The humor in these guides is always top tier! Plus this was one of the more epic Zelda quests on the GameBoy Color, so epic it needed two whole games! :3
*_Fun Fact:_* There was supposed to be a third game, that never got made for I forget why exactly, where Koume & Kotake light the third flame; The Flame of Despair. *_Oracle of Seasons_* = Flame of Destruction *_Oracle of Ages_* = Flame of Sorrow *_???_* = Flame of Despair
I think I can speak for most of us here when I say that we were worried that something had happened to you since you hadn't posted any new content in a while. Glad to see that you're still around, and seemingly ok!
I've played through this game three times, and I didn't know about the fact you could use Nayru's house as an inn to full heal at will. Thanks for covering this, and the little details that are easy to miss.
Loves these as a kid. As I watch this now, I'm playing through echoes of wisdom. Good times❤ the way zeldas power up music is similar to these games power up music had me smilin. EOW feels like a successor to these great games.
Been watching for 2 years now. I love how in-depth your videos are. You beat games I have tried 30 plus years to beat, Would love to see a Wizards and Warriors 3 video at some point. Keep up the great work
So this was what you were up to 👾 the Oracles games are one of the finest titles for the GBC, along with Link's awakening DX Thank you so much for unravelling all the wonders these games had to offer ❤
Welcome back! I was getting worried after more than a month of no new videos, but it looks like you've been quite busy with your choice for the next game. I have both Oracle games on the Switch's online service, and I started Seasons, but after this video, maybe I'll scrap that and go for Ages first.
I just wanna let you know that I love your channel! I have a huge interest and addiction to retro games. Theys can be very fun but can also be very difficult or cryptic in what you need to actually do to progress. I can imagine it takes a lot of time and effort to make these videos but I am sure I am not alone when I say I very much appreciate you making them. Please don't stop. BTW I am currently playing Metroid Fusion on GBA and having an absolute blast!
Oh hell yeah! New UCBVG! This is as good a time as any to thank you, UCBVG, once again, for helping me finish Kid Icarus, Metroid, Zelda II, and a few others when Covid hit and we were all stuck at home.
I just went through these for the first time fairly recently, all the while wishing you'd done a guide on them. I got through it, but I guess I should've waited; these have a lot going on, and seem very intimidating when you're trying to figure out how the whole link system works, and you have a great way of simplifying things.
I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for these games, mostly Oracle of Seasons since it was the first Zelda game i've ever played back in 2003. Oh how i wished they got the Link's Awakening Remake treatment, they're very underrated and deserving of more love and recognition.
How the hell have I never heard of these games? For crying out loud I own a release day copy of Link’s Awakening. The existence of these two was complete news to me today! 😮
I actually had heard about these 2 games upon release and still owned a Gameboy Color. But I never picked them up because I lacked this little thing called money. 😅
OMG! Handheld Zelda was my childhood and Seasons and Ages are 2 of my favorite Zelda games of all time. I remember saving my money buying Season's, while my mother bought me ages so I could have both, and got the stratagy guides to go with it. I also remember Seasons and Ages being expensive at the time, each game was around 40 or 50 bucks. I can't think of any better way to spend 8 hours of my life (at this currrent time and when you release the Season's video).
Finally finished the video. Actually surprised I didn't think to use the Gale Seeds on some of the tougher enemies/obstacles before, so thanks for that tip. 👍
I am so hype for this video, and the seasons video that will come, from you. I am always wishing for more Oracle content and your videos are so comfy. Thank you for your hard work!
Awesome! I beat the pair of these last year, and had a blast. I'll enjoy these videos as prep for the next time I play them. Linking the games was such a cool mechanic. No pun intended lol.
Your videos are so incredibly satisfying for me as a perfectionist - keep it up 😃👍! And even if I know the game inside out, I still enjoy watching the video.
Bro, where you been? Super stoked to see something from you. And what a something. This is sick, dude. Hope you're well. Much love, homie. I never actually played this game, but everyone I know has, it seems. I feel like I have now. Nice work.
3:50:00 This is what I called the Skull Dungeon boss at first, but it's more likely that this is Patra from the original NES game. Never would have thought to shoot gale seeds at anti-fairies, though. Genius stuff!
I played these games in 2001 when they were new, then again around 2018 on 3DS, and actually collected 100% rings by cycling through a gasha tree route. No wonder these 2 games rated so highly. They are just beautiful.
The Oracle games are among my top favorite Zelda games! This is going to be great to see you cover them~ A little fun fact about Maple: You can actually somewhat tell if she's carrying something precious and rare (like a Heart Piece or a rare ring) by looking at the shadow during her entrance flyby. If it's a sideways U shape, it's likely gonna be a bunch of common things (though Potions, Gasha Seeds, and rings can drop). If you see the shadow fly in an S shape, though, it's likely she's gonna have something very good on her, so pay attention to the shadow during her entrance!
Love this video. I missed out on these games when they came out, and I'm so happy to see how they play out. Also, I thought the linked games were like Pokemon where I needed a link cable. Glad to learn how wrong I was.
Oh wow I was just thinking of finishing this game on NSO. Im about halfway but got stuck a while back so definitely gonna use this guide to continue. Just came from the Metroid 2 guide also.
such a nostalgic game for me. The only reason I liked this more than Seasons is because of the switch hook. Something about that really did make me love it as a kid.
Welcome back old friend
He wasn't gone stupid
Lol
He wasn't gone
Lmao he didn't go anywhere tho
He's been missing from my notifications even though I'm supposed to be notified of his new videos.
Everytime a new one of these videos drops its like a new game coming out because now i have to play or replay through a game to see what i missed
There's a reason everyone tells you that your channel is great.... and that is because it is!
Another winner from UCBVG!!
Oracle of Ages and Seasons are 2 of my favorite Zelda games ever. So happy to see them featured on your channel!
I *_LOVED_* doing these in the 3DS Virtual Console!! Ahh... Memories...
Good to see you back. I was literally just wondering about how you were doing.
This weekend just got better
Holy hell man. These two games were a blast but I never did 100% both of them and I'm excited to watch the doggos play it. Thank you.
I think the dogs aren't actually playing. They probably just act like they're playing when it's actually him playing.
@ninjaguyYT oh I'm sure the dogs don't play the games. They absolutely do the research and video editing though. /s
@@alanblanks Most likely.
Dude 4 hours! Nice. I was just gonna do some chores and this will power me through it. 💥

