’t wait to return. Where are you from? Be sure to subscribe and follow the journey.
Will, your joy is contagious! I'm currently in the process of moving but was happy to see a new video while I take a little break and pretend this stuff packs itself. PS the blond is cute!
Alison Bowman Alison! Where are you moving to? Thanks for watching. I’m loving my new look and thanks for the compliment. Glad you enjoyed the video too.
Hey Will! I am actually moving abroad. I first found you doing "homework" for that 😁. But you quickly became my favorite travel vlogger and I love seeing new videos pop up. We are heading down to South America for fall, then heading to Asia for winter and we'll keep on rolling.
Alison Bowman My bestie lives in South Africa she just moved there and she would be a great person to know. She’s in J’Burg follow @RachelTravels I’m trying to come in September. Hope our paths cross soon.
Yas! And looking her up right now, thanks for that recommendation (or maybe my next packing break 🤪). I'm always looking for good vloggers of color. We need more diversity in this industry.
Uber Is not a good idea, the place is 3.5 hours from the city, is better to rent a car, the way is safety, is important to take in account that the best days to go there is from Monday to Thursday, on weekends is very very busy, also due to the comunication limitations, the hotels dont have reservations, so is important to arrive early to find some rooms available. Is an excelent place you will love it.
Hey Lacondra, there a meeting spot about 1hr from the Grutas. It’s definitely an adventure for sure. If you speak Spanish fluently it helps as well in that area since most people don’t speak English as much. I’m have a retreat there in 2019, so come join me.
Bout to head to Mexico City for the 2nd time next week. I might put this on the to do list. Looks dope. Definitely would just get an Uber to the meeting spot though. All about efficiency.
Bro, I couldn't stop laughing with you guys. Excellent video, My wife and I are going to there from Miami but I was planing to rent a car from Mexico Airport. What you recomend to get there from Mex airport
kikex2000 so glad you and your wife enjoyed the video!!! I took an Uber half way and then a collectivo. I usually don’t rent cars when I’m travel because the bus can take you pretty much anywhere. I like traveling through small cities to meet the locals. Be sure to subscribe and follow the journey! Enjoy Mexico
I'm Mexican that has been out of this beautiful country Mexico for 20 some years, and man! thanks for sharing my country in such a joyful way!. I was afraid to go, but after watching your video, I'm ready to have a good time there!

Yes but be sure they understand before you enter the car. I had my driver wait at the Grutas for a few hours so I gave him a great tip

So you all took Uber to Ixmiquilpan instead of going to the Bus station? Trying to figure out the logistics of this..
Yes with time limitations it was the best option.
@@WillEdmond how did it cost in total for you're ride? Or for the whole trip?

Can you go over in detail how you travel to there after the Uber? Did you book the collective in advance?
