74 years old, retired from work because of vx mandates, 78kg's, 6' tall, no regular prescribed medications, was in maritime construction, have been Aus., Army, as well as self employed mechanic, not everything I eat is carnivore, but very low carb, minimal sugar no wheat products, I have colourful veg, plenty of beef, lamb, chicken, pork, no processed meats, always check ingredients in foods. If ingredients are described using numbers or chemical names I don't touch it. Well, 3 months I'm back in my gym doing weights, cardio, feeling great! Wife and I divorced 32 years ago, got 4 grown kids 8 grandkids, 3 great grandkids, up and down east coast Australia. I cruise up and down the coast on my fat bike, visiting family and friends as if I'm still in my thirties, was going to say twenties but I don't ride like that anymore and expect to live, anyway, I find that without a good steak or similar I just don't seem to feel as energetic or as quick minded as I should. I'm now 68 after having gone keto for nine months and then carnivore for the last couple of years. Lost 30 kg and my floaters and tinnitus are so greatly reduced they're barely noticeable. Teeth health is terrific and I constantly feel well. It's great being able to go outside without having to use sunscreen. I walk the dog for an hour early each day and then come home and eat breakfast at around 8:30 a.m. Then I get stuck into my day's activities for the next five hours and have linner (lunch/dinner) at around 2:00 p.m. That's it. I feel no hunger or desire to eat anything further until breakfast the next day. Food prep is so easy - just take the meat you want the next day out of the freezer the night before. It's fantastic having so much extra time in the day to enjoy life. Carbs and sweet things stopped tempting me long ago. Carnivore life is great!

Great video which helps carnivores like me who don’t know any other carnivores in person. I am a 63 year old woman who has been animal based for 2 years followed by 1 year carnivore. I have many physical changes for the better but by far the biggest plus for me has been psychological. Since my early 20’s I have taking prescription citalopram due to high anxiety. Heart palpitations, panic attacks and constant tearfulness. Once animal based I was able to give up carbs and alcohol. Once carnivore I took 7 months to gradually wean myself off of citalopram from 40mg /day to zero without any negative effects. All the anxiety I experienced has gone despite nothing else in my life changing. It’s truly miraculous to me. 🎉.

    My N of 1
During the extreme lockdown here in the Philippines, January 2021 I was obese type 2, 94Kg/207lbs, (I’m only 5’6”) with pre-diabetes and high blood pressure. I was suffering from metabolic syndrome. I understood the comorbidity I had as a 57 year old would greatly affect me if I contracted the Rona. I had to lose fat, reverse hypertension, reverse my NAFLD and reduce my HbA1c.
Sitting in my armchair at the beginning of lockdown I saw that the keto/ketovore/carnivore diet claimed it could ‘cure’ my ailments. I watched a bunch of videos and tried to understand the linked papers supporting the claims. End result was that it simply made a lot of sense to me.
After procrastinating for a couple of weeks I saw a video by Ken D Berry, MD where he said ‘Just do it’! … so I did 🤓
8 months later, whilst still sitting in my armchair (most of the time). I had lost the 30kg/66lbs of fat that was required to get me down to a ‘normal’ BMI, I GREATLY improved my blood pressure to the point it raised my wife’s eyebrows, she’s a First Responder. My blood sugar was well back in to the ‘normal’ range and I vastly reduced inflammation.
I also reversed IBS that had controlled my life for 40 years (I lost jobs because of it), got rid of decades long debilitating heartburn, my Testosterone went up drastically and I stopped snoring … my wife is happy 🤓 I was ‘foggy’ & forgetful, possible early stage MCI, I sometimes also slurred my words and forgot what I was talking about mid sentence, this has completely reversed! Undiagnosed but recognised by my family I got out of a bad case of lockdown depression.
A few months ago I further decided to cut out most vegetables from my meat heavy Keto WOE, only adding on occasion a little onion, garlic, green peppers and tomato for some flavour… always salting to taste. Improvements are continuing with a pace with better mental health, blood markers, skin conditions (skin tags have also disappeared) etc.
Most recently I have noticed pain improving in my back associated with osteoporosis in my lower spine. I don’t sweat like I did, slim or overweight. Also I am using old prescription glasses as I can see through them better, also eye floaters are disappearing… possible eyesight improvements?
Simply eating nutrient dense meat, HEAVY in animal fat, eggs, seafood, salmon … single ingredient real food is all it took …
Whilst cutting out processed food, sugar/carbohydrates and seed/‘vegetable’ oils and most dairy.
We THRIVE when eating our evolved, species specific Proper Human Diet along with some intermittent fasting to mimic the way our ancestors survived.
I’m sure there are thousands upon thousands of people that have similar anecdotal stories to tell … Please tell them … get the message out there!

