- Los Angeles Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner was removed from Game 6 of the World Series in the eighth inning following a COVID test that came back confirmed positive. Though FOX’s Ken Rosenthal reports he was asked not to join in the team’s postgame festivities, both he and the Dodgers insisted he participate. Turner did, sometimes without a mask, celebrate the victory on the field with his team.

I get it Fox, but JT played all of game 5 on Sun and you're going to tell me no one else tested positive on a Mon test? That's really hard to believe.
as far as we know. if you're willing to dive down that rabbit hole, is it really so hard to believe that the team hid other test results?
also, just because one person contracts it doesn't mean everyone contracts it. The MLB didn't enclose itself in a bubble, the players were pretty free to do what they want and go where they wanted to...so clearly Tucker was exposed to someone that everyone else wasn't, and was at a point in time that wouldn't make him contagious until they were in between tests.
@@bmoney2011 who's Tucker? don't you mean Turner
Why? Do you know where he got it from? Or when? Why is it hard to believe if you don’t know the details about what happened 😂

Hey fool game 6 was yesturday, TUE. Not SUN, are you high???

@Danny Treadwell Please explain
Not a single test positive in the entire NBA
Why does the media care about reporting ‘cases’ instead of ‘deaths’? Go to the CDC and tell me what the death rate percentage is...now tell me what that number would look like with all the asymtomatic ppl as well as ppl that get mild cases and don’t get tested....I bet you are one of those self proclaimed ‘educated’.
It’s Covid that keeps on going and this is why it won’t be over anytime soon. 😷

Nah I'm pretty sure that she has covid like the rest of the Dodgers.
I hope they're not feeling Dodger Blue if you know what I'm mean?
Oh, forbid!
They sleep together too idiot!
Bet you if he takes a test tomorrow it will come back negative. The Commissioner had it out for TJ for being so vocal about the Astros cheating and he did nothing to the players. Thank you TJ for you’re ALL- STAR plays at third “beast” and the hits. Lakewood Little league is proud of you.
Wow. How you all come up with these conspiracy theories is beyond me. I must admit, it takes skill to pull together completely unrelated facts and make them seem related, like their is someone behind those facts with a hidden agenda. This one is truly Oscar worthy! Congrats

@@GodsTruthMinistries maybe that's true for him but not for everyone around him. The players were tested for covid everyday during the postseason. The covid test they took on Monday was backed up so they didn’t get the results until Tuesday afternoon when they were already playing (2nd inning). His test came back inconclusive so mlb ordered the lab to expedite the test he took that morning which would take about 2 hours for the results. They got a positive result in the 8th inning which is why they took him out of the game.
They took him out in the 8th inning of the game and they didn’t announce his test until Tuesday. No one told him and only the commissioner of baseball announced it rob Manfred
They knew he was positive in the 3rd inning
@@ethancleland2686 But they didn’t announce it though
This is an unbelievable act by Justin turner. He knew he had covid in the 2nd inning. And he stays until the 6th. He was in close contact with the rags players and rays 3rd base coach. So that means if an outbreak happend it could affect the rays players and staff just as much as the dodgers players and staff. If he wanted to be on the field so badly then he should of kept his mask on at all times. He took his mask completely off the kiss his wife. He took his mask off to take a team pic while he was sitting next to Dave roberts. Dave isn’t the youngest guy that if he got it that would be dangerous. This is just unbelievable by Justin and the mlb. Do better

Everyone is making way too much of this. He wasn't "out there celebrating" the whole time with the team. He came back out after all the celebration was basically over and got to hold the trophy and pose for some pics with the team. Big deal. He's not out there coughing and sneezing on everyone, and in fact had no symptoms at all. Obviously his teammates weren't worried and were probably already exposed in the dugout anyway. He was playing in the game and nearly hit a home run. Get over it, let him have his moment, and go home and rest for a couple of weeks while probably feeling perfectly fine the whole time. Oh and I just lost what little respect I might have had for Ken Rosenthal. Like it wasn't enough to have anti-Dodger Joe Buck calling the games now we have to have some fear-mongering after we win. Get over it people.
you don't have to "cough and sneeze" on people to infect them...that's just the easiest way to infect someone.

What would have happened if the Dodgers lost last night? That's the question.

JUSTIN TURNERRRRR 🐐🐐🐐
The question is how did me manage to get it when they have been in the bubble for nearly a month? I’m thinking maybe it somehow came from fans very weird let’s see who else tests positive.
It’s not the same type of “bubble” as the NBA.
MLB wasn't in a bubble.
I mean, chances are that he got it days earlier during the series so in the end does it really matter if he's out there? More than likely the whole team already has it since they've been with him in the bubble. Maybe some of the rays have it too.
What good was it to have Spectrum Services do Covid tests? It shows what a great failure Rob Manfred's postseason bubble was allowing this unaccountable behavior by Justin Turner that exposed everyone from two organizations when this game should have been delayed.
