Jen, your hair looks lovely today. Oh boy.before I saw you bought it,I wanted that mug so bad maybe 3 of them. Also I have found that great people get great service. If you are nice and understanding and patient with your server who may be run off their feet, they will appreciate you and take care of you. It is important also to call them by their name, they are not servants, they are wonderful people who help make your day pleasant.

Cracker Barrel is usually a safe bet here in Pa. Not many good places to eat out here in Altoona.

I hadn’t been to a Cracker Barrel in years so my son and I decided to go a few weeks ago. Ordered the fried cod for myself; my son got the same thing you did Jen. Boy were we pleasantly surprised at how good it was! I also had the watermelon lemonade and it was delicious! Great review as always!

Nice that all your food was steaming hot. My go to meal at Cracker Barrel was always the turkey and dressing on Thursdays. But twice in a row, it was not hot; not even luke warm. I brought it to the server’s attention and they brought me another one that was not hot. The next time we went and it was lukewarm again, and I had concerns about keeping it back in the kitchen and not being hot enough and possibly getting a foodborne illness. So, we quit going, but then I needed my fix again for turkey and dressing and we went and everything was delicious. I love their dumplins so I will usually order a little side dish of dumplins as an appetizer. My husband loves their greens and will order a double side of greens.
We went yesterday for the new fall specials and sooooo good- 😊!

Yes! Finally figured that out!
I watch a young lady’s UTube videos weekly. She lives in PA and I’ve seen her prepare lots of meals. She doesn’t break her green beans, she puts them in a frying pan with a bit of oil, slightly heats them, and that’s all! I could not eat raw green beans! Of course, I would never add a negative comment, as that’s evidently the way they like their green beans. I like mine well cooked, the way you described preparing them. In fact, I think eating them the next day, left overs, are super delicious, almost better than the first day they are cooked!
I love Cracker Barrel, especially for breakfast. Your dinners looked so good. The fish and chicken entrees both looked so fresh and delicious. The biscuits looked fresh and the peach dessert looked good too. Thanks for the All American video featuring Cracker Barrel. Happy Fourth of July.

Went Halloween shopping today, so I'm glad to see Halloween out earlier this year.
I asked the Waiter for Peach Cobbler one day. He went & found me some in the Fridge & fixed it for me even though they weren’t supposed to have Peach Cobbler that Day. ❤

I enjoy watching you guys and seeing the plates available at these chain restaurants. My complaint w/ these restaurants is the obscene quantities of food they serve, I wish they would cut the quantities by 1/3 and drop the prices to match. I can never eat that much food. And w/ our obesity rates and budget issues, I just wish they would serve reasonable sized portions at reasonable prices. But that has nothing to do with you guys… thanks for your reviews 👍

Here in Jaxville I recently had their Maple Bacon Grilled Chicken. It was delish.
Plus, their watermelon lemonade was tasty. And their peach tea was really tasty. I just couldn't see paying $7.99 for a half gallon of watermelon lemonade.
I need to find a way to replicate it. 😅

Everything looked very good and hot. Big improvement on the way they served biscuits, in our experience they just brought out on a plate and then you had to ask for honey and jam. We always ask for ice cream on the side so it doesn’t melt, just our preference.
