The problem you can't comprehend is these are stock cars, you are watching modified cars vs stock hellcats lol. Also, do some research and look up 18+ Hellcats. They have a trans tune and are making more boost.... which you didn't know either. Zl1s and Z06 stock make around 560 wheel, the 650 wheel and the 634 torque the new cats make with the trans is too much for those cars "stock" it's not rocket science man. That's literally 90 wheel horsepower difference and around 80 wheel torque difference.....Think about it. I just showed you a video from a ZL1 owner and you still deny reality 😆
Manual 1LE is about the worst LT4 camaro to try and roll race. A better race would be a10 normal ZL1. That should be a bit closer but the hellcat is always going to win stock for stock. Once 10speed ZL1 drops into 7th, its all over for it. They are dogs on the top end.
He was downshifting but probably had so start in 2nd or 3rd to hook, which makes the gears look even longer. I think it’s the aero that’s the problem here. He was shifting pretty quick tho. Both cars battles traction but had good consistent runs which is the important thing. Hate when people say “I beat this and I beat that” off of one run, and never consistently repeat the outcome
The driver is fine, sounds likes he's using NLS. The hellcat with an auto is just faster.. and the ZL1 with the 1LE wing does no favors top end. 10-Speed ZL1 will be much closer but don't be surprised if the Hellcat still wins.