some do not lose much but rare I know even Dr Chaffee has said this or takes a LONG time to heal depending on many things
He even mentioned this above also in one of his recent live QA
as many do focus to much on scale weight and not on size and feeling during the healing process
again not denying anything you said :) just sharing trying to help :)
so what exactly are you eating? how many times a day
do you include dairy? if so have you stopped eating dairy?
and just done just ruminant meat salt water
how much are you eating a starting point that many agree on is 1gram of protein per ideal pound of body weight as a starting point and fat at 1:1 since fat has more calories that works out to be a good starting point and you might have to adjust up or down and along the journey adjust some
also, the ratio of fat to protein and getting too much protein seems to be something some do so try to stick to the fatty meats
for me when losing the most I was eating more fat than I do now

I'm 52 and just started carnivore 4th of July. I was 214 (the heaviest EVER in my life) and on amlodopin for my blood pressure. In just 3 weeks of only Beef, bacon, butter, eggs, salt, water I immediately noticed the following:
1.Able to go OMAD with no carb cravings
    2. Zero bloating
    3. Lowered BP - off amlodopin after 3 weeks
    4. Steady energy through day
    5. Weight at this time is 194 and trending lower.
I am super stoked to continue and reach my goals of reducing visceral fat and attaining a super defined mid section. I was able to go cold turkey and drop all fhe harmful sugar loaded foods and energy drinks. Never going back to that garbage!

Another notable thing, I'm fat & protein based metabolism, so if I have to leave the house without eating I'm energetic, not hungry, my energy levels stay high and stable, and whenever I get around to eating is fine, a complete difference from on a carbohydrate based metabolism. For those who don't know, Astigmatism is related to the SHAPE of your eyes. The astigmatism getting better is likely due to reduced inflammation, therefore reduced pressure on the eyes. Pressure on your eyes will obviously effect its shape. So, less pressure equals less shape deformation. I have astigmatism, and sometimes I like to gently press on the sides of my eyes without glasses, and if I do it just right, I have PERFECT vision. It's wild.

Going carnivore taught me what it means to be "full," that is, the feeling of being satisfied after a meal without a full stomach, something I had never experienced before. On a traditional diet, and to a greater extent on a vegetarian diet, you can practically eat until your stomach hurts, and even then crave more food, not to forget how hungry you are again a few hours later.
This also taught me what hunger is, as something distinctive from cravings, and as the cravings disappeared I became aware of the difference between the two. I no longer panic when I feel hungry, e.g., at work, because it mostly goes away within an hour or so, and when I finally get home I'm still not desperate to eat. Cravings, on the other hand, which i used to have, are much more difficult to resist.
Finally, it taught me what digestion is, when before I considered that the faster food went through the stomach/intestines the better the digestion, without understanding that it could be a sign that the body wanted to get rid of content it did not want. Especially when it comes out as much as what went in. Laxatives are not digestive. Digestion is breaking down food and absorbing nutrients. My first few months as a carnivore I thought I was constipated, something vegetarians had warned me against, and less came out than went in. However, I felt healthy, no stomach ache or bloating, so I concluded that for the first time I had a fully functional digestion, i.e., absorption of nutrition.

