I like your take on the QB heavy top ten, Rome fell to us last year at 9. Depending on our take and the offer, we could still move back with our needs in the trenches. I wouldn't take the corner at 10 no matter what. We have a lock down corner and an above average secondary. As tempting as it is, we have to focus on our line needs first.
Im not a fan of excuses however, I think the Bears would’ve won that Super Bowl in 06 despite Grossman if they weren’t missing all pros Mike Brown and Tommie Harris. Nobody talks about it but, the Colts had all their best players available and all they could do mostly was dump it to Addai in the flat for ~ 10 yards. Brown would’ve snuffed that out
They can come out of this draft doing very well in either situation. Adam, what do you think about Alabama IOL Tyler Booker if he drops to the Bears in the 2nd round?
Tyson Bagent i think 🤔 gets traded this off-season. Alot of National Hype now. People talk about how good he is. Bagent is ready to start and i would definitely say would be a Top 5 QB in this class easy. Still young so instead of going Top 10 for Whomever. Trade a 4th Rd pick or more for Bagent and name him your starter 🤷 If GB hadn't went and got Favre, we never know. Think of other backups who finally got a shot and snapped. Cousins i think is a good comp to what Bagent can be career wise.
IK Jalon Walker doesn't fit our defense, but that dude is a beast & absolutely game wrecker. Trade Edmunds & you can line him up on the Edge or in the middle.
Yeah Now People are Saying the ND St kid is Center1 😅🤷 They don't know. He did amazing in 1v1's. Purdue LT Mbow could be a really good Center but they kept him at LT from what i saw. Played Teammate and Purder Center Gus Hartwig. He's a Udfa now a best, was beat over and over and showed he doesn't have Nfl strength. Why Centers should be learning how to LS.
I honestly don't want them to to take a OT at #10, if those guys are predicted to be Guards in the league. I don't want to see them getting a Guard at that spot.
If Brisker still can't leave him house a few weeks before the draft. I may trade him or agree on a buyout so he can retire. If we are in that spot and can Draft Starks, a Jamal Adams type Safety 😳. A guy who is gonna make everyone better being a Superstar. We need treches bad. What if we have Signed Zeitler and Sweat? We don't Need DE, Can hold off on a Guard/DT spot until Rd 2 where we have 2 picks. Just...Do you scout him to be that level of player? What's the plan with Brisker. They will offer a 5th to see if he gets better. Ok. It's his last year under contract anyway so don't expect much. Js, Do Not Take Starks off your board. He is a Blue 🔵 and if there are no other blue 🔵, not a great tradeback deal. I wouldn't hate it
I don't mind the trade down. But only if Abdul Carter, Ashton jenty, and Mason Graham are not there. Otherwise you take one of those guys. Next year is the offensive line heavy draft.
Everything is basically laid out on a silver platter for the Bears. Trey Smith connection with Poles. Khalil Mack connection with the Bears. Or Chase Young connection with our DC and Sweat. How this year's OL draft class is only worth taking in the 2nd round. The best RB in a very long time in Ashton Jeanty is prejected to be drafted at around where the Bears draft at pick 10. The history of the Bears going nowhere without a powerful RB. The fact that Trey Smith plus picks 39 and 41 alone will fix the OL even if you trade down one of the picks which is what I usually do in my mock drafts.
Good video as always. I was wondering if you could do a scenario video if Ian Cunningham gets the GM job in Jacksonville with the extra 3rd round pick.
I think bears need to identify top picks worthy of #10 and take them of they are there or fall to that spot. If mason graham falls then you take him. But if no one is worthy then you trade down for an extra 2-4th rounder cause there are so many guys stacked in that range that we could take. We need backups too. How many times we see jenkins get injured and dont have a good guard behind him. Maybe we have some that are ok but there isnt a backup guard that is as good as jenkins when he is fully healthy. We need good backups for the defensive line too. RB, TE, safety. We need these too and 2-4th rounds is the perfect spot to draft those guys. I would not be surprised if Bears draft walter nolan. He was a top prospect out of high school and always ranked high. That ole miss defense was excellent at applying pressure. I think his measurables at the combine will determine where he will be drafted. I think so far he is likely to go mid-first round but could go higher if he continues to impress
i am very intrigued by kenneth grant. he’s a monster and has huge upside. i still hope we somehow get mason graham but grant might be a great consolation prize.
@@Beardownsportsgraham is #1 for me but grant is 2. i’m with consensus on those 2. tyliek is an intriguing nose tackle. i don’t see nolan’s upside. he’s great against the run but that’s college. will he hold up at 285? i doubt it. i can’t think of any great run stuffers that are sub 310. maybe they are out there.
how do you feel about James Pearce? he is so intriguing. the upside is micah parson. downside is Leonard floyd. i've thought the bears could do the following: Draft pearce and let him play LB on early downs and move him to edge on passing downs. Base: DE: dexter DT: Billings DT: another very big guy (tyliek Williams) DE: Sweat Passing downs: DE: Pearce DT: Sweat DT: Walker DE: Booker That type of defense crushes it against the run and has a lot of juice against the pass as well. But i could see keeping Darrell Taylor and doing the same thing. These are the type of "exotic" creative fronts and personnel packages i hope to see out of Allen that we'd never see out Vanilla Flus defenses.
