I’ve never seen anyone doing a reaction to a traditional Bulgarian song, so seeing this video was something new! That’s great!
Well, this dance is typical for South-West parts of Bulgaria. Bulgaria usually splits over 6different regions 1.The south region, 2.Dobrudja(in the south-east) 3Trace(where it can be found in the central parts of Bulgaria) 4.Shopski Region(where again some central parts are within such as the capital city of Bulgaria -Sofia) 5.Rhodope region (in south Bulgaria) 6. Pirinski Region (south-west Bulgaria)
Each Region has its own style of dance, style of singing( it could be the dialect/slang of the language) as well as traditional clothing varies. For example, in Rhodope Region where this Region mainly includes the Rhodope mountain, the weather there is colder and so the clothing is warmer, therefore the dance movements used in Bulgarian Rhodope dances( all Bulgarian traditional dances are called “horo”) they are not as dynamic, diverse and fast.
Moving on to the question with the napkins and why they do this. Well, it is apart of the dance figure where it diversifies the dance play. Usually as I mention that each region has its own thing, in some regions the use of arms is more frequent. At the same time, when dancing, more often in the women performances with their arms they draw figures. They can illustrate the picking of flowers happening at a rose valley and so on.
Nikolina Chakrdukova’s song “Svatba e” translates to “Its a wedding” and basically she is singing about the bride and the husband as well as the wedding orchestra as I don’t know if you are aware but at Bulgarian weddings there is also traditional music. So as a whole she is singing about a Big Balkan song and the process of the wedding as well as the positive emotions.

Chad, you're quite right with your knowledge of BG traditional music - impressed!
Nikolina is still more on the mainstream side of the folk music, because she's quite popular and she had to adapt her songs so they're not 100% pure folklore, but she's still quite traditional. You said that the music resembles pop-folk, but I beg to disagree. Pop-folk genre is more on the oriental, funny and party side, and isn't traditional for the area, it's just very popular. First pop-folk appeared in the last stages on communism, with Serbian singers. Pop-folk can be a synonym for "chalga".
Nikolina is just folk. She is from Goce Delchev town, South-Western Bulgaria, near Pirin mountain. Her songs are influenced by the area. This particular song is about a wedding and the accompanied festive and joyful mood about it. In the past times Bulgarian weddings, especially in small villages, consisted of the whole population of the village, with BIG "horos" (traditional dance of BG), a lot of music, a lot of people, etc.
It's interesting to explore different folk styles from BG, you should check what you can get here as suggestions. Rhodopa songs for example, are usually quite sad, because these regions were always poorer, with less agricultural activity, and a lot of slaughtering during Ottoman rule of BG. Folklore from Plovdiv regione, for example, is a lot more cheery, funny and joyful, as the region is quite fruitful, crafty and more or less very well economically even in the times of Ottoman rule in BG.
Of course I'm not historian so you can accept my comment with a grain of salt. Just explore the folkore, I'm sure it will be interesting to you.

** horo - Traditional dances in Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Serbia. The plural word is “hora”, and it differs from the word for “people” only in the stress of the vowel. The dances are in most cases in circle, and people hold hands or belts. The first dancer usually carries a towel in his free hand. In Serbia the word for the traditional dances sounds similar - “kolo” and also means “circle”.
