6am morning routine and showing you a productive day in my life :) having a mindful morning and reflecting on so many things. I am getting my life together and finding balance again as I've been feeling unmotivated! Also, Erewhon smoothies are known to be quite pricy, but I tried Hailey Bieber's smoothie and it was delicious (and sweet). I also shared a little storytime of my health scare :( I am taking care of myself and remembering that life is indeed short.

Med student here who recently completed OBGYN rotation. I want to comment a bit on your health scare and hope information can empower you all. I think this is the reason we do not recommend mammogram on young women because we have dense breast and our breast responds to our hormone a lot so you can intermittently have cysts that are totally benign and they can come and go. That’s why we recommend self examination, not to detect cancer, but to know what your breast feels like normally and you can be more in tune with changes in your breast. That being said, I have had 29 year old woman who had detected breast cancer after feeling a lump in her breast. The outcome was very positive she was completely cured. Moral of the story, self examine your breast often and see your OBGYN every year
As a clinician who specializes in early onset breast cancer, this is exactly the reason we do not recommend imaging under 40 UNLESS there is a family history of breast cancer (then we recommend screening 10 yrs before the earliest diagnosis in the family) OR an inherited predisposition to breast cancer (screening age is based on gene). I always tell my young patients before they undergo their first mammogram, ultrasound or MRI that we may find something we need to biopsy but not to be concerned because that it is common in younger women due to dense breast tissue and cysts.

My MRI had the same results in grad school. So stressful but thankful it was also dense tissue. I remembered sitting in the lobby waiting for my ultrasound thinking, there’s someone in here with breast cancer. I prayed for each woman in there hoping they had support and that everything would be ok. Glad your ok as well. Thanks for sharing this on your channel.

I also had a LOT of health scares when I was planning my wedding. I was so stressed out, I would get nose bleeds at least twice a week. I am thankful to share that I am now healthy and happily married. I love your heart and how you trust that The Lord is good no matter what. Thank you for sharing. It is important to take care of your health at any age. I am glad to hear that your screening came back negative. I lost a dear friend to cancer on June 21. He was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in his throat, liver, and adrenal glands in early April this year. He was only 52 and he was my friend for 35 years. He was teaching in Arkansas for the 2021-2022 academic year and had to stay home for the last two weeks due to his declining health. He returned home to California in June and I was able to speak with him one last time on June 12. Life is a blessing and a gift that we must cherish. Thank you for your video presentation. Take care.

Coming from someone who was diagnosed with breast cancer at 29, I also thought there was no chance my lump would be cancer. I’m so proud of you for checking it out when you got back to America. I was always very healthy before my diagnosis so it was very surprising getting that diagnosis. Especially since I had no family history of breast cancer.
I later found out I have the brca1 mutation.
Keep doing self breast exams! I’m so happy that you’re testing was normal!!

I’m really glad you are okay! ♥️ this really inspired me to probably go and get tests purely to stay ahead about my health.
In these moments I think it’s the main time that’s giving us the option to choose to have faith in God, and these things could happen to strengthen or remind us that God is good and we need him every day of our lives because we never know what lays ahead.
This was such a chill and motivating video! health-scares are never fun but they do make you appreciate your health even more 🤍

I loved that you opened up about your mammogram, my mom had breast cancer and I noticed my first (benign) lump last year at 28, and I felt all the same emotions you did while I was waiting for the news 😅 Unfortunately I live in a smaller province so I have a 6-8 month wait to see a breast surgeon, and even though I received good news I still have that “what if” in my brain until I get it out. Thanks for sharing, it always feels good to relate to someone ❤️

I'm so thankful that your health scare was nothing serious! When I was first pregnant with our oldest(he is almost 8 now)we found a large lump in one of my breasts that I had to have a biopsy done on but thankfully it was just a benign fibroid!

My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and she’s gone through treatment and was told that she has a really good chance that she is cancer free! We don’t know for sure, but I hold on to hope.
Omg my uncle just went through the same thing. So doctors though he had lymphoma and for a couple of days our whole family was chaos. At night I would hear my mum crying and I just felt so bad, like how r people so brave to cope with things like this. Luckily it turned out to be a false alarm but it just reminded me to be grateful to even be here on Earth.

I worked in a breast cancer clinic for almost 10 years. We would get young girls around 30 and younger coming in who like you randomly did an ultrasound and found lumps. Most of the time these lumps we found were benign (non cancerous and just had to be monitored every 6 months or so). Sometimes they were cancerous but I’d say rarely. Just wanted to say don’t freak out if you have lumps as it lost probably is benign but obviously DEFINITELY go see a specialist to make sure. Also if you have any pain at all see a doctor.
I just went to my first day of 7th grade today and I almost had a panic attack I was so scared!! But I survived I have to get up early so I need motivation!!

My best friend found out this year she has breast cancer and she's turning 40 in November. We've been praying each step of her way.
My husband just had a renal mass removed from his kidney that the doctor is certain was malignant. He is also certain that he got it all! So, we are awaiting the biopsy results to see if he will be needing chemo. Praying that this was all he needs to endure. Glad your health scare was just that…a health scare.