Yes! For me, I have noticed the same, pretty much everything you said, plus my rings fit after years of inflamed joints from brewing arthritis now abated, dental health greatly improved, chronic paralyzing anxiety and IBS disappeared. I just feel and look more like myself, the version I lived with in my 20’s and haven’t seen since, if that makes sense. I was the biggest Foodie ever - like, I left the city life for a farm to grow and raise my own food, process and store everything Foodie - and now I rejoice in the extra time for so many other passions, and my vibrant good health without the burden of all it took to feed us. Carnivore upended my life but it’s a freakin miracle in so many ways. The last thing is our grocery bills have gone way down. We buy a side of beef and whole lamb and pigs for the freezer, raise and butcher chickens, also buy butter, sardines, and a few other things. Maybe a few veg from the farmers market for my hubby. I know one thing for certain, processed food is addictive, expensive, and dangerous to our health, so amen to saying goodbye to that garbage 🥳 Thanks for sharing. This can be a lonely journey….

enjoy your down to earth talks. I am 75 and been on carnivore for 2 I/2 years.
Lost 45 pounds and still have 30 to go but taking it slow because I have neuropathy in legs and can't work out hard. I do go to gym Monday and Wednesday and Friday and walk a slow mile each day. I also have noticed better vision. and better skin. I eat late breakfast and early dinner and never snack (lots of rib eyes for dinner) (sou vied). and Bacon & sausage for breakfast.

70 yr old man here. 15 months carnivore. Many similar changes noticed. I still drink coffee with heavy cream in the AM.
I had severe cluster headache syndrome...(They're called suicide headaches for a reason). Neurologists told me there
was nothing to do short of extremely invasive surgery and/or ridiculous electrical implants. This is what prompted my
interest in this diet, and haven't had a headache in more than a year now.
I do have an ongoing sinus issue that began with the headaches, and I'm fairly certain it would go away if I stopped the
heavy cream and coffee, But haven't made the jump to a coffee-less morning. Probably will eventually, but I do love my
coffee in the morning even though it is an addiction.
BPH (enlarged prostate) is another issue i'm hoping will disappear...It is a pain to deal with and affects my sleep. It does
seem to be getting better slightly, but we'll see. There's some good data about oxalate dumping and even insulin storing in
the prostate, causing inflammation/enlargement, and it takes time to get these deposits out of the gland tissue...Which
    makes sense.
To me, the worst of this lifestyle is other people's judgement. And even though I've lost 40-50 lbs. and have a 32 in waist,
there is an overall tendency for others to disapprove of such a radical diet. I guess it's isn't surprising since we've all
suffered from a lifetime of indoctrination from experts and authorities pushing every manner of lucrative, "science based"
narratives, with little regard for the disastrous results in overall physical, mental and societal health. Anyway, thanks for
    posting...I've subbed and liked....

so good to hear stories and even things like the BPH that I do not have but others do the more we get info and sharing going on the more we hear others stories good or bad with it and find out what is really the way we should or SHOULD NOT be eating the junk they say is healthy :) funny how we are being lied to (tin foil maybe maybe not)
had to google that Cluster Headache
I know my migraines were more consistent so not that cluster than thing but can see that also as being horrid
worked on boats long chunk of my life we used to joke the difference of being hung over or sea sick is
Hangover you feel like you are dead
Seasick you want to be dead !
I found the headaches the same way its like you want to die to get it over with (figure of speech) but they were so bad you really did wonder truly if they could kill as you as the pain was so severe I would start throwing up and not be able to function truly scary bad stuff
the cream coffee thing is tough my espresso and cream habit did not stop till 2 yrs in to carnivore :) so with ya on you will find it one day I am sure
      yeah the other people
these days I just shake my head and kinda do this hand swipe thing saying look I am proof from being in shape to getting OUT of shape to now back to my 20s and 30s weigh and more important FEEL at 60 of being young no more joint pains no more getting the old body going in the morning climbing out of bed hearing the cracks and pops going down the stairs etc...
so that last paragraph is so so so true "indoctrination" and LIED to big time and its still pushed on us and as I keep saying the fact they are trying so hard to say this is bad kinda proves we are on the right path to health :)

Two years on carnivore diet, and it has been transformative, including in many of the ways mentioned on this video. One complication: at 4 weeks, I hit oxalate dumping. Sally Norton's book Toxic Superfoods (and her many YT videos) gives the details of what that is and how to manage it. Getting 66 years of oxalates (e.g., loved rhubarb as a kid and have always eaten too much dark chocolate) out of my system has made carnivore even more life-changing for me.

