A leader is inspiring and can see use their envoirment to its full potential. Most importent a leader is not above otheres instead you function as a unit. Even if workers go against you stay calm and listen to their claims and find a reasonable ground for the best of the group/company, and if this dont work then deside what measurments to take. Always open the floor for the employs and hear them out before disiding. And if things dont go your way always try to change your perspective go back to the drawing board. Dont tolerate any forn of disrespect talk in a calm manner and explain it firmliy. Dont be competative with your fellow leaders learnbfrom them instead.
Thank you Brian for sharing. Being a leader in the corporate company myself, I feel very passionate about helping the young, first time leaders to find their way. It's not easy, especially in today's aggressive world of business. I feel it is my duty to help the young leaders figure out their own way of doing things. I get inspired by people like you and I try to inspire the younger generation. Thank you again.
Best presentation style I have seen ever in your body language, eye movement, hand movement, clear voice etc. etc. Thank you Bran Tracy for this valuable information.
Looks are one 'First Impression', Psychological Body language shows how you are feeling, how strong, confident are you, for example, crossed arms can mean you are defensive, or cold, so try to keep more open. Eye contact skill are very important, weak eye contact can show lack of confidence, successful eye contact indicates boldness... & people admire brave people
@@Bluesnakes333 .........Jeez what century are you from?!? [oh....wait a moment. Are you American?] In EVERY recent study of the key elements for making presentations - body language was never once included.

For sure Communications skills should be one of the missing qualities that are no mentioned in the video. Perhaps, unity or team building is the other one. All in all, great content and presentation
I take full responsibility as a leader. Sometimes you have to make tough decisions to make the buisness move forward. I have thick skin and I have the ability to adpapt to any situation that comes my way. I am a leader because I took full responsibility years ago to lead with honor and to succeed with grace...
Thank you. I'm currently studying a level 5 qualification in leadership and management. I'm going to purchase one of your books on Monday as it's my birthday. And hopefully sometime next year I'll come back here and say I've passed. Fingers crossed. Thanks again.
Brian - I have watched this video several times now and still don't hear what your last 2 essential qualities of great leaders are! (you only state 5 - VISION, COURAGE, INTEGRITY. HUMILITY and STRATEGIC PLANNING). Please explain....
A very explicit, simplified explanation. My only concern is that there are only five qualities outlined and explained which are clear vision, courage, integrity , humility and strategic planning, with more needed. i stand to be corrected. Hope to hearing from you in the soonest time.
Excellent to watch and listen to. Will be using your Video like others in my classes.Viedeo is easy to follow, clear and precis.Although the sixth and seventh qualities are not spelled out clearly.
+Maureen O’Connell (Scholastic) I could not agree more with you! A leader who gains respect is someone who will get the most from those who follow them!
they are all sound great but not enough, actually a leaders need to be any thing they have to be good teachers above all to encourage their staff to move forward by learning and at same time to be a good listener, and knows psychology.
sir i do really appreciate how you satisfied me with your concept of quality of a good leader and i hope you will share with us more. and i wanted to contact you personally if possible.
I gonna be a headprefect next year..i got stressed when i knew bout that cuz for me that is a big responsibility..please help me how to avoid from felling not deserved to have that
WRONG.. these qualities can be learned althroughout UA-cam.. WHAT YOU NEED TO SAY IS.. THESE QUALITIES NEED TO BE PRACTICED AND BE LIVED.. that is what you need to say..
I think we watched different videos because i found his delivery uninspiring. Kind of boring and those hand gestures and face movements seem unnatural, as if he has to make them to check the body language box. Hopefully the next videos are slightly improved.
That is true in the United States too. I have found working with my staff there is some people on my staff who take kindness and politeness as weakness and there are others that thrive on kindness and humility. So I find as a leader I have to adjust to help the person that I'm working with get where they're going. With some people I'm very clear and direct and with others on collaborative.
I had this book as an ARC for a while ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxwHvIRKLeMFEF5amHdEGkj01Ri3k-DOuh but started it about two weeks ago.I couldn't have read it at a more opportune time as the practice and techniques of meditation came in super handy for the way things were going for me lately, having a lot of stress and anxiety in my life of late. A very informative and easy book to follow and a definite keeper as a reference.Mr. Chopra wrote a clear, concise and easy for all to follow way to find peaceful and relaxing of the mind and soul through meditation.

Brain Tracey you are a worthy powerful Jedi! I don't even remember the last two qualities :). Awesome learning from you sir.
That is because there wasn't a clear indication of the last two. I can only surmise that they are Focus and Take Responsibility
1.vision 2.courage 3.integrity 4.humility 5.ability to anticipate and 6th and 7th have not be explicitly identified. Maybe "Focus on Strength" and "Accept Results"??

good observation TheSoulTwins, the last two what I can conclude from his presentation are 6. Focus on Results and 7. Focus on Strengths.
6, attention to detail, 7- pointing out others mistakes LOL
I'm using this for a project and found the same error
Angela L you guys are so mean lol..
He not mentions the sixth and seventh qualities.

can some one give me a subtitle of this video??

6.accepts responsibility for results
7.dare to go forward

7 or 5 qualities? You mentioned only 5.
A good leader would understand the last two qualities by themselves. You failed Sir ;-)
👏👏👏

7. Taking responsibility for the results.

thats only 5
