This track has been played in every scene that played a key role in bringing about anxiety, fear, grief and anguish to both the characters and the audience. It all starts small, starts quiet, eventually it snowballs into great terror, leaving behind a solemn, grim trail. The title really captured what this track meant for the scenes it played for in the anime. This song will always pluck the sad, complicated feelings I felt for when I watched Gankutsuou, even if I may have forgotten the scenes, just like a Pavlov's Refrain.

listened to the whole soundtrack just to find this one (not that I'm complaining). An epic track for an epic anime. Long into the future I imagine myself forgetting maybe all of what happened in Gankutsuou, but this track will still give me goosebumps.
Any suggestions? I haven't seen a phenomenal anime like this in a while and I'm intellectually starved lol. If you guys know of any that are on par with this, let me know. I've already seen Monster and CG

It's quite liberating watching the full version and appreciating the full beauty of so many good shows, and the censorship obviously failed because now as weebs we're way more open minded that what was intended x)
