Congratulations to the FISM winners, including 3rd place Erik Tait (US) for Card Magic. The dealer's room didn't look any bigger than the International Brotherhood of Magicians (IBM) National Convention. Many of the same people at FISM were there as well. We saw 4 FISM acts 10 days before they competed in Quebec. We also get a magical 100 year anniversary playing card deck designed by Shawn Farquar. The David Copperfield poster and coin were also cool. Thanks for sharing!

Nice to see a clip of the event and some great visual effects. I liked it when I heard you say "where can I get one" as soon as you watched the card change effect. And nice to see it was held in Montreal.
I love when the community of magicians or Cardists come together because you gat to share your talents with others while also seeing other peoples talents.

FISM looks great this time - properly professionally done and a nice goody bag! Couldn't be there - but I'm glad you were there and brought some bits for us to share. So sorry I missed your lecture - Connie's too... and all the other ones.
Connie's lecture was incredible... it needs to be out with a magic retailer for magicians to purchase...it's too good - no words really. She sheds light on women in magic through history and finally answers the question - why so few female magicians.
@@ekatmagic your lecture was fab as well. So important for magicians to learn about marketing PLUS some cardistry and close-up secret fabrication insight!!

Couldn’t film anything in the contest locations, and missed quite a bit of acts due to other parallel events. I was rooting for a few folks, they didn’t get first place, but I think they will do very well with their acts 🙂

Very nice event 👍 👌 not bad awesome. I like the card changes right in the wrong card and then changes in there choice of card's and I believe there should be more women in being a magicians.
How lucky you are to be invited to give a lecture at FISM. I'm not sure I even qualified to attend! As a longtime subscriber to your channel, I would have put your lecture on my definite list had I been there. Hope to see it posted some day soon.

this felt a bit too short, but I guess you might have been busy yourself for preparing the lectures and the lectures themselves. What tricks did you bought for yourself from the dealer hall if you got any?
could not film in most places and could not stay up everyday till 5am lol as my lecture was early in the AM, however - I did get two items I can talk about… who knows maybe even review 😉
