Thanks Scottie, I love how you balance up the proportions with dots. That’s a great idea that I’m looking forward to using. Your finished work was beautiful. Thank you 😊😊
Wow, I can't draw worth beans, but thanks to your detailed lesson, I actually did it and am very proud of myself. As someone else mentioned, the dot approach was incredibly helpful. Thanks so much for helping me to realize a lifelong dream to water color something beautiful!
I LOVE the purple shading, I have started doing that in my paintings and I think it gives it something special. Thanks for these tips, it gave me confidence!
Absolutely love this....and I love your video. You have taken a complicated looking piece, and broken it down into parts, so that it appears to be very doable. I can not thank you enough!!
I Love Love your teaching style, how you detail, and add those finishing touches, this is amazing work, I hope to be good as you one day!!! Thank you for your time and for sharing… ❤❤❤ Super beautiful 😍
The Baohong paper takes water really well….however, although it’s supposed to be NOT, it’s actually very rough…I find the reverse is less textured..although then you would lose the advantage of having a glued pad. It’s very good value and is used a lot in Australia.

It is quite rough! Have you tried the hot press paper? I was wondering how smooth that would be compared to the cold press.
@@SketchingScottie no I haven’t…. It’s also quite creamy and I prefer a whiter paper
great tutorial, thank you! I did spot a detail too many though ;) Not that it matters
Great vid
How do you find "good" pictures to reproduce? What do you search for references? Love your work
Sorry Scottie, I’m new to your videos . What kind of paper are you using?
