    When I was lying on the bed (spinal decompression machine) for around 30 mins, they set the level as per my body weight, it felt so easy and nice, but once it was done, I couldn't even sit or get up, it took me few stretches to get back up on my feet, my lower back - the primary cause I went to Physio, felt so stiff.
    Is this normal or it was just me? should I continue with it? I feared that I might have screwed my back further!!!!!

    • @DrDougWillenHouseofChiro
      @DrDougWillenHouseofChiro  8 місяців тому +7

      This is actually normal. Many of our serious cases (multiple herniated discs, stenosis, bulging discs, failed surgeries) have a similar experience. The patient is extremely sore when they get up. We have the patient walk, up and down the hallway here, for 10 minutes with the harness still on, then we have them take off the harness, and walk another 5+ minutes. The first 5-10 treatments this is possible. The doctor will adjust the intensity, for the second visit depending on the feedback that you give them. The results we get are phenomenal. I hope that you will continue, as it has been a game changer in our practice. We have a 95+% success rate, and most people are very sore and stiff. This is what we see! Good luck, let us know how you do.

    I have been dealing sciatica for the past three months. Ive been to so many doctors, physio, chiro, acupuncture, naturopath, osteopath and nothing helped. I got my first spinal decompression on Wednesday and the past two days have been incredible. Less pain, more movement and I am so excited to continue to get my life back! Another great Amazon find!! 🤣🤣 I wish, but still couldn't afford it 😭 this is awesome awesome, awesome! One more time AWESOME! I had a way more generic form of decompression it was the best thing I ever did. My feet felt like pins and needles everyday and I couldn't bend over, one time at work I sneezed started to cry and had to home I hurt so bad. So for you to have this added to your amazing arsenal. You are going to be giving people a new life. I'm not exaggerating, I thought I would live like that forever and it was taking a toll on my mental health. This type of device has helped many although I tried the spinemed table and was worse off afterwards with very powerful back spasms each time I moved for almost a week, the spasms almost dropped me to the floor a few times. I asked for a full refund and the chiropractor wanted me to continue with the sessions, he said it would go away eventually. If you listen to Dr McGill one should not attempt this type of treatment or any treatment that pulls on the spine such as dead hangs or inversion tables if there is instability in the spine, this is not a one size fits all.

    Tie the rope to the strap on the body from underneath and tie the other end to a wall or some heavy piece of furniture like this: On the other side, you need to grab something with your hands to stretch your body. Don't stretch too hard at the beginning or your back will hurt. Use a force of 10% of your body weight for 15-30 minutes, 3-4 times a day. You don't have to do this after the night. After one month my pain was gone and I was improving every day. I also have a herniated disc at L5S1. After a month, I use more strength to stretch and it doesn't hurt. It also means I'm healing. It is also worth stretching your spine by lying on your right side, then on your left side and then on your back. Be careful with the dose of strength at the beginning. I also use supplements with collagen, glucosamine sulfate and B vitamins.

      I had decompression sessions performed on my cervical for c5 c6 many years ago and was a 20 session treatment and it did buy me about 2 years then I had to go to my pain management dr. and get the steroid shots over the course of a couple years and then a branch block, and all this did help but eventually wore off and then these shots no longer worked and was told to see my surgeon, so it was then when he seen my MRI and xrays that there were no other options but to have c5 c6 acdf and a posterior cervical fusion for my facets, c5 c6 had compression on my spinal cord, so that's what I did, I'm currently 6 weeks post surgery and still in a neck collar and has been pretty dang rough especially those first couple weeks but am gradually getting better but it's going to take months to heal before I can really do anything, and my nerve pain is still there and can take a year or more for those nerves to heal, but the surgery stopped the damaging of the nerves so it would not get worse, so from my experience and also other peoples experience all of the things I mentioned above about decompression, pain management etc. do help and buy time but inevitably surgery will probably need to be performed if the compression is severe enough

    I had a car accident in May 2022 & few months after that i started having pain, numbness, tingling in groin. MRI shows buldging disc at l3-l4-l5 and facet hypertrophy. Neurosurgeons said i dont need surgery. I got steroid injections eventually in facet and SI joints, inguinal nerve block. It gave relief but i know its temporary. I am trying this decompression in Niagara Falls, NY but after the most recent session, i felt soreness and pain in my back that it became difficult to stand and walk. My chiro puts me on the table with my stomach facing the table and then he streches the spine using his hands. He said there is a table with harness which i can try but there may not be much difference. Is it normal to have these symptoms after the session? I got very scared if it screwed up my back further. Every case is different. The man in this video had two herniated discs. He has now completely rehabilitated the disc and is back to his martial arts, and even sky diving. He did all 20 sessions.
      We recommend 20--24 sessions. Twice per week.
      But, we sometimes start people every day. This patient did every day for a week because he was in severe pain, and couldn't walk.
      Many variables are a factor. Age, obesity, physical condition or lack thereof.
      I determine the case recommendation when someone comes in.
      I don't talk money on UA-cam. But you can come in and try the machine for a full session for $99.
      Insurance doesn't cover it at all.
      We have a 95%+ success rate since we got the DRX9000 7 months ago.

      It took my girlfriend 53 sessions. Our Chiropractor only charges for 25 sessions.
      I needed this years after her. It took me about 35 sessions.
      They even dropped the cost almost 50 %.

      @@DrDougWillenHouseofChirohey doc, you should do a peer-reviewed study on this patient and get it published. It would be beneficial to get the most recent studies peer-reviewed!
