I love what Vicki said. "I became a teacher not so I could teach everyone to read and write and do math. I became a teacher so I could send better humans out into the world that were loving and kind to make the world a better place." I can only imagine how different our world would be if every teacher had these skills and that attitude. 💚💙💜

Where have you been all my life?!?! I am so thankful that God has led me to actually open a video “the making of a bully”. I got so emotional watching it and had to share with everyone! I want to learn as much as I can! My daughters headstart is using your methods. I think everyone everywhere should listen and learn your methods! This needs to be taught to new and old parents! I am 41 and I want to relearn everything I was taught. Oh , how I wish I found you when I had my first child 23 years ago but now with my 3 yr old we adopted I can make her world so much better ❤️

I'm a new headstart teacher around the age of your first child and I know if my parents had known and used this method things would be very different! They are very loving people but the conscious discipline methodology really builds on that foundation of love we have with our kiddos. I'm SUPER excited to see a generation of kids raised with this by the teachers who are asked use it and parents like you who find it too

I commit to try to remember to say "You have been hurt enough, you are safe I will not hurt you". I will commit to saying she/he did not know what to do. This last commitment reminds the school family that the skill is missing and needs to be taught. #ilovcd

I wished my teachers , understood this . Cause I was mischievous kid, but deep down (even now relationships is such a strange thing) i was yelled at and shamed and same repeated at home due to complaints from the school. I am messed up , hope others have better time at school and teachers have more resources to deal with some like me.

I will use these strategies with the children in my classroom, at times we do have disruptive behaviors
