every time the rainmaker was close to our spawn, i was forced to drop from the map to have it reset, so as to not give free points to the enemies

if your team can manage to keep enemies off it after the pop, it'll reset when its timer runs out

@@LuckyOwI777 cause the downtime of respawning could be used to help your team out on the field instead. if the enemies are too far into your base, then yeah, drop it off. but if you splat most of the other team along with the rainmaker carrier or otherwise just have good control of the space around the rainmaker, you can wait for it to reset.

That is why the strat for resetting the rainmaker is dropping out of bounds with it, so it's back in the middle.

this has been on the back of my mind for probably 2 years now, I never go very far back unless i'm 100% safe because I'm scared of this happening, and I'm pretty sure it actually did one time (Although my team won) I think it's a so and so strategy though. It's a b!tch move but I enjoy doing it sometimes to stick it to the opposition.
