- 1952年デビューのModel K(750cc)から続いたKフレーム 1978年で最終年式です。
リアドラムブレーキ+ドリブンスプロケット、駆動制動装置の全て右側に配置。でありながらフロントはFXSローライダーと同じダブルディスクというスタイルはこの最終型だけです。
その他、各所フレームの補強やエンジンのトップマウントを強化することで、不快な振動が出にくく、回しやすく、乗りやすいエンジンンフィーリングは最終型だけの特権かもしれません。

I had a 1977 XLH, bought it new and rode it for 16 yrs. I installed a kicker so i had both kick and electric start. Blew up the trans and clutch so I installed Andrew's gears and a Barnett racing clutch and 17T counter shaft sprocket. Rebuilt the top end twice. The bike was pretty quick back in the day. After 16 yrs I sold it to a kid who wrecked it within a month.
It's a wonderful iron sports life.
I had Andrews' Y cam in it.

@@ka-nokikko4152 My sporty wasnt as fast as the Japanese sport bikes but it was fast enough for me.
