We saw Allen last fall here in Houston. My boyfriend got us priority passes where we got to meet, talk to and experience his show front row! His preconcert private show for about 30 of us fans was so great, he talked about his music and traveling around and was wearing the craziest workout clothes with his hair all in a messy bun ......this man has more talent in his little finger than a lot of the folks out there now...a true artist with a genuine warm heart, no fake there! We stood in line to meet him and he took the time to chat a minute with each person....his hugs were tight and warm and I’ll never forget it! Oh and he’s taller than you’d think!
Jamie Lidell's background vocals are tops. There is no better.

Man, Jamie Lidell is the best backing vocalist. I've just discovered him through Allen and the dude has sweet technique. About Allen, he is an extremely talented guy with an extraordinary voice.
Its funny about Jamie; He has such a soulful voice and gifted technically aswell.. just didnt get the big break. Check out the album "Jim" (another day, wait for me).

They really need to start outlawing phones at all venues world wide so people can just be there in the moment and experience these shows like we used to do before this bs technology ruined everything. I mean really... you're seeing the brilliant Allen Stone live and up close and personal, and you're basically splitting your focus between him and your phone? Makes no sense to me... Sorry, rant over ;-)