So Dart watching film 🎥 had the worst OL play I've seen a Nfl prospect have in a while 😳💯 People keep saying 6-4 240 about the Ohio State QB 😅🤷 So both could fly up boards.
Dream off-season for the OL for me is sign Trey Smith & Drew Dalman for depth sign Dan Skipper at LT kick Kiran into G to develop. I’d package Braxton & Swift together for an extra draft pick. Then in the draft trade down draft Josh Simmons LT OSU 2nd round draft Donovan Jackson LG OSU. Then with the other 2nd round pick I draft Omarion Hampton RB UNC.
Tez Johnson i been saying Bears 🐻😢. Now everyone sees what i did F***. Not gonna be there Rd 3. Tez is Elite at Return which is what got me looking at him. Then i watched his in and outs. Elite stop and go, Elite Route Running. He's your Gadget Yac WR. He's not Velus he can actually track the 🏈 in the air. 😂🤷 So he's a WR.
Will Cambell imo has fallen into the 20's. Thebother Lsu T looks like Borom 😅🤷😳 Draft Hype!!!! Did you see the Bull Rush where Cambell gets thrown in the air at LG and lands on his back?!?! 😅 Bro!!!! That will take you off my board 😅. The Small school State kid. Wentz..uhh ND St. Faced the same guy who picked up and threw Cambell. He wasn't moved 😳 Trust your eyes, forget the Hype!!!
Didn't Zach Wilson shoot up the boards out of nowhere in 2021? Granted, he had crazy tools like arm strength and mobility, that I doubt anyone in this draft has.

There is no way shedur makes it past the raiders. And I’m not saying that bc I like him bc I’m not super high on any of these qb’s including shedur. But the raiders need a qb the jets need a qb. I don’t think anyone is trading up for Milroe at 10 or dort
I can agree with this, but nobody knows what'll happen on draft day until draft day. But usually it is the other way, teaks are overdrafting the QB's and will leave the Bears with a great 1st pick
@ I’m honestly just really hoping to get kelvin banks. It’s a need and hopefully sign the falcons center (brain farting on his name) and Trey smith in free agency then go d line in the second round
HEAR ME OUT! We get G Trey Smith and C Drew Dalman in FA - we extend G Tevin Jenkins on a prove it deal (great when healthy) grab EDGE Shemar Stewart and a OL with 39 and 41. Take Jeanty at 10. Solves our OL (only “weak” spot would be Braxton but he’s been improving) Frees up up to take whatever at 72 and maybe even trade a pick next year to come back in and grab another 2nd or 3rd rounder!
We literally don't have the cap space to get Smith, Dalman, and Jenkins and then we couldn't sign 7 other players needed just to have a 53 man roster ... On top of that Ashton Jeanty is an over-hyped RB that can't move laterally. I can't understand the infatuation here with a player that won't help us
@ I’d rather not take Jeanty at 10. My other more probable scenario I have is similar FA wise but we take a OT or EDGE at 10 or trade back to the teens to pickup another 2nd because both DL and OL are deep this year. Then we use 2 of the 2nds on another OL/DL and use the 3rd on Judkins or Kaleb Johnson and then our 3rd rounder would be a WR. We also do have enough cap there is so much wiggle room to play with contracts. Ex. A 4 year 80 million could be 50 Guaranteed with 10 Million the first year , 20 the second 20 the 3rd and 30 the 4th. They also can pay people bonuses and lower their cap hit that way as well. We also have a few players we could cut to save decent money (Bates, Walker, Everett) is that better?
@ I have G Trey Smith at a 4 years 80M with 55M Guaranteed , C Drew Dahlman at 4 years 44 Million with 28M Guaranteed and as for Jenkins if we can’t get him for less than 12M then we let him go and shoot for Tyler Booker but I don’t want him at 10 I’d try to trade with Seattle or Cincinnati and take him there. I also would like to see us grab a cheap WR maybe Elijah Moore - let Keenan walk and bring back Collin Johnson on a 1 year deal.
@ItsHester Bears have $55MM spendable +/- on free agents. Either way, it's absolutely asinine to target Jeanty. Franchise crippling mistake with what's available in this draft on DLine and O Line
Milroe and Dart are not worthy of a top 10 pick. I can see the Pitt trade. They've seen Russell and he's cooked at this point. I think they like Fields, but Tomlin is on the hot seat and having Shadeur could buy him some time. Fields would not be an expensive signing for 1 year.
Would you please drop the “best player available” NONSENSE.. The Bears MUST focus on offensive line to save Caleb’s life. Under either of 2 scenarios you discuss there will be a day one starter for offensive line avaialable at #10. Trading down to 21 for future draft considerations at this juncture in rebuild is ridiculous. We need at least 4 day one starters NOW for O line. IF we’re lucky, we get 2 in draft and 2 in free agency.
i really hope we stay away from these olineman in R1. they ain’t worth it. oline in r2 has some legit talent and value. d jackson, jonah s, zabel, etc are all great 2nd round prospects

Could push the value of #10, and we can get more on a trade down
"Put that over his head" 😂
Trade back twice get more second round picks and load up on a late first round and four second rounds in third rounds
I would love to see a trade like the Steelers possible one.
It's a long shot, but it happened to the Giants with us, and all it takes is some QB falling like Shedeur Sanders...
