I LOVE the purple shading, I have started doing that in my paintings and I think it gives it something special. Thanks for these tips, it gave me confidence!
Absolutely love this....and I love your video. You have taken a complicated looking piece, and broken it down into parts, so that it appears to be very doable. I can not thank you enough!!
Love the touches with the Posca pen. I am using the dot technique as much as I can. Thanks for the informative video Scottie.

Looks really good and I like how you graduated the colour down the sky and buildings. I will have to try that.

Yes this turned out really well! The color works well, especially the shadows. When you put in the white things just popped off the page.
Thanks for letting me know about the shadows and the white highlights! 🤗🙏🏼
It is the first rim that I see posca in a watercolour, I didn’t know I can use it there . Running to buy one tomorrow :)
🙌🏼 make sure it’s the PC-1M 👍🏼
How do you find "good" pictures to reproduce? What do you search for references? Love your work
Sorry Scottie, I’m new to your videos . What kind of paper are you using?
Thanks so much! Jennie
All the materials are linked in the description 👍🏼
The Baohong paper takes water really well….however, although it’s supposed to be NOT, it’s actually very rough…I find the reverse is less textured..although then you would lose the advantage of having a glued pad. It’s very good value and is used a lot in Australia.
It is quite rough! Have you tried the hot press paper? I was wondering how smooth that would be compared to the cold press.
@@SketchingScottie no I haven’t…. It’s also quite creamy and I prefer a whiter paper
Thank u sir that's the closest thing to therapy I've ever had n I can't afford therapy
The hardest thing is to draw those steps to come out at the dots.
yea most important thing is that they are roughly symmetrical👍🏼
