I'm also an extreme tech and amp freak and like to modify and build tube amplifiers. That's why you'll also see some amp or guitar demos here.
Anyway, i hope you enjoy my videos, thank you for watching!

Sweet evh sounds. Finally a good 18 watt video!
this sounds incredible.
Sounds amazing
Sounds great!
killer sound, dig it.
Hey Guys,
due the many inquiries, I have now linked the schematic in the description. Feel free to grab it.
Cheers
Philipp
Thanks again for sharing!
Thanks. Although i don't see which power tubes are you using on the Schematic? EL84's I am guessing?
@@Lordofthethings2 EL84's
Thanks very much for Sharing it.
Just one doubt about it:
The 1M Log Stereo Pot is one Part in between the firt two Triodes (R45/1) and the other part at V3A Cathode (R11/2) or am I missing something?
@@flaconsiusYou got it! 👍
wow it sounds good i need that sound
Killer tone! I built one of these 18 watt marshalls a couple years ago, but mine sounds pretty mild compared to yours haha
Hi there!!! Incredible sound!!!! Very EVH grind!!! Could be possible to see the schematic?? Thank you very much...
Der Amp für Evh sound!
Good job!👍
Sounds great! Nice work. I have a couple of 18 watters as well, I'd be interested in seeing your schematic and layout.
Killer tone.
That would be cool. I built an 18 watt plexi with the Rockstah Mod5 changes. It was cool but the nice Plexi cleans went away so I converted it back to a standard plexi. I like the tone you have there. Otis8@sbcglobal.net is my e mail. Thanks B Vallis
Yeah, nice! Any info, on what transformers and tubes you used here?
Hi, this sounds great.. I would be interested in the schematic for this full mod ... thanks.
Wow! This is exactly what I'm looking for! A 15-20 watt amp that gets those classic plexi tones, up to early EVH. Was this difficult to build? How much experience did you have going in?
is this the Tubetown P18 kit?
Like others have said, sounds great! I'm torn between JC18 or PX18 kit. Had already made my mind and was going to get the JC18, the this came along... I assume you've added a gain stage? Would you be kind enough to share the schematic?
great plexi tones. Can I get a schem too
Excelente Review and beautiful tone Plexi style Super Lead Plexi 1959, but reduced 18 watts
Is this the 18 watt circuit where they replace the tremolo channel with a channel style called TMB (mojotone) which is apparently a type of JCM 800 or has another type of circuit or modifications?
Thank You for your answer. Good day.
Awesome sounding amp! Could you send me the schematics for this mod?
Does this have a master volume or an effects loop?
nice tone , do you have diodes or transistors here (sat)??
Did you do a build thread on any of the forums? I'd love to read through the process! Do you know of any companies in the States that sell this kit?
Sound great man! I'd be very interested in seeing your schematic or wich mods you performed as well, soon starting an 18 watt plexi build. Love the tones you're getting!
@@pietlut2245 No, I have a pre-phase inverter Master Volume.
I changed a lot in the preamp for more Gain, so a PPMV was not necessary.
The PX18 is a great base, the JC18 should fit as well.
You got an email.
@@ThePhilipp01 MInd if I get a schematic as well? My tech built me a TMB that is great, but I'd like to get this kind of plexi sound a little more, Sounds and looks great!
@@franklinsheehan1030 Sure! Give me your email adress
@@ThePhilipp01 Hi, it sounds awesome! Could you send schematics to me too? I'm thinking about building smaller Marshall style amp for rock/heavy metal stuff and this sounds great.
matejruzicka23@gmail.com
Hey Phillipp did you use the two 100uf can cap that are in the tube town schematic too ? seems a lot of filtering no ?
Does this have an effects loop?
sounds fantastic! may I ask for Schematic please. Killer sound great job!
The schematic is now slightly different than in the video. I need your email adress.
@@ThePhilipp01 I would like to do it too mine is pitao.rio@gmail.com , thanks in advance
@@ThePhilipp01 Hi! I know I am annoyingly late, but heard your demo first today, and am blown away by both your very competent playing and the absolutely delicious sound of your modded amp. Would it be possible to send schematics to me as well? Plan to buy a PX18 kit and mod according to the possible input from you. Cheers, Magnus

Hey man, sounds awesome! What speaker did you use? Creamback?
Thanks! V30 on that recording
These specs work on a 50 watt?
it sounds great! I'm really confused by the number of 18w kits, on tubetown alone, there are so many to choose from...
Especially the TubeTown ones are all based on a specific flavour. Friedman, Plexi, JCM800, Vox/Matchless, Hiwatt, Fender Tweeds, Trainwreck etc. Checking out the amps that inspired those kits should help you decide which one suits you the best.
@@MarijnSlot i know, but is confusing when you have never had a chance to play the actual amps. I am probably gonna go for the jcm800 18w from tubetown, though
@@amaurythewarrior Ah yes! The struggle with almost all gear tryouts.
@@MarijnSlot well on the other hand, they're pretty affordable so if quality is there, I'm sure I won't stop at 1 amp...
@@amaurythewarrior Oh the quality is definitely there. I've already built the PX18, PI18, have an AC18 shipped as we speak and an LX18 on my wishlist :)
Where did you get the chassis? I have had a Trinity Amps turret board sitting around for years, but never populated it, because we have to import everything to NZ and that's very pricy to do. No local suppliers because it's a one horse hick country lol. I just ordered the TMB stuff from Valvestorm that should cover populating the board, but their chassis is the 1974 style, rather than this.
Holyshit dude
Do you have schematic?
Pretty fuckin snotty sounding outfit ya got there. I'm fixin to send away for one of these from Mojotone.
