I had 8 hours in hong kong airport last week on my way home from Japan, i really like the airport, i did several laps of the terminal to get some excercise, the seats were comfy and there were greats food and shops, also its so clean! Ill definatley transit through there on my next trip it was a good airport.

Have you tried the airport shower???how does it work??

I actually have not used the shower at the airport. But I found this on the Hong Kong International Airport website www.hongkongairport.com/en/passenger-guide/airport-facilities-services/shower-facilities
Looks like they have all the amenities needed. Also, it is free to use unless you need something from the vending machine. Hope this helps!

Avoid Hainan Airlines. They gave me bad directions to the gate causing me to miss the plane. Refused to reschedule or refund. Probably a good idea to avoid HK these days. Financing the CCP is not a good idea.