How long did the oxalate dumping last, and how did you resolve it?

    • @Druids234
      @Druids234 7 місяців тому +4

@@FlufferNutterSandwich Oxalate dumping can continue for anything up to 5 years or more. Sally Norton herself, who was in a really bad state (wheelchair, etc., which she managed to recover from) is still having dumping episodes after 11 years, she says. Discouraging, of course, but on the other hand, the episodes get less problematic (years 2 and 3 are said to be the worst), and gradually one feels so incredibly well when away from the dumping that it becomes well worth the effort. You resolve it with a carnivore diet, by retaining about 50-60 mg of oxalate intake (in my case, that's 2 cups of black tea - total 40 g, and 2 thumbnail-sized pieces of dark chocolate for 25 g, total daily oxalate intake 65] which slows the dumping process to a manageable level. Beyond that, on a carnivore diet, the body will heal itself.

    • @FlufferNutterSandwich
      @FlufferNutterSandwich 7 місяців тому +4

@@Druids234 For me, it's mild and easy to manage, but annoying. Daily, I wake up with mild knee pain, but drinking a cup of black tea instantly resolves it. I was just hoping to come off of caffeine, but until the oxalate dumping stops, I have to stick with the tea.

      agian hard to say
I know when I started carnivore if I cheated I told myself would only be back to Keto and NOT SAD junk and lucky I did not need to but did test a few things once in a wihile to see what would happen all with negative results

Another great video!! For me there wasn't ever enough carbs or sweets. Nothing satisfied my hunger UNTIL I started Carnivore!!! Mainly it's fatty meats or add butter, Himalayan salt, bacon and eggs! It's amazing how the hunger goes away! Make 1/3rd lb burgers rather flat, or buy them from Gordon's Foods. Cook meat so it's still pink in the middle and it will digest so much better and tastes so great with the salt! Add the good salt! You'll be feeling so much better, weight comes off, sleep is good, blood pressure is normal now, skin condition is much better, energy is so much better! I'm much more positive and think positive and say positive things to myself and others! It works! I walked today, have ya'll? Just do it.

Still, my sleep has improved a lot (sleep through the night), my blood pressure has dropped from 130s/70s to 110s/60s, depression and anxiety are greatly diminished. My skin is starting to look better. Still dry and thin but nowhere near like it was. Most of my indigestion is so much better. Wow what a change. I’m sleeping some better. About a week in and started a list of all of my “ailments.” I had binge watched so many different carnivore videos and I kept hearing about all of the wonderful, amazing things that were happening for different people. So I wanted to see what, if anything, would change for the better in my future. I tend to be a skeptic. But I do want to thank you for what you’ve been doing. These videos are inspiring to stay the course. I have a long course as I need to lose about 100 lbs. so inspiration really helps.

HI and you are welcome and thanks for watching :)
for the 100 lbs the old saying one step at a time and one day at a time is so so true and soon enough you will be looking back going WOW !
that is awesome to hear about the eye floaters and how quickly they got better :)
and of course all the other things
I hear ya on a skeptic as there is SO much info that is NOT correct sadly and sometimes trying all these "other" things takes time like I did to find health and the fact this is so demonized and we are told do not do this yet when we do as you know now we find health and vitality a new look on life and so so so many get off meds etc.
does make me even more skeptical of all the other lies we are being fed to what is good for us what is healthy
again one day at a time and look forward to hearing more :)

