Very competently done. It's fun to watch people do what they're good at and you made coping with the boat movement, limited space, and no electric kitchen appliances seem easier than it probably was. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks honestly the movement on this passage was minimal compared to some others… and it’s very easy, I find we over complicate so many tasks in life. Especially when it comes to cooking. I just want to share the reality of this lifestyle, making do and getting it done 😊 thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts I really appreciate it.
It was a mild day… I’ll add a list of ingredients to the description today when I get a chance that should also help. But keep watching… need to get my hours up hehe… thanks for your support ☺️ glad you enjoyed it.
Well done Rhonda! I was amazed how you were moving through the galley so easily as the Triteia was pitching from side to side. And always with a smile. Great food makes for a happy crew!
That looks amazing and can only imagine what it tastes like. Adding the PANNA chocolate was a nice touch. Every time I see you cook, I want to get stuck in and make it NOW, haha, but I live rural and not a shop in sight. Thanks Rhonda, so looking forward to making and eating this granola. And also looking forward to your next session. Take care.
I was a cook at a restaurant for around 15yrs and have always loved cooking. Im 37 and just started working in maintenance for a local school district a few years ago... ive been watching james for a couple years (he has really helped me understand sailing is possible for anyone willing to learn)ive really gotten set on it and its really what i look forward to in life..Unfortunately im from Iowa so not alot of opportunity to stay consistent but im determined to learn and buy a boat, sail when and as much as i can. I can retire at 53 (in about 15 yrs) and i plan on living on a boat and traveling. Love both your channels and hopefully ill see you guys on the water someday!! I start my first sailing classes in ft Meyers Florida summer 2025. Cheers🍻
@@LoveGrubGalley id rather give james my money and have him teach me lol. Thanks though🙂 and good luck with your channel! You make some excellent food especially given your resources sometimes.
yummy 😊😊😊😊😊 And gooood 😊 you are looking as a twin of my friend Joanne. she once performed an amazing good apple crumble for me. delicious! James, be happy 🎉
So pleased that you answered with the name of the video . I loved watching. Definitely going to use all your recipes . I also cook without measuring . Cant wait to make the granola . I 'd say its like a delicious dessert for breakfast ❤
No worries Sandy, glad you are enjoying this content. It’s delicious and number of followers have already made this one, some adapting it with other types of nuts and sharing with me their thoughts. Love it!! It’s delicious!
Thank you thank you, so welcome, thanks for the support. This platform is a good outlet for me… and if it helps people realise that cookings in small spaces and on boats isn’t hard, and doesn’t need to be boring 😊
Nice version of granola... You ticked off most of the things I was thinking of and introduced a few I've never tried (thanks for that). The only thing missing from my perspective was raisins or sultanas :) - thanks for sharing.
I often put cranberries in it also… at the end don’t add the raisins to the oven. I also enjoy freeze dried fruits such as raspberries… dried blueberries 🫐 are also incredibly… I mix this recipe up all the time… but this is a good base line.
Hi. Thanks for watching. Have been trying without to much luck to catch/cook and film some more fish… I’ve got a few recipes in mind for it, if only we could snag one of the hook 😊
first time I have seen your channel, I thought you were certainly rolling, I was wondering what type ,size etc boat you are on, and I love honey, some nice views as well.
I’ve always done it haha. But, should have to change my ways and have things safely inside containers 🫙 so we don’t have any bug 🐛 issues at any point. That would totally suck!
Hi Rhonda & James, make this for sure. A request ....James made some bread that someone gave him recipe ...cld you document (he baked that in oven) ingredients and process, however, Rhonda wld you be able to give a bread recipe simple as also that one cld bake in heavy frypan ...even flatbread ....(?) Do you have a Dutch oven? No hurry you're on Triteia time😅take care ...so good with your ideas ...thx so much ...
Thanks for your comment and question, yes I am aware of the bread James made via a recipe some other cruisers shared with him. I have been looking at bread recipes these past few days as we are now 16 days deep from our last provision… I’ll give some a test run, when I find one I like I’ll share it with you. I do not have a heavy pan or Dutch oven so will be baking it in the oven. Hope that helps. Again, thanks for watching 😊
awesome, I am going to try this. But on a side note, cant believe how rolly it was in calm seas. I cant wait for this to be my reality but now I have a small insight to how it must be in average or rough seas and no wonder people say, they just pick eat in those conditions.
Hey Lee, with the wind behind us on this day and a wing in wing set up the boat rolls even in the slightest seas. We are a tiny boat which of course amplifies this motion. Will definitely be creating more footage while under sail… and with the winds now in our favour is more sailing and less motoring yippppeeee!!! Thanks for watching, stoked you’re enjoying this content.
Once you made your own… and understand it’s not hard and doesn’t take long… unless you’re paying $18 a bag of gucci stuff… your homemade will be noticeable more fresh… you’ll never look back. Thanks for watching 😁
I’ve never caught one ever… processing fish is all new to me also… haha we caught a Jack Mack Tuna a few weeks ago, there’s some footage of that coming up on James channel, the next time we catch a fish I’ll do an episode 🎣 was just talking about this today 😊
Wait a minute you were 'FORCED' to eat Honey Sandwiches?🙄 come on now... Just wasn’t something I liked as a kid… that memory is embedded, I still see the teachers face… 😂 no one should ever force anyone to eat anything they don’t wish.
I still cringe smelling Turnips, we had a babysitter once who was cooking them and as a child I commented that it was such a stinky smell and for the three days we spent there she forced me to eat the stinky plate of turnips. I understand completely and although your reaction to trying the honey brought a refreshing change for you I will not be rushing to try turnips again soon 😅. Much love to you both. We own a Cal 21 but haven't sailed it into the sea yet on a journey but we have watched James a great while and now the two of you are inspiring us to go on a voyage. Thank you for sharing your loves.❤
Thank you! Food horror stories perhaps 🤔 a new series hahah. I only eat turnips raw in salad grated. Can’t image them cooked haha. Hope you get out on the blue water soon. Thanks so much for watching Faye.
I love how the cabin smells while you are making this 🤤 also your reaction to the honey was hilarious 😂
I'm definitely gonna make this granola.
One of my favorite things to do with granola is add it to oatmeal, add some banana and honey. Delicious!
Mmmmmm smells incredible doesn’t it!!
Mmm sweet and chewy
Amazing the reaction to the was epic you took one taste and then oh wow and then wow again. Can’t wait for the next adventure!😅