I think I can speak for most of us here when I say that we were worried that something had happened to you since you hadn't posted any new content in a while. Glad to see that you're still around, and seemingly ok!
Nah, UCBVG usually does videos once a month instead of once a week now, and it’s always worth the wait
Same man but boy Sundays be hitting different when I know my favorite show is coming on its my new version of Saturday morning cartoons
Great vid, as always! 2001-1986 = 15, though!

@@ChiefChampAlot Seriously? You're going to correct me over an obvious typo? I corrected it for ya. Congrats.
@GodShiru Well, if you're going to correct someone, you yourself should be correct. Was just trying to help make your correction correct, good sir

I was JUST thinking about you yesterday and that i havent got a video from you for a while. welcome back

This game is still THE G.O.A.T.
Thanks to you and your wife for working on this video, can’t wait for more.

Was SOOOOO waiting for a new episode!!! Love your work!

Ohh, I wish, I wish I didn't squish that buuush....!
Awright!!! New UCBVG LETS GO
Welcome back! Funny enough, i just started playing Oracle of Seasons.
I've played this game for years as a kid, several times over, and even today watching this I'm learning new things. Cheers o/
So this was what you were up to 👾 the Oracles games are one of the finest titles for the GBC, along with Link's awakening DX

All right! This is just what I need to finally pass this game. And welcome back.

Fantastic video. Watched the whole thing over a couple of days. I’m so happy you’re doing this. Must have been a TON of work to do it.
Im SO happy youre doing these games. Capcom knocks it out of the park when they do Zelda games. I love Oracle and Ages!!
Excellent choice patrons!!
This has become my favorite channel on youtube. You, my friend, are a gift.
Broooooo back with one of my favorite games of my childhood?
Let’s gooooooooooooo!

