I learn soooo much from your lessons. I'm 70 years old and retired graphic artist/illustrator and I love your free style of drawing. You have opened up a new world to me and my sketchpad. I draw for fun only and I am having fun with your style of drawing and painting. Thank you!! You are seriously talented btw!
I cant tall ya how glad I am to have found your channel today ! This is exactly what I have been needing as I push forward into the beginning of my urban sketching journey 🙂
I recently discovered your channel and I'm happy to say that I've finally found someone who gives clear instructions and make drawing so easy, plus make beginners feel like pros😁 I really enjoy urban sketching now thanks to you!
Thanks for guides! Used to draw a lot, but stopped. I didn't want to make mistakes, but your style shows what can be done with "simple" curved lines and some watercolor 😉
I shared this with my drawing group, it it's ok, We just did this reference a few weeks back. Mine was just ink, Too bad , could have used the tips, Thanks for the tutorials, you channel is very informative and interesting.
I like the way you taught and showed your color mix. I hope you would say if the paper was wet or dry before painting or if you added another layer, the first layer was wet or dry, etc. And I wish you could paint the details by watercolor, (the bricks , little houses) instead of ink lines.
I started using the artist quality Paynes grey and it seems slightly more blue but it's probably more likely just the way the camera picks up the colors,
More landscapes!! Love these. Also love your urban building tutorials.
More to come!