Well I could just about smell it from here in EnZed. Awesome with a capital A for Awesomeness. Thanks again for sharing. Take care guys.
So welcome Bryan. Thanks for watching ☺️
Im going to watch that a couple of times to pick up all of the ingredients. You made the rolling galley look easy. Good to sea.

Thanks Barry. Nice to have you here.

I was surprised to see your with that cool dude from L.A. you two belong together from the looks anyway.
Love the print on your dress- did you see that dress? Cute! Glad to see you keeping busy. Happy to see you and James together.
Thanks, it’s actually shorts… teehee the print is epic isn’t it. I’ve had it for many years.
Great idea Rhonda - I'd never have thought of that. I'm going to add those ingredients to my provisions list xx
Fantastic!! Let me know your thoughts.
Haha! I remember doing teddy bears picnic when I was in primary school 😂

Love❤ your cooking channel. Say Hi, to James, from Stevo, the soon to be yachty. I'd like to see you's catch fish and cook it.

Love 💕 and light to all 💕. ❤ 😊
Yummmmm
Gotta get another batch underway, just used that last this morning… always making granola.
first time I have seen your channel, I thought you were certainly rolling, I was wondering what type ,size etc boat you are on, and I love honey, some nice views as well.
Thanks for watching. She’s a 1965 Alberg 30. I’ve just run out of that honey 🍯 was incredible.
Honey tolerates humidity pretty well, but on the ocean how long can this mix last?
Didn’t last long enough to find out… the current honey we have is doing well…
PS - good idea to use the elastic bands to wrap the packets
