    • @giocommentary
      @giocommentary 9 місяців тому +8

honestly, you don't need to actively think about the jungler.
there are a lot of easy ways to predict junglers, it is the easiest role to predict.
Remember they have an almost set pattern.
if you see or know where they are going to start then you can guess their pathing to the other side.
around the 3 minute mark is also something to be aware of, at this point junglers finish their first rotation and try to look for ganks.
try to ward entrances to river instead of sidelane brushes/choke points.
if the enemy junglers shows up on the ward it will save you 10 seconds to retreat to your tower then if they show up on a brush ward and are almost in lane.
you can also use your own jungler to estimate the position of the enemy jungler.
if your jungler is grabbing scuttle and isn't being contested you can estimate the enemy jungler is either doing scuttle at the other side of the map or in that part of the jungle.
these are some easy to apply tips and tricks :)
always try to learn/do one thing at a time until you can do it without active thought in your gameplay and then grab something else to work/learn/improve^^

      @@jsarguitar nice congratz!
around Gold people their mechanics are usually okay to decent but their map awareness and decision making is usually still really bad.
splitpushing and roaming really shine here.
remember kills and gold don't give you anything if you can't transfer it into an actual lead.
snowballing champions that can take over entire games themselves like Katarina and fizz will demolish enemys purely by existing.
roam get kills, make their life a nightmare by only coming to lane to gank your own enemy laner or grab the wave who is trying to punish you by taking your tower, go to bot or top again - repeat.
whilst splitpushers abuse the fact people don't know how to end games fast.
it causes discordance makes other people come to your lane and even if you die 350 gold is nothing compared to something like a third dragon or inhibitor turret on the other side of the map
and the amount of times i've seen 2/3 enemy's with baron buff recall to stop a single Sion at their second top turret is insane.
they see u coming for that tower any resemblance of teamwork usually poofs right out of the window.
who is going to stop the Sion? 3 man recalls and their entire baron buff siege comes to a screeching halt.

spam pingers aren't going to do anything or give any form of good or useful information when all they do is spam pings and be distracting.
wanna give a wp or thumbs up? use an emote like the thumbs up emote instead. (my personal favorite is the ''blow the ornn horn'')
just make sure it can't be perceived negatively in any way shape or form by your teammate.

I find it just as important as an adc. Baiting support skillshots is the obvious benefit, especially if it puts them out of position, but pushing the enemy adc off the wave and forcing them to use whatever skillshots they have to farm gives you complete control over the lane just as much as mid or top would.

In a duo lane, this would more apply to the support than the ADC as they usually have more threat and trading. But you can translate the mechanic to fit the role. Instead of posturing in a way that creates pressure, posture in a way that draws aggression. A support trying to hit you rather than pressure the lane or an ADC looking to aggress on you rather than focus on your support creates space for your support to work and distracts the cs and wave control on your opponent. Even better is that if you have the better DUO, you CAN generate threat as there’s the threat of your support responding with you. Allowing you to do similar tactics in the video.

Ok, but what can I do in a melee ranged matchup, my champ is not mobile just has great burst, but that burst can't be applied while the enemy is constantly 3 kms away yet has full lane presence (I play pantheon and I'm talking about poke mage matchups, like lux, xerath and stuff like that). I mean if I dodge a skillshot then they just play extremely safe so I can't deal damage, yet they have full control over the wave because the range and aoe is just huge.

    • @TurkeyMeat
      @TurkeyMeat 9 місяців тому +2

Ranged will always have the early push, and do their best to poke you down. But once the wave crashes, it will bounce back, which temporarily gives you the push. This is when you need to take full advatage of your push lead and all in them if they try to contest the push. They should be forced to use abilities on the wave to push, which means you have free reign to auto the wave and retain the push, or all in them if they also attempt to auto. It is very important that you stay healthy in the early levels so that you have the hp to pressure them off the wave when it bounces back.

Why not show a demo vs a champ that has the similar skill set? Meh, just seemed like smurfing in lower elo with knowledge of spacing which is something you don't get to do unless you''ve already died thousand times by limit testing.
On paper, that's true but i don't think anyone below Diamond will apply this in an efficient way without getting ganked and die; So... I would rate this video as "send this to your diamond friend hardstuck OTP " but nothing a low elo could pull that off, you were just dribbling in front of elementary school, they don't bite back.
Tips are good, but wave management on death was not explained, neither the comeback after dying. You're just showing higher elo moves spacing on a gold player and be like " Yo, do this, easy right? "Without explaining how to comeback if you f-up. That's not a guide, that's showing off in lower elo
Last thing : At 9:00 , your play worked because you're in low elo. Yasuo didn't hear/see Nocturne, then he realises, he comes late, you kill nocturne in awful way and Yasuo doesn't flash on you, doesn't E on you, missed Q, auto minion on his way. Finally, why is Nocturne Lvl 2 without any buff trying to gank ?
That's just smurfing and showing people " See what i Did ? Now do it " without actually having no idea how to do it.
Your guides are really good most of the time but this one didn't go into any depth, low elo won't understand how to pull that off, and higher elo already knew that. It's like a lose-lose scenario where you can't explain easily, yet it's something natural in high elo.
I don't know, may be it would be better to put a Part 2 with actual advices to give on low elo people instead of just pointing fingers at (awful) plays and say " Do that, easy right ? "
Wishing you good luck for the next one~~ 😇

I think that's always been the problem with McBaze's videos even when he's smurfing in something like master's elo. I think the mechanical concepts he explains are good, but honestly for some people these things just don't happen without tons and tons of training. I've played this game since season 2 and I definitely can't apply footsies or baiting abilities very well because I've never been a very mechanical player, which is why I find games like DMC or Elden Ring also quite mechanically difficult to play. The difference is that in those games you can actually practice by reproducing the same situation over and over, but you can't in League.
I also think these concepts are very complex and don't apply to high elo like you point out. Low elo should probably focus more on just understanding matchups in general such as why is Xerath weak into Azir level 1? I play neither of these champions, and while I suppose I could theorize it's because Azir can get a free push lead because of his soldiers, it's also super silly to suggest that if the player is matched with equally skilled opponents that they can always out micro their opponent in the lane like McBaze does, because if they could do it on a regular basis, they wouldn't be in that elo.
Also, I think even before even talking about footsies and spacing, an even more fundamental part is knowing the enemy threat range to begin with, and a lot of people don't do that. If they did, they wouldn't be low elo, and beyond that, flash is also something to always take in account as well, and how all of this then plays into wave control. Hence again, champion mastery and matchup knowledge matters way more than footsies, because it's only something you can start to apply once you have achieved a very high level of mastery, imo.