61 y/o male, 326 lbs, I started carnivore on December 15th 2023. I also decided to put aside all alcohol.
    Today: January 2nd, 2023. I have lost 12 lbs (314 lbs).
I feel so full and satisfied after I eat that I only need to have 2 meals a day. I'm pretty sure I could easily do with only 1 meal a day.
The pain that I always have in my left knee is down by at least 60%.
My skin issues are noticeably getting easier to deal with.
Starting to sleep more soundly every night.
The only negative thing so far is my digestive system is taking some time to adjust, but I hear that can take up to a month or so. I'm not worried about that.
P.S. Not bad for 2 weeks
    P.S.S. I need a deep freeze

I’m 74 and ate anything and almost everything all my life. Fortunately, I didn’t get hooked on sugar, just grains. I have been carnivore one month. I’ve already lost ten pounds and I’m curious to see what else changes! Right now, I’m stiff, have sinus issues, a chronic cough and a lack of energy. Headaches have begun but I think I can blame all those issues on the terrible summer we’ve had. I’ll keep you posted. Thank you for the videos!

My energy is up. No headaches no hiccups. Keep going you’ll see changes 😊 I put salt in water if I start to get a headache and it goes right away.

Charlotte please do keep updates :) one month is still pretty early many even have no difference that first month or longer so might take a while for the cough and energy to come back
on the energy some find electrolytes help or just upping water intake
if you do electrolytes be careful of ones with sweeteners and try to avoid those if you can:)
the headaches might be the keto flu sometimes hits us differenttimes and how much it does effect each one of us :)
thanks so much and hold on will get better and hope the sinuses clear but that again might take a little while as not everything is super fast :)

And no more abdominal bloating. Toughest hurdle has been my husband, who is a big oatmeal, bread guy--still thinks that and a giant glass of grapfruit juice everyday is going to help him lose weight and reduce cholesteral--we'll see. Really looking forward to seeing the additional positive effects others have experienced.

i do say its a lot of mental hitting that point or just saying OK today I do it !
that ONLY comes from deep inside each of us who do this
but once you do the momentum once we start to notice the change can be mind blowing and keep us going
so the first few weeks or for some months waiting for that does take some will power to just make it happen which is that mental side :)

After losing 100 lbs. I was expecting to buy new clothes, but was surprised I had to buy new shoe 😅. Divorce - several of my patients and several colleagues who are obesity or bariatric surgeons have all said they were amazed at the number of divorces. For example one lady said her husband was half the man he was, she want the old husband back. Another lady complained he husband lost so much weight, now he wants sex every week, before it was only a few times a year. Guess she didn't like it. One lady that lost 140+ pounds, then got breast and skin surgery said she felt like a whole new person with new wants, goals and desires in life, therefore no longer matched correctly with her husband of 20 yrs so they got divorced. The numbers of divorces within these groups of people with major weight loss has been a real surprise. And YES, many who were single now felt the confidence to go get married. I've come to learn a person with massive weight / health changes, becomes a changed person. Their actions, emotions, wants and desires in life change along with the physical appearance. Hormone changes play a major roll in emotions.

thanks and hahahahaha about the shoe it took me a bit to figure out I went down a size because of fat feet and almost a 1.5 size really Since I just buy the same shoes I thought they had changed at first when I got a new pair! love the Altra zero-drop trail shoes! I do miss bare feet and cheap thin slippers of the island life but hiking in those in AZ has way to many thorns in my feet
that is so sad about divorce never heard that! truly wild to hear but can see it
of course, well said about the hormones and emotions and how we change person
I do know since I have super strong faith that has kept me super grounded and more back to what I was and I think often any faith one has to lean on can be a huge thing to handling the mental side of this change we go through or even getting through it!
when I look at my life I had a rough 15 years was married before it started and maybe that helped as I am really just back to the old person she married ( sure that makes sense)

@@MinimalistCarnivore yes funny but true. I had a lot of edema (swelling / water retention) therefore had to buy a wide width shoe, obviously feet don't change in length so I wear the same length, but now had to go to a normal width for comfort. small detail people don't think about. Yes, divorce is sad and happy event, all depends on the reasons. Right? Think many obese, sick or persons lacking in energy are more likely to stay in a bad or even abusive relationship feeling no one else will want them. However, once they restore the energy, power, strength, health,.....they feel "free", no longer choosing to be where they are not truly happy. Plus, many women tell me guys are starting to look at them who never noticed them in the past. Love God and faith but it is double edge sword. Seen far too many ladies stay with an abusive drunk guy because the pastor told her to have faith and that God only gives us the loads we can carry. Well, after many years in the military, can tell you he also gave us to eyes to see the danger and two legs to run, jejejeje.

