bro is the king of physical media, good job also, i don't know if those floppy need to be archived, but just in case, do better to archive something twice than wait for the only floppy left to rot
I managed to get PVZ running on Windows 2000, which I think is impressive considering the year it came out. Also, can confirm, it took me a while to figure out that the format command is on the CD. I couldn't understand why fdisk didn't auto-format so I took the HDD out of the machine I was working on and formatted it with a USB adapter on a modern computer. Doing that over and over got old pretty fast. I was also happy to learn you can copy the CD files to the HDD and run the setup from there.

I loved tuning these older PCs. Because there was just a shocking amount of head room compared to system currently. Double too triple the performance was possible. Silicon lottery was alot rougher then tho. But if they still run now they are likely one of the better units.

However, the Windows 98 CD-ROM contains the format option... just "CD" to the WIN98 folder on the CDROM and run the format command. I also need to add that if you create a new partition with FDISK, you can run Windows Setup from CD while booting (run Windows Setup from CD option on the bootdisk), the textbased portion of setup wil format it for you.
