damn nice man... i played RO since i was 14 , now im already 26 and happily married but still playing RO ... its a touching story dude.... btw i meet my wife in this game... this game was half of my life :) ill teach my kids soon :)

One could say I grew up on this game, started playing with 12 years, I miss the old days, the old community. I wish there was an european re:start server. Though I'm not playing anymore, I'll never forget the memories I made there, a bittersweet feeling.
at that time, there's still no job called "Ninja". He pretented and came up with the job called Ninja to hide his true job (assassin). He didn't want the newbie to think that assassin is a weak job from the start and get discouraged. He knew he'd be weak because he gave his strong weapon to the newbie. In the end the newbie realized that they're both assassin but he learned that he could become stronger on his own. That's when he discovered the jur in his storage.
Very touching story indeed, it reminded me of my assassin cross. I also asked help from someone when I was a novice. I wanted to know where is the Thief's Guild... This video is really touching.. Rok On!
man....the old Ragnarok T_T brings so much memories...the gameplay, the ppls in it, and theme songs I just love it, I have never play mmo rpg like this one even in 2012, I believe those who played Ragnarok agree with me that good game is not about ghraphic. btw touching video...i have lv85 sinX and lv 99 priest, damn, it's so true if you want become stronger don't rely on other...i love being thief and acolyte :)
the part when he suddenly saw the jur his assassin friend has given to him was the most touching part for me. At first he never knew what was it and what it was for but then he realized that within his storage, one of the most powerful weapon for assassin is kept. One of the most original touching story I've ever come across with.
..i didnt get the last part, feels like i WANT MORE! :D anyway, cool, the animation was great, the background music only have a lil flaws but overall, two thumbs up!
I had an experience like this the first time I played RO. With friends, the game is awesome to the max. But I had to leave one day too, and we all lost contact.. T_T Assassin ftw!
One of the saddest thing we could experience while playing the game is to feel that we're left alone by our dear friends in the game. However, this could be essential for us to realize that in this game, although we have lots of friends that support us, we need to be alone in order to be strong for ourselves, any of our friends can leave the game at any time, for any reason, it's inevitable and sad. Friends come and go but these memories in game should be passed like a legacy - just like the jur

This reminds me of the old times, on a small private server called Qro, it was a great community, and everyone was friends, I made some of my best friends on there, and then one day, one of the servers main donators, stopped donating, and Qro was no more... we all went our sperate ways, *sniff* so sad =(

he taught the novice how to be independent. He needed to become independent because that's the only way on how he'll become strong - not to rely on someone but achieve things by himself. It was effective. He started with the strong weapon the Assassin left for him. Only in the end he realized how strong the weapon was and how significant the lesson he learned.
In term of gaming, at least for me, it's those who protect us from getting scammed or cheated, accompanying us hunting without bots, aiding you with some cash or equipments when you even don't ask for it, respecting your 'newbietardness', reminding us that we also still have real-life so we need to stop playing game at some point - and we did, all that remains are precious memories. Anyway, thanks the past RO community. That was heartwarming.
Well, i helped a lot of players before but they all left me at the middle of our adventure.... i journeyed alone a lonely path... leveling alone, meeting other players striving to reach 99... now im at max lvl 99/70.... i still miss those adventurer who did not reached their goals... who stop at the middle of the road and turn around.... I remembered one day in payon cave when i was still an assassin, i have a heal clip and i used it to heal myself.... There is a novice who asked me to heal him and give him buffs and support... I said "im no priest"... then he asked me "why can you use heal?". I was shocked when he asked me... i felt concerned.... that he might end up turning around like those others i helped before..... i felt the fire of guiding him till he reach his 2nd job to decide whether he will go forward or back out.... he is so new in the game... he has a lot of questions and concerns.... he chose to become a merchant..... i brought him with me to different lands... guiding him..... using my supplies for him.... giving him strength to reach his goal of becoming a BS...... Its funny, our favorite spot is in Nifflheim, inside the witch castle..... there he builds his dreams and told me that he will get stronger....... its so funny for me but i felt his will to go on.... to proceed and explore the world..... till one day..... same like the others..... he left..... he told me that he is leaving the game..... he even asked me if i want some items to pay back my kindness to him..... i told him to keep it..... i will wait if one day he decide to return back.... back then, when those whom ive helped left the game w/out saying their farewell, it was sad..... When all of them back out and never return.... But this time, the sadness i felt is immeasurable compared to what i felt before him..... maybe because the bond we have together.... We even added one another in FB.... Chatting for the next adventure.... Where we should go and explore..... Now, i cannot even find him posting in FB, he disappeared...... once again, i was alone in the world of ragnarok.... Wondering alone, meeting people on different dungeons which i called "classmates".... now that we all graduated i felt that in my heart i will not stop to help someone in need..... im just waiting.......... patiently...... i will be there till the game ends........ This is my story...... Thank you!!.......
First, when the main character gave his jur to the newbie it was meant that the main character was going to quit because the jur had good cards on it. It was a good movie really.
he passed it remembering that he was helped he still likes that assassin who taught him everything and want to be like him and in hornor of that helping the new player by guiding him like he was guided including giving the katar away its like repeating the story now he is the assassin and not the novice :´)

ahahaha... 90% story from the video above happen to me.. even assasin was the weakest job among all job on that day.. but its really cool.. with no bot in all RO maps a relationship was made, a new friend, a new adventure, love, hate, laugh and tear, friend and foe.. thats why i'm really like this game.. emotional connection i've got from this game is so strong. RO was part of my life.. and yes I've still had connection from friend i;ve got in RO until NOW.. RO maybe End but Friendship never end
He was a very strong assassin though. He never showed his true strength to the thief because 1. He wanted him to know that everyone starts from being weak then eventually becomes stronger, 2. He gave his strong weapon to the thief (triple critical jur is a dream weapon for an assassin at that time)
I played on czech RO server and when you were good assassin you was strong. I Was assassin lvl 79 lvl. It was very low-rate server so i was really good. Assassins are not bad at all
because he need to left him alone. if hes always there he will not get strong because he will depend to that assassin he so called brother. he also teach him since notice to theft to assassin. he his pack with info like cards info. the reason he gave the jur because i think that jur symbolize trust. that he can be a good assassin. since he call himself weak. he ddnt notice that jur contain 3ple crital jur. thats LOVE. like an assassin.

maybe the first assassin already planned in quitting a long time ago... but since that novice came, he must have felt "maybe I should help him out for my one last play* or maybe before that.. he may have felt "I don't want to quit this game just like this" and ended up sitting near that npc while feeling really bored at the time*sigh*
when the hell will they come out with gun slingers(however its spelt i dont feel like looking) second transfer im a level 121 GS so please tell me when GS gets there next class