I had Link's Awakening... I never heard of this Oracle of Ages.... or Seasons or whatever... these sound awesome. Glad to watch this!
It felt like forever since one of your majestic videos! Happy Halloween (pretty much) 🎃
You are my favorite UA-cam channel. I hope you will make many more videos. I watch your videos often. Thank you from Holland. ❤
Ah man, Ages and Seasons are peak nostalgia for me ❤ I can’t wait to see your full coverage of both games!
I just went through these for the first time fairly recently, all the while wishing you'd done a guide on them. Same here. But I think I moved on from handhelds by 2001
I actually had heard about these 2 games upon release and still owned a Gameboy Color. But I never picked them up because I lacked this little thing called money. 😅
Welcome back! I never played this Zelda 😞
Finally! I have been waiting for this one! Thank you!
I always loved the nods to Majora's Mask, Ocarina of Time and Link's Awakening. Sure there's more but those always stood out to me.
These two games are so underrated! They're easily in my top three favorite!
OMG! Handheld Zelda was my childhood and Seasons and Ages are 2 of my favorite Zelda games of all time. What an incredible, totally different set of stellar games! Thank you for covering them! ❤
Would love to see Bart treehouse of terror GBC games if you are branching out love the vids liked and subbed
Don't forget Escape from Camp Deadly.
I am so hype for this video, and the seasons video that will come, from you. I am always wishing for more Oracle content and your videos are so comfy. Thank you for your hard work!
I honestly never got into the Oracle games, even though I'm a fan of the rest of the series. Cool to see what I missed.
You can also play these on 3DS Virtual Console if you home brewed your console.
Awesome! I beat the pair of these last year, and had a blast. I'll enjoy these videos as prep for the next time I play them. Linking the games was such a cool mechanic.

Such a wonderful game. It's great that you are covering this one. Thank you so much.
Do oracle of seasons as linked game after ages
I'm so hyped for new video, I didn't realized this was 4 hours long 😮. Best weekend ever 🎉
the amount of effort and video editing in your content is top notch bro
I am absolutely ecstatic with this game choice! One of my absolute favorites, so pumped for this vid
Game is top 3 for me along with seasons....absolute masterpieces. Thank you - I look forward to a new run using this video! :)
I've been waiting for this!
Hopefully part 2 + a Seasons episode is not too far of!!
Seasons will also have 2 parts. So sometime after Ages part 2 comes out, we’ll have Seasons part 1, then later, Seasons part 2.
It's awesome u just posted this, I legit downloaded both of these games as well as links awakening on an emulator like three days ago
Your videos are so incredibly satisfying for me as a perfectionist - keep it up 😃👍! And even if I know the game inside out, I still enjoy watching the video.

Woooo! Welcome back . Been waiting for this . Love the long play and explanations of your format ^_^
Great playthrough, I've never had the chance to play the Oracle games so this is the next best thing!

I requested this a year ago! Thank you so much. Your content is my weekend me time.
I was glad to see this game and Seasons released on NSO! Also, I would've done an OSHA related joke during the first visit to the black tower as well.
The Oracle games are among my top favorite Zelda games! This is going to be great to see you cover them~

Yes! Just the excuse I needed to pick up my playthrough of these again. I got a few dungeons into Ages and then got busy and forgot about it
Yessir!!!!! And LOZ too!
this is my favorite zelda game of all time! cant wait to watch this
You the man. Big beef on campus for sure. You big beef man!! 🎉🎉🎉
The restoration ceremony always gave me a hard time, i didn’t know it was that simple to throw those guys off!
I was hoping you'll get to these soon.
glad you did this will be very useful.
Love this video. I missed out on these games when they came out, and I'm so happy to see how they play out. Also, I thought the linked games were like Pokemon where I needed a link cable. Glad to learn how wrong I was.
Awesome! I was just wondering when you were gonna upload yesterday
Oh wow I was just thinking of finishing this game on NSO. Im about halfway but got stuck a while back so definitely gonna use this guide to continue. Just came from the Metroid 2 guide also.
Yes! More content from an awesome creator! Keep it up!!
Great work guy, keep going!
You had me worried there, glad to see you're back!
YES! Been waiting for this from you for a while!
Oracle games were two of my favourite Zelda games.
No wonder it’s been a while some serious work going on on this one !!!
Good to have you back!!
Ages first huh interesting so thats the kind of man you are, Respect.
Disco, Disco, Good, Good. I dunno, during the Wing Dungeon a certain room made me think of the movie "You Don't Mess With The Zohan".
such a nostalgic game for me. The only reason I liked this more than Seasons is because of the switch hook. Something about that really did make me love it as a kid.