I have a saying that people will always tell you who they are; you just have to be willing to listen.
Similar to that is I have found that when I am in whatever kind of relationship with a not-so-good person, God will tell me to get out. Sometimes in dreams, sometimes with a scripture that keeps coming to mind, and sometimes both.
I think if more people listened to God, there would be fewer abusive relationships.

I have been doing Keto for 2 years and started Carnivore on March 17th 2023. I am feeling amazing. My joint pains are gone, and I no longer need to go to the chiropractor. Indigestion is gone as well. I started doing press-ups, and in the first week, I did 35 per day, which was 5 more than I usually do. I have steadily increased the number every day and did 70 within a few days, I can't believe it!
What I added was boron, which was suggested by, Dr. Suresh Khidwadker, one of the many doctors I follow on UA-cam. That took it to another level. I am 67 years young and will never eat vegetables again. No carbs, absolutely no carbs. I have not put sugar in my coffee or tea for at least 40 years.
Another effect of this diet is that the plaque on my teeth has completely gone. After about a week, I could feel it coming off, a very strange sensation. Additionally, I no longer have bleeding gums. I only take thyroxine for my underactive thyroid. I hope to get off of it over the next year on this diet.
    Update 17th August.
Recently someone said they now had no ear wax!! I was sceptical but I can confirm this is another effect of a carnivore diet. Strange but true.

Thank you for this. I've been carnivore for only about a week and down 3 kilos and have never experienced such mental clarity as I do now. Maybe it's only a pink cloud but whatever it is I'm enjoying it. Also my tinnitus, which lately was so loud it woke me up at night, has been greatly reduced. I'm feeling better than I have in a long time. I still have a long way - 25 kilos - to go but so far everything is great. I do eat a lot, and often, but only meat (including fish and chicken), cheese, eggs, bone broth. I'm gathering that eventually my appetite will subside but as long as things improve the way they have been I'm fine with whatever.

Had blood test week before I started July 1, and cann't wait to get my next one after my 90 day "protocol". BTW, I've already lost the weight , and looking forward to a fabulous dental and eye exams.

I became consistently low carb (less than 50 g a day) in 2017, but last year I went the extra step and tried carnivore for most of the year. The most striking side effect, almost immediate, was the return of the morning wood. I'm not sure to remember at what point in my life it had disappeared, but it's back now, and it's a nice feeling.

Im 52. I started caring about myself a few years before turning 50. I eventually found carnivore. Crazy is I have done carnivore gone back to sad and done halfway carnivore with too much dairy.
I'm technically mostly healthy. Doing actual carnivore my allergies were perfectly gone, no skin tags, body odor pretty much gone, knees fine, losing weight. Basically lovely.
I can't cheat sleep on carnivore and whenever co-parenting mucked up my eating and sleep schedule i had some sad stuff. Yesterday I was running on no sleep and no energy. Fir example and carbs in a meal was a pick me up. Anyway whenever i had my sad bouts, i caught a cold/ COVID. Didn't test. Got a skin tag in my armpit and dandruff in my beard. Basically last school year with my kid i was doing a few sad meals a week but the holidays really hit me off carnivore. Like i was mostly meat based in philosophy but didn't take care to do right most of the time. Recently i had been carnivore with like a half gallon of milk a day. Dog if my skin wasn't great and allergies hit me late in the evening. So quick results. I only had cream and sugar in my coffee today. Oh yeah. Sad makes unpleasant poops. Anyway. Today i am a reformed man. Just the coffee, a little beef and a tea with salt and a half stick of butter. My guts are settling. My knee doesn't know its about to rain and i can breathe easy. Im pretty sure if i chug a half gallon of milk, which is very easy to go through over the course of a day, ill get some sad symptoms. Not all of them.
A friend of mine recently had weight loss surgery. I feel like if I'd have been more serious about my own health and stayed proper carnivore my example would have been more convincing.
On the bo thing. Ive had occasion to miss showering some days. Before carnivore that would have been unthinkable. Whenever im on strict carnivore im confident for a few hours after the shower with just using Coco butter in my armpits rather than deodorant. I do use deodorant. Basically there were times before carnivore where no amount of showers and deodorant mattered because i just stank. If i stink now i know ive been off my menu too much. If my poop ain't right or my skin flakes i know I went too far. The other day i felt an ache. Yep i ate inflammatory rather than anti-inflammatory.
Low self esteem not treating myself my best. Thats over now. Im in a band. I play the trombone well. However my vocals are hindered if im not physically on. I can't have dairy and carbs and a clear enough airway to reliably attack the notes. Im sliding around hunting them. So for my art im going full butter salt meat water. Hopefully to be freed of any physical impediment and get to learning technique. Also, being sad too much mucks up the stage appearance and choreography. One minor issue with carnivore is the clothes fit baggy and my pants fall down.

