How to fix Electrolux/AEG error code E10

It's two common fault that gives the error code E10.
1. A dirty water intake filter on back of the machine.
2. A loose hose inside the machine.

You absolute legend.
Some how my pipe came loose. Stuck that bastard back in place with a cable tie & now my washing machine works.
Service team did not visit, ordered parts, and took 2 weeks to schedule what took me 2 minutes, 2 screws, and a youtube search. Thank you. :)

Lack of sleep combined with TV stopped working, sons PC is acting up, and now the washing machine giving me an error code E10 all on the same day, I was ready to run away. Have Electrolux ewf14922 9kg washer
Threw out E10 error with flooding of water in the drum
Did everything the manual suggested including cleaning the drain filter, intake water filter and cleaning dispenser tray - no dice
Popped the top off and sure enough the the bloody hose was off with a flimsy metal part which barely held it in place

I have elektrolüx 1286 washing machine. My machine got e10 error code and began to throw water from the detergent container. I am appreciate to you for this video. This realy worked and my machine turn to normal.

I had exactly this problem back in 2013, in less than a year after byuing this machine.
This seems to be a small design-flaw of this type. Mine is a: EWF1486HDW
Last time I first tried to fix it just by re-attaching the hose, but then the hose popped off just a few weeks later.
Then I used a small strip to fasten the hose. Since then, it has worked perfectly since.
Until today...
Now the same issue occured. The machine filles with a lot of water, and after a while the error code E10 appears.
When I opened my machine, I looked down at an old friend:
The loose hose :)
After fasten it once more with a new strip, I hope my machine will last for even a few years.
When waiting for the spinn/drain program to run, I looked at youtube to see if anyone already had made a video for this, and found this video.
Nice to see that this video has been out for a while, hopefully helping other people with the same issue that is very easy to solve. :)
I had a similar issue, water fills up all the way to the top and I am getting an E10 error, I am having to drain it then it works
As mine works after draining, Could it still be the same issue? Or if the hose was disconnected then it would it not work at all?

I was dissappointed when i saw my hose was right where it should be, but then i saw one of water intake valve socket broken, the wires were disconnected and just hanging, i did connect them and now my machine works fine! thanks!

thank you so much, my washing machine just kept overfilling until it hit E10, cleaning the drains and filters didn't help. it would drain just fine when putting it on the draining-program.
after opening the lid the hose was indeed off and after putting it back on it works again.

It was exactly the problem with the hose had slupped off and after your video my husbund fixed it easily.
Yes found the tube was loose but was actually a support spring that broke which dropped drum lower. Bit of a pain put spring was cheap but took 2 hours to fix at my newbie rate.

Thanks John, great no bullshit vid, inspected the little hose connection with blue box, all ok but removed the water filler hose and the filter is totally corroded so will be off the the appliance parts shop tomorrow, cheers for your knowledge

Thx for a nice tip. For me E10 came because the filter in my water-intake was full of shit. Had to disconnect the water-hose and clean the filter. Done in 1 min and everything works good now :)

Thanks for information was very helpful. My problem was same code and The outlet pipe for the waste water had detached from inside the machine (Access via a panel on the bottom of machine).

E10 is a family code. Got E12 after diagnosing. And the issue was the same as here!😃
Helt kongle :) Det var akkurat det som var feil. Dette berget dagen min nå, og ikke minst tid og penger spart :) Var på tur ut døra for å kjøpe ny slange med vannstopper, men tok en kopp kaffe og søkte på You Tube. Takker så meget :)
For me, my intake hose was loose outside the machine.
Good suggestion though, I'm not going to dislike it simply because it didn't work for me unlike many others...

Thanks 👍👍 My machine also keeps filling when this happens so the water is pouring out from the drawer where the washing powder goes. Can't see anyone mentioning this so I hope I don't have a different problem.
If your machine keeps adding water, and then shows error 10 with too much water in the machine, this is probably the fix. Pressure sensor tube gets loose very easily. Very easy fix indeed.
Hello there! It is very gracious of you to post such a helpful video and it’s obvious from the comments that you’ve saved lots of time and money for many folks :-) I thought you might have a clue to “my kind of E10” problem and will be kind enough to share. So, after my eww1696swd baby normally finishes a washing cycle and moves on to drying, 10-15 min into drying E10 error interrupts the course :-( while when on wash&dry in 60min cycle it washes and dries properly till the end of the cycle. I tried diagnostics reset and for some reason the very first time after that it worked even on cottons (yesterday), but today it’s back to E10 and reset does not help anymore. You seem to be a very bright mind in this area.. do you have any idea why this is happening?
Only tip I have is to check the warer inlet hose filter. You just unscrew the water hose from the machine, and clean the filter. If doesn't help, I don't know. Sorry 😕.

Hi - my machine stops in the middle of the prgram and has to be restarted which means that it takes in water when restarted. Is this possible if the problem is a loose hose like you show or does that mean that the machine can not start at all?
