Since when does chipmunk pitched samples trump a less transformed but more elegantly timed sample? Maybe it's just me not down with the times or whatev. but whenever chipmunkery starts, I leave the room (tune).

after years of following Shadow. what’s really unique about him is his ego. he has no problem walkjng away from sounds, so he can remain engaged with new styles (im not saying using a pitched-up vocal sample is new, i’m referencing to the drum programming. its a lil subversive when DJ Shadow has traxx that dont aound out of place playing at forever 21 & H&m
