Theo and Tom together are easily my favorite podcast pairing. They maintain their unique styles, keep the ball rolling for each other, and do it all without feeling or at least appearing threatened at all by each other. Never a dull or phony feeling moment with these two.
You really see the true potential of this podcast when there’s a great guest, and moon face isn’t interrupting every 6 to 11 seconds to talk about himself. Theo is genius. Gang 🤘🏼

Other class acts like Bill Burr and Louis C.K. have had their ups and downs, but the material was always of a high caliber and it was never pandering or dumbed down or lazy. Quit being cynical, because true professionals do exist, and they should hold themselves to such comprehensive standards.

These two have INCREDIBLE COMEDIC CHEMISTRY. Most can’t keep up with Theo’s jokes and Tommy adds to them and they bounce shit like the pros they are. There needs to be more of these two together in some way.
I think it’s nice to see a demonstration of genuine friendship given we live in a time wherein even the most mundane social interactions have been reduced to data points. As technology has progressed, we’ve lost a little bit of our humanity and how to simply be around each other.
Theo is amazing at painting vivid pictures of scenes. How he explained the room with the homophobic dad was AMAZING. Curling paper, mom stops making a salad.

I know what you mean, I think Chapelle is in a league of his own because of the insights in his comedy and his ability to tackle any issue from an almost a-political stance. He’s like the Radiohead of comedy, just different. But… I prefer listening to Tom day to day because I don’t always need political socio insight, sometimes I just want some Foo Fighters…

This is one of the best things I've seen either of them do. Very conversational, intelligent, and insightful. Some good life lessons for everyone, and a good perspective from the inside of success. Awesome show Tom! More two bears like this (is more Tom talks!)
Its amazing how fun a podcast can be when your not listing your favorite fast food restaurants, or which celebrity you'd wanna go out on a boat with, or which celebrity you'd make your second wife.