    • @MinimalistCarnivore
      @MinimalistCarnivore  7 місяців тому +1

      thanks for that :)
the pants to big :) time for stage pants ;) hahahahah
what is funny when I started losing I did NOT think I would ever get back to the weight size of my 20s and 30s so I bought some cloths and sure enough dropped more lbs and inches and had to buy more again :) and the previous were sadly just to big to look normal
I do think the falling off eating sad often makes some come back stronger as they have that experience of knowing what happens and feeling it :)

Carnivore was a miracle for me. I was suffering terribly from the unexpected loss of our daughter, and my father. I was in a downward spiral. No hope. I was sinking fast. One day, my husband suggested that we eat only meat. Our household began carnivore the next day. We've been carnivore for three months now. We have been living what seems like a brand new phase of living! Faith. Hope. Joy. Health. Love. Smiling. Laughing. We are GLOWING in this house together! Carnivore is the lifestyle doctors won't tell you about! I'm 59 years old, and probably the healthiest now, than I've ever been!
It is really strange to clean out the cupboard and refrigerator of all the toxic foods. How am I still alive after eating nothing but poisoned foods for so many years.
I literally was loosing my mind and health eating the foods on our shelves! We cleaned out everything! It is a different kitchen! Cleaned up and out! Clear out anything packaged. Anything that is not animal based. Cleaned up, and out of sight. I do not miss junk food. I do not miss all the pretty boxes and bright colors of the merchandise that grabs your attention and gives you no nutritional value whatsoever. Twenty years ago, a doctor told me not to eat fruit from the grocery store! I should have listened then.... But it's never too late to start carnivore! Try it for three months. You will look unrecognizable to EVERYONE you know! Amen.

I do lean on faith and while some might not have the same faith I do joke Moses walked the desert for 40 years I walked as a fat guy for 15 years
the idea I would get out some day or this fat me had a reason is tough to grasp but the faith does make me think OK down the line there will be a reason I often think some of this is sharing and I hate to say helping others as they are helping themselves on this but maybe sharing my journey helps as I know I had very few in the start and now I am sharing more it really does help know we are not alone in this “crazy” way of eating as we are told it is
and it has made my faith stronger as I am way more involved in the Church now and my faith has grown
like resisting sin is tough resisting junk food and stuff is tough so in that sense also I know I can do this even if I fall I will have grace and get back going

@@MinimalistCarnivore that’s really great to hear about your faith and we are the same in this regard. Born again in 2019! I agree faith is so crucial. Not just faith in the cross but faith also to lean on Him to get us through the trials and temptations we come across in our walks. I’ve been overweight since childhood and have lost major weight before but ended up gaining it all back. It does feel different this time, carnivore has simplified my life greatly and when I don’t have a headache I feel absolutely incredible and energized. I think the community we have pushes our success. You can read testimonies for a week solid and barely scratch the surface of just how many people are thriving on carnivore. Something else I’ve noticed is the amount of fellow believers I’ve come across on UA-cam and in real life who are also carnivore. Maybe through coincidence but I like to think it’s more Gods providence bringing us near to those who we can relate to, not only on a spiritual level but a physical level as well. Thank you so much brother for sharing your faith with me, made my day and greatly encouraged me. May the Lord continue to bless you my friend.

I do think what some face a life time of weight and folks like me maybe who at least a good portion of life were in good shape face different battles and mental struggles

After almost seven months I've had most of the changes you talk about. Dandruff was the first sign things were changing. Body odour became worse for about a week but then disappeared altogether. The other interesting thing for me was that I used to get frequent fungal infections and shingles outbreaks, but none in the last six months. Sleep has improved immensely, from barely getting 5 hours to being able to sleep 8 to 10 hours without a problem. As for mental health, which is the main reason I went carnivore, I've been able to stop taking two of the three medications I was on (NB I have monthly medical supervision), also stopped blood pressure and acid reflux medications as no longer required. If things go well I'm hoping to remove the last of the medication by year's end. The only issues I've had is with dairy - it is highly addictive for me, so I've given it up completely for a while to see how things go. Thank you for your content and work.

2 years on carnivore and completely cured of 15 year long ME/CFS which left me completely bedridden for a time and then homebound. Joint pains all gone, no more brain fog or fatigue. Long term tendonitis healed, no more migraines, heartburn gone.
You are right about still being able to stub a toe or get minor problems. I have been lucky enough to have flu and then bronchitis since December. The extended bed rest made me have a sciatica flare and it hurts like mad! But hubby is creating my OMAD carnivore meals and I know I will recover more quickly and soon be back outside wth my horses and gardening which I couldn't do for years.
Feeling healthy is wonderful but at 65 I'm delighted to have lost weight and be able to wear the same clothes I was wearing as a young adult (and not look stupid!) I agree about the hair colour. I use hair dyes but I noticed my regrowth recently was not grey. So many benefits to carnivore.

I can corroborate a few things that happened to me as you describe happened to you. 1. No sunburn. 2. elimination of skin tags. 3. more comfortable in hot weather. This summer I heard people complaining it was too hot. I thought the weather was amazing and enjoyed being outside. 4. The skin on my feet is so much better. I used to have thick pads of dead skin on the ball of my foot and under the big toes, and under the heels. I used to have to trim the dead skin weekly. A few months of carnivore, and it peeled off. It was inconceivable, it just peeled off in thick pieces. Now my feet have strong skin but not dead, dry skin. I can feel my socks. 4. I used to get sinus infections for months. Which meant nasal congestion and sometimes blood in the nasal mucus when I would blow my nose, and sinus drip into the back of my throat. That is gone. Just gone. My doctor used to tell me it was allergy to pollen and dust. Not a problem any more. 5. I am seeing better. I used to wear progressive trifocals eyeglasses because I couldn't see near, middle, and far distance with a single focal distance lens. Now I can wear single focus lenses, which are much less expensive, and my eyes are able to shift from near (like reading computer screens) to far (like seeing traffic when driving my car). I still cannot see very near, as you describe, so I have to take my glasses off to read my smartphone.

Thanks for your great content, style of communicating and unique take on Carnivore!
I’m just a month and a half in but anxiety is gone. Even and steady energy level. Most importantly I’m not a slave to hunger! Down 10 pounds. Energy level to lift weights and swim are off the charts. Injured myself because I felt so strong. Try not to do that! Slow and steady. Body is reshaping itself. More muscles already. 🎉 Carnivore diet took some initial adjustments. Fun to tweak especially when tweaks make things better. Finally, when eating non-carnivore I usually pay for it some way usually with indigestion or discomfort. Friends I haven’t seen in a while notice a difference immediately. Biggest takeaway is when you don’t eat enough fat the diet doesn’t really work but the amount of fat needed is unique to each individual. Just figure out your sweet spot!
